Awful experience with air conditioning and guest relations not caring

Due to a change in my circumstances, I travelled here solo, and the staff could not have been more accommodating!! From when I first arrived, they were so tentative and welcoming and sure I was comfortable with everything, and where things were. Throughout my stay they made sure I was happy, from the staff in the restaurant to the bartenders in the Cocktail Bar - they are amazing! The Guest Relations WhatsApp Chat was also a feature I found super helpful, each morning you receive a message of the activities which are on throughout the day, and the entertainment in the evenings. The Michael Jackson tribute was absolutely fantastic might I add!! Honestly, I cannot fault this place. The food is gorgeous. The scenery is beautiful. The staff are 10/10. I would love to come back again one day ☺️

I wish I wasn't writing this review because this means that our stay is over! But you gotta give credit where credit is due. This stay has really been something special. From the first moments of our stay we have been tended to by the most caring employees you can imagine. From the guest relations team by the reception to the wonderful and most hardworking groundskeepers by the beach. Wherever you look there Is a smile, a welcome or a how are you waiting. The room was impeccable. The food was wonderful. And I gotta say this is our first experience where our feedback is taken to heart at this level! We were asked frequently if we had any feedbacks. And whenever we did have anything to point out it was tended to emediately! So thank you to the guest relations team for this. The beach was super pretty and always wonderfully cared for! On the strip this was definitely the prettiest of them all. As for the sunbeds there were always empty spaces! We loved that we never felt pressured to buy extras. The salesmen took a no for a no. They asked politely then went their way. Keep this pu. Because its wonderful to not feel buying pressure at an all inclusive. The lunches were wonderful! And for the ones that truly made our trip memorable! The guys at brandson bar! They were literal cocktail masters! Always smiling always happy and always putting up a show. We always felt welcome and helped! Thanks for that! The 2 main skater waiters In blue t shirt! Muhammed And I sadly can't remember the other waiters name. But they were wonderful catered to our every need. Always had a bit of time for a little chatter and had a wonderful energy! Alina the waitress! Is the embodiment of professional and hardworking waitress! With both a good chunk of humor and a big heart! Thanks for making our a-la carte dinner special! And maybe the most memorable person of our entire stay! Firat thanks for the wonderful conversations. The best energy! For teaching us Pisti! You really made our stay something special with your hospitality. It doesn't happen often that the the leaving the employees is the thing that makes me sad at the end of my stay! We came to this hotel as a family of four with two teenage children. First impressions were a little underwhelming, went up to the room and was quite disappointed. The standard is not that of a five star hotel, the bedroom area was clean and acceptable but there was nothing wow about it. The bathroom was dark and dingy and the shower had black mold between the tiles and the grout and shower tray area was pretty grim. We paid for a sea view room so I was keen to go out to the balcony and see the view. I was so upset by what I saw, which was basically a view of next doors hotel and a side street between the two hotels that housed the bins and service areas for next door. The sea was visible, yes, but it is 100% a side-sea view room which is not stated online. There are, in reality, a very limited number of rooms in the hotel that actually have a true sea view. The location of the room also meant I was woken up around 7am on the first day by the bin lorry collection and kept awake until midnight by next door’s entertainment, on the nights we didn’t stay out late. I went down to reception to complain but he advised the rooms we had offered the best view you could get. I can only assume the front facing rooms are more expensive. To be fair to him he gave me the option to look round other rooms when people checked out the next day but I chose not to as we had fully unpacked by then and I assumed the actual sea front rooms wouldn’t have been an option for same price as he said we had the best view possible already. Overall the hotel is pleasant enough, the staff are helpful and friendly and the food offering is varied and fresh, the trucks offer good options for everyone so no real complaints there, although there are a lot of flies on and around the the food. The inside eating area is ok although often no cutlery and it is very noisy as staff continually throwing knives and forks into cleaning up trolleys. Felt sorry for some staff on boiling hot trucks and bars in the heat of the afternoon, it seemed like the conditions were hard for them at times. They need better air con/fans in outside areas. Pool is nice with slides for the kids and morning activities. Sun beds are uncomfortable with no padding so we got up early to secure day beds which were more comfortable. The beach/sea front location is excellent and the pier and bed layout there is also good, so lovely to be able to access and swim in the sea so easily and not have to walk over the stoney beach to get in. Seafront looks beautiful on an evening, all lit up. The bungalows you see on the front of the pier are private and come at a day rate of €300 so don’t be fooled into thinking you can get up early to secure them! The Ibiza bar is a nice chilled area, on an afternoon you can sit in the shade with a drink and look out to sea. On an evening there is entertainment there every night, which we enjoyed most nights. Regardless of whether these shows are to your taste, you cannot deny the standard of the entertainment is high and the performers are very talented. Overall we’ve had a nice holiday but I am judging against what I thought I was getting - a 5 star hotel, which this hotel is definitely not. I am really surprised that it gets so many five star reviews on here, maybe my expectations are too high!
