Grand Park Lara

This hotel was fantastic for the price we paid. Always plenty going on and lots of food choices. The burgers at the beach were delicious and the jacket potato’s by the pool were a favourite. There is always food available! The A La Carte was out of this world - delicious! The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels issued. The only reasons I’m not giving five stars is because Evening meal in the main restaurant - The space just didn’t feel big enough for the amount of guests. The twin beds were really uncomfortable- my fifteen year old son struggled to sleep. We were given an extra duvet so he could lie on it. Despite this we had a lovely time- don’t let the negative reviews put you off!

We visited as a family of 4 at the end of July 2026 (Returned a couple of days ago). We had never visited Turkey before and had been recommended we go by friends. The hotel is large and they have four pools to use - a main pool, slightly smaller and quieter pool, baby pool and slide pool. They are numerous places to eat but unfortunately some of them are a la carte which you have to pay extra for. We arrived later in the evening and went straight to our room - two bedroom apartment (no double bed - two singles pushed together), Fridge was not cold but despite the room being a little rough around the edges to it clean and ready for us. Room was on the far side of the hotel so very quiet - although on a main road so you can always hear the traffic/sirens. Be aware that you are asked to attend a meeting on the first morning - and they ring you EARLY - to check you are attending. Although the rep is very nice it is, of course, a ploy to sell you excursions. The food was good in the main restaurant but it was absolute chaos! There were people everywhere, there was no system to where anything was, staff just couldn’t keep up with demand (despite their very best efforts) and there were queues for everything all the time - coupled with people pushing in it was not an ideal environment to enjoy your evening meal. There needs to be a door in/door out system put in place as everyone enters near the food. The 'snack bar' during the day is very nice - different options each day and much calmer then queuing in the main restaurant. Bar service is great throughout the day (but too slow at night as everyone is going through the one pool bar) and never waited long for a drink at all during the day. Plenty of water available all day too. There are plenty of things to do around the hotel but its all very separate - Older children or teenagers are not generally allowed to take part in the 16+ games that are around the main areas and the kids club is too young for them. The entertainment team were very nice and friendly and I did join in with a few games. The evening entertainment was short lived - It was a show for an hour or so and then done. We enjoyed the stunt show and the circus but everything else was a bit samey. Once we got to 10pm we then had to join the nightly battle with all the other teenagers for the pool tables. For an all inclusive hotel there is alot that you have to pay extra for - trampolines, mini cars, pool zorbing, a la carte restaurants, arcade. The slides are great for the kids - but they are not as big as you would think from the advertising. The hotel is HUGE and, to be honest, I don’t want to get up at 5am on holiday to go and reserve sunbeds so we did end up on the grass everyday - its not ideal as everything gets covered in dead grass and mud and there’s loads of ants - but we just moved forward later in the day when everyone realised getting up at 5am made them tired. We did have a problem with the room and reported to reception - they did come and fix it quickly and we had no more issues. Wifi kept dropping out in some areas but not a massive problem to be honest. We did have a nice time, but I am not sure that I feel I got the value I paid for in some respects.

Very disappointing experience. I was not satisfied with this hotel at all. The rooms were dirty, and the hallways smelled terrible all the time. We paid for an Ultra All Inclusive package, but some drinks, such as Corona beer, were still charged extra, which was very disappointing. The Wi-Fi was very poor and barely worked. Most of the staff were not friendly or welcoming. Overall, this hotel does not deserve its rating. I paid around €5,000 for a 5-day stay, and it was definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again

What a load of rubbish all the negative reviews..this is our second time here and you cant fault the hotel...staff are amazing ..rooms are cleaned daily..drinks get u drunk...entertainment is amazing ...kids club is amazing kids loved it we were a group of 16. Always something goimg on..yes u need to be up.earky for beds but who stays in bed late on holiday get u and enjoy the day..sitting here now on my last night and we are definitely going to miss this place...plenty to do outside too..bars ..restaurant and shops wat more do u want...domt listen to the negative comments ...its cheaper than ones over the road...yes the food isn't amazing but it feeds u till your full...peppermint restaurant is amazing and so cheap..and plenty steak houses outside we recommend terrace steak house ..definitely come bk again..only thing I didnt like was the amount of flies in restaurant but that could be handled with special equipment..
