DOUBLETREE by Hilton Antalya Kemer

We went as a couple (same sex, only saying this as I know there’s a rumour that Turkey isn’t safe for same sex couples) and stayed for 1 week , the first week of June. The location is amazing, 1 hour transfer from the airport and Kemer has a really nice town centre with shops, restaurants & bars. We stayed in Delphin Grand (Lara Beach) last year and we much prefer this hotel as an adult couple. It’s a lot smaller than the Delphin Hotels but this makes it much more personal with how the staff treat you and the service you provide. Warm cookie on arrival , very nice rooms, comfy bed , pillow menu, personal assistant via WhatsApp for your entire stay, anything you want you just send them a WhatsApp. The food is amazing, all throughout the day there were always places to eat & drink. We went through Jet 2 Holidays and the Reps were amazing , big shout out to Stephanie & Katherine. Definitely worth purchasing the cabanas ! You definitely get the 5 star treatment and the Hilton Touch. Entertainment is really good. We had live bands , traditional Turkish show , Beetle Juice , a magic show which I’d actually pay money to go and see, Double Deception!!! However, I’m going to be pickie here because there isn’t much to moan about at all. There’s only 2 situations the Delphin do better than this hotel, in my opinion. The mini bar (the fridge in your room) at the Delphin had small bottles of wine included, red, rose, white. The Hilton only has beer and soft drinks, both hotels do restock everyday. The second thing is the Delphin when it came to evening meal in the main restaurant. They put candles on every table, the staff were dressed differently, the staff were right there when you walked in to when you needed a drink ect. The Hilton, it was the same vibe for breakfast, lunch & dinner. However, if that’s the vibe the Hilton is aiming towards then that’s absolutely fine. But, I don’t think it is and it seemed that there wasn’t enough staff to cope with the customer service and then cleaning the tables. You can tell , there are 1 or 2 staff to a section to do everything and the volume of guests they can’t keep up. But, you can tell they definitely want to give you the best experience. This is managements fault not down to the actual staff . Overall, definitely recommend. We would certainly go again.

Second time we came her and the hotell is still our favoritt. The staff is amazing, housekeeping keep it so clean and the food is high standard. A special thank to Harun who is so exepsional in hospitality! We booked the BBQ evening the last night and it was amazing! So much food and the atmosphere is wort every penny. Thanks to Kardelen and Dogan for makeing this evening soo perfect. And a big thank you to Amina and Zhazira who helpt with everything og Whats app when needed. Comming back in September :)

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel a true five star experience, we stayed for my fiancés birthday and they put banners and balloons in the room with a bottle of champagne and cake which was a really nice thing for them to do. We had a sea view room , which was part sea and part mountains we found it a good room with a lovely view , the only downside people might have is you can hear next doors entertainment till about 12 ish but that didn’t really bother us that much. The mini bar is replenished every day which was great they also cleaned the room everyday so couldn’t fault the cleaners at all. The food was amazing so much choice for breakfast, lunch with the food trucks there was so many options and all good. Now dinner was a bit hit and miss it’s themed nights but sometimes the theme wasn’t great we always found something to eat but we found dinner was not the best. What I loved was they had an icecream parlor on site that was open from 13:00 till 21:00 and the ice cream was so good and the fact it was open all day was great. What was very good was the fact the waiters come round on skates offering drinks from cocktails to soft drinks to even iced coffee and sometimes snacks like churros, service was top quality and couldn’t fault it. Location of the hotel is very close to kemer center, so many shops nearby which is very good, if your interested in going a flea market (clothes/bags/shoes/souvenirs) there’s one within walking distant only on Thursdays. Also what we loved about this hotel was the no sun bed wars we would go down to the pier at 8:30/9ish and there was always beds available. The entertainment was next level I’ve never been to a hotel before where they had this level of entertainment you have musical number dance shows , circus acts, top quality magician illusion shows and bands on some nights. Overall the hotel was amazing and couldn’t ask for anything more. Definitely value for money, you get what you pay for here. The only negative I would say is they don’t do anything if you have any complaints . we put a complaint in once while we stayed here and nothing was done about it apart from we will pass it on to management which led nowhere but we didn’t let it ruin the holiday it was just unfortunate they did nothing to rectify what happened.

This hotel was amazing.😘 Difficult to find fault with anything The staff were so obliging, nothing was too much trouble and there was so much choice of excellent quality food . Plenty of sun beds with waiters delivering iced coffees or cocktails to you on roller skates Highly recommended

Being a Hilton honours gold member I have stopped at many excellent Hilton hotels, this is by no means a 5 star hotel, supplying your guest with slippers and a dressing gown and a 24 hour bar doesn’t make it 5 star, 5 stars go to hotels that have great food, excellent service, fantastic staff who know what they are doing and managers who know how to manage, and who can talk enough English to know what there customer are asking them, English is, as I’m sure the hotel knows , is the world’s international language . CHECK IN. This took place in the coffee shop, nothing wrong with that at all , but in other 5 star hotels I’ve stopped in we got offered a welcome drink, nothing here. ROOMS. Bog standard Hilton rooms, nothing out of the ordinary here unless you want to spend a fortune on a duplex room. Cleaned daily, fresh towels and a restocked mini bar with nothing really impressive inside it. FOOD, breakfast was by far the worst meal, rock hard baked beans, a toaster that either tickled the bread or cremated it, a chef, said lightly, who couldn’t cook a poached egg to save his life. Constantly running out of plates and coffee cups. The food trucks were hit and miss, mostly good although the waffle truck was a complete joke. How can a cooking truck run out of strawberries less than an hour after opening 🤔, not once as advertised on it menu board did this truck have any ice cream, when you asked for it you got told, we haven’t any ice cream , ridiculous. Talking about ice cream, this is the only hotel I’ve stayed in that doesn’t have a ice cream station inside its restaurant, if you wanted any with your sweets you had to go to the parlour for it. WAITING STAFF. Some great staff , and some who had no idea. Never in my life have I seen staff running around a restaurant, literally running, and nearly colliding with guests as they ran around. My wife and I sat at a table, waited 20 minutes to get a drink and some cutlery, in which time I got some strawberries and some cherries and put them on our table. Our drinks came, we both had a drink of them and went to get our meal. On our return the waitress who I would only just brought our drinks had cleared the table and sat two other guests down, absolutely no idea unprofessionalism at its best. The beverage manager wants sacking, if a bar runs out of a bottle of spirits you’d have thought there would be another bottle in the store room behind the bar 🤔🤔 not here, the best bar was Georges bar, it had the best bar man too, his name was Metehan I gave him a crash course on how to pour a Guinness, he always got it right afterwards. All in all this hotel needs a lot changes to meet what the Akra next door offers, . Would I return , I very much doubt it
