In-depth review worth the read AIRPORT-Arriving at the airport and finding the shuttle was not great as they just gave us a shuttle number and sent us out to the car park and there was hundreds of coaches it was like finding a needle in a hay stack ! They should really tell you a bay it’s in as there are rows from a-f but found it in the end they are not very good with information out here you need to ask a lot to find out what you need but only took about 20 mins from airport they are only little mini busses so not a lot of drops like a normal coach HOTEL-The hotel is amazing but I will say when you book don’t book the Anex as it is apartments behind the hotel book the main building but we made that mistake but we asked to upgrade to the main building that cost 20€ per night extra for the room not per person ! You get a fridge in your room that is refilled everyday for free it’s not extra cost it’s included you get soft drinks and beers and bottled water ! And the beds are the best they are so comfortable there like padded memory foam I love them 😍 HOTEL-The food is nice lots to eat there are 2 restaurants on site also but extra charge per person for sitting you have access to the wet and wild park only a short walk over the road or a mini bus every 5-10 mins they have hairdressers and tattoo parlor on site and the Starbucks is included but get in line rely as it gets busy! They have night entertainment every night and it’s been great they have a kids mini disco dance along with the entertainment crew before the shows also you will have a letter on your door the next day for a meeting this is just with a holiday rep to sell you excursions it dose say safety information but it’s not but I did book the land of ledgends you get transfur there and back it’s worth it if you have kids but only 2 big adult rides SHOPPING- if you like a shop then on site there are shops but bit pricy not to much but if you want your goods head out of the hotel and turn right and walk for like 10-20 minutes you will have all the BAZAARS (markets) they are worth the walk and the quality is amazing I would suggest travel light because you will shop till you drop! You can haggle most shops will have the same so walk away and look elsewhere were come back and then say oh they had the same but for less and they will try Match the price most of the money they deal with is euros but you can pay in lira or uk money they willl take anything really. Everyone is very friendly also there are cats here and they have kittens too so it’s very nice they don’t bother you they walk around there not affectionate they won’t want cuddles they will ignore you !

Amazing hotel and staff !! Kids loved the pools and slides . I have to say the best part of the hotel for us as a family of 3 , was guest services . Friendly efficient and all round nice people . Special mention to paniz , Duran , Elmira . Helped us have a fantastic holiday . Couldn’t thank them enough ! Will definitely be visiting again soon

Long review but honest Very disappointed with our stay at Aska Lara Resort & Spa. Guest Services During a 10 day stay our air conditioning broke, after multiple calls and visits to "guest services" nothing was done about this until I requested to move room. First we were moved to a room with only one bed, after discussing with reception the need for two beds and a cot to accommodate our children, we were moved to another room which ultimately was too noisy right above the brasserie so moved again to the 3rd floor in the atrium section (big mistake, very very loud). Low and behold our air conditioning was set to heating mode (22° outside) We had the ping pong situation of dealing with technicians apparently coming out to fix this to only be told on the last visit that the air conditioning is set centrally so the customer has no choice over hot or cold in the room, for the last two days of the holiday it remained on cold. Due to these issues we were given "complimentary" late check out 15:00 instead of 12:00, day of check out we were contacted by WhatsApp call at 13:30, simply saying check out is at 12:00, when are you coming down? I explained that late check out was given, no response phone down. Upon getting back to the room we were locked out as nobody explained the key card had to be updated, guest services explained to us like idiots that this is normal "did you not know that?" No why would I. To make up for all the issues we were offered a bottle of champagne up to the room, great idea at first though when it finally arrived it was "artificial semi-sparkling white wine", guest services liked to argue the fact over WhatsApp with me that it translated to champagne in Turkish... All it was was the same they serve at the bar.. Thanks for this kind gesture in an all inclusive hotel! I messaged to say we were struggling to vacate the room for 15:00 given all the issues though sure enough at 15:05 cleaners were in, bags were in the corridor and reception came up to "make sure we were out the room" Honestly! Main restaurant Chaotic and bad design, can't get moving for people getting food as the entrance and exit foot fall is straight through the main buffet section which was a bit of a nightmare Staff All staff bar 2 or 3 at the bars and dining were very miserable in my opinion, no apology from reception at all regarding room issues and very argumentative, only one apology from guest services supervisor as we said we hadn't had any apology during all the issues, ship had sailed by that point. Cleaning Every time I went to the main pool toilet or garden bar toilet there was urine all over the floor, more said for customers making the mess though not routinely checked and cleaned by staff, room cleaners were excellent though found it funny the note under the bed saying "we even clean here too" covered in dust right enough. Entertainment Generally good though kids mini disco only lasts around 15 minutes, be good to see this a bit longer. Food Can be big queues though good quality and replenished in good time Water park Really good, good range of pools and activities though found a lot of people being injured due to extremely slippy tiles (even with shoes on) We pushed the boat out to go here given the reviews but wish we hadn't, generally a very exhausting time and a holiday ruined with room issues and "guest services" If you happen to get a good room with no problems you would be fine, as long as you don't find yourself at reception or guest services.

Abysmal!. ###DO NOT GO HERE### Reception has zero customer service Guest services below average We had numerous problems with air con in our room. Asked to move rooms and there was only a double bed (we are a family of 4) 3rd room we moved to had sufficient enough beds. Again air con broken. Numerous trips to Jet2 and Guest services to resolve problem. Remained unsolved until 2 days before check.out of our 10 day stay. We got offered late check out for.our inconvenience . 1pm we received a phone call from Reception "are you coming down" late check out was 3pm. 1.15 we arrived at Guest services to sort our problems and to relay our utter disappointment. 🫴 champagne for our inconvenience again asked for late check out. Got to the room to have a text stating high occupancy no.late check out. "Champagne arrived" to.which was artificial semi sparkling white wine. The stuff they serve at the all inclusive hotel. Not an apology or compensation. Absolutely flabbergasted with this hotel. It is not 5 star! Poor room standard finishing as well. Housekeeping fantastic so clean but maintaining the room extremely poor. Extremely disappointed and extremely unsatisfied. ###Stay well clear#### Wet & Wild water park; tiles extremely slippery. 3 people broke their arm 2 people broke their feet and one boy split his face open! Hazerdous! Save yourself £3k and book another resort.

Just a quick review as this is our third trip to Aska Lara which is pretty unprecedented for us, and I think speaks loud enough to how highly valued the hotel, its staff and the amenities are. Lovely food and drinks, excellent entertainment for our kids including the holiday club, water slides for all ages, loads of pools and the rooms are modern and well maintained. A special thanks for the staff at the Leo kids club. They have made this such a great experience for the kids (and allowed us as parents to have some relaxing time!). Every day exciting activities and seeing my 4 and 7 year old marching round the complex dressed as pirates chanting “we are pirates, we want sugar” was an absolute highlight. They really do engage the kids and I want hotel management to know how hard they work and how much it’s appreciated. Thank you ladies.
