This is a really honest review from a parents with 3 older teenage girls. Rooms- duplex swim up room looked great when we arrived but sink drainage pipe was not attached to the waste and flooded bathroom, repaired very quickly. The chap who showed us to our room which was a minute walk, hung about in the apartment for ages until my husband paid him to go away. Sadly the in your face tipping continues all holiday. Walls are so thin you can hear next door snoring, there was a horrendous row one night with screaming and shouting until about 4 am, security were called by another room but did little to help. The swim up patio had rats on it overnight which pooed all over the place including our inflatables. Apparently, there are no rats in Turkey according to reception. We flew with Jet2, one traveller had a severe gluten allergy, they assured us this would not be a problem. There are NO gluten free options at all and because of this they ate chips and fruit all week. The allergy labels are all complete rubbish, for instance, sweetcorn had a nut allergy sign on display. The restaurant staff and chef said they could not help as didn’t know what we were talking about. I am so grateful her allergy did not need an EpiPen, if you have an anaphylactic allergy please do not come here. Food in general was poor and very salty apart from omelette station for breakfast and the jacket potatoes in the snack bar at lunch. The AI alcohol made us all very unwell on the first night and thank goodness we bought Robinsons squash with us as we drank that all week. The AI cocktails are vile and dispensed from pre mixed vats. If you want to pay an additional €12 for a handmade one, don’t bother it’s the same. There are mini Twister ice creams free for about an hour, blink and you will miss it otherwise it’s €3:50 for a one scoop cone. There were multiple power cuts everyday, the main pool is tiny, we stayed off peak but packed in like sardines when it was open as shut for multiple brown shark incidents. The pool chaps will find you a bed if you are late in morning but again expect to pay for this. The communal toilets are locatable by the smell from 50 metres away all over the hotel. Expect poo, wee and vomiting on floor, especially at the ones under the slides, there will be no toilet paper either. Didn’t see the housekeeping staff all week and had to keep asking for toilet paper, fridge top up etc This is the first bad review I have ever left but this resort looks 5 star but is not worth the money we paid.

Eftalia Blue Hotel review: Pros: clean rooms. And suit’s family Cons: - Food is very repetitive, what you eat for lunch your will get same for dinner soo heavy on fattening greecy food repeats often. They only change the carving and decoration but food is same same. Breakfast : hope chef knows what people actually eats again fatty food fries salads 🙄🙄 - Pool guard Mustafa was rude and horrible they have no basic sense how to talk to the guests who’s paying soo much to enjoy. Entertainment : only by the main pool they don’t do anything to entertain children around pool. ONE BIG POOL ONE KIDS SPLASH AREA ONE SLIDE AREA THAT IS ALOS LIMITED TIME and pool guards like MUSTAFA knows how to ruin guest experience. - Pool area not well managed. It’s sooooo crowded. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR KIDS ICECREMAS ALL INCLUSIVE COCKTAILS TATSE ABSOLUTELY WATER AND 🤮🤮🤮🤮 If you pay for better cocktails it’s tastes horrible again. Ps DONT BOTHER TO VISIT THEIR ALACARTE RESTAURANT Pointless as only 2 staff running like crazy to serve food and drinks Reminded me of FAULTY TOWER SHOW. Food is worst there too. Burgurland is another place where you will get DRY burgers . Overall look somwhere to spend your money. You will be disappointed especially food pool and drinks Would not recommend if food variety swimming pool and customer service are important to you.

I’m writing this sat next to the slide pool at 12:30. The slides are closed between 12-2, for what reason I can’t tell you. But the pool the slides go into they also close. It’s totally ridiculous. I’m told it’s cos the lifeguards are on a break. Just to let you all know there are approximately 8 lifeguards. Why do they all need to take a break at the same time is beyond me. This is without doubt the worst hotel I’ve been to. The food is sub par, you have to pay for cocktails, ice creams and if you do want free ice lollies it’s only between 2-4pm. It’s far too overcrowded with not enough space in the main pool when they close the slide pool. I shall never return to turkey or use jet2 again. Save your money and go to a real 5* hotel. Oh and one other thing….the wifi is crap around the pool. If you want good wifi that’s another thing you”ll have to pay for!

Everyone has different experiences and we never judge a hotel based on reviews but always try and be honest with our own experiences. We had a duplex swim up room x2 and paid £16k for this holiday. We travel extensively each year and always 5 star whether Europe or Maldives regular. This hotel from the outside is impressive, looks 5*, the welcome was great and the rooms 1st impression spacious and clean. Unfortunately during the stay we constantly had to ask for mini bar top up, extra sheets for beds as only 1 was left which shouldn’t have to happen. We tipped everyday in the tip box on the room but this doesn’t guarantee you that little extra care when maids come to room. Pool side we couldn’t complain, we hired a cabana for the full stay and where well looked after by selim who was always attentive and making sure we had drinks all day although this wasn’t included in all inclusive as the bar attached to the cabanas was a paying bar not all inclusive. Granted you can easily walk to the bar and get your own drinks and this isn’t an issue. During the 2 weeks stay the main pool had to close, the baby pool had to close and also slides had to close due to circumstances outwith the control of the hotel but down to guests not being sensible and either letting kids empty bowels in pool or break glass within pools. Noise levels within the duplex room a few nights was crazy with some arguments and also guests being loud in the early hours. Not ideal when you have young kids but then this is a large complex and you cannot control the behaviour of others especially with so many different nationalities. Food was more European and caters more towards different nationalities and not a lot of options for British. Mushroom sauce and pasta was a favourite or the bolognaise but apart from that it was hard to have a different meal everyday and the kids options where limited to pizza, pasta and chips or nuggets. Desserts were not the greatest, bland and although look good and presented well nothing with a taste that made you want more, we left more than we ate unfortunately. The big positive was the effort made to make my wife’s birthday memorable, decorating cabana, cake, flowers and room decorations was no fuss and greatful for the effort made to make her day special. All in this hotel wasn’t somewhere we would return personally but we still made some good memories whilst here.

Lovely, clean, modern hotel, amazing entertainment team. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. The waterpark is next level. Slides are very fast and fun. We upgraded to a swim up room which was so worth the small cost for the 10 days and they’re very spacious and clean! Pools were a lovely temperature also. Very good value for money. 10/10 would recommend for a family or even just a couple!
