Hotel Aska Lara Resort Spa

I went with my 2 teenage adult kids…. We had booked interconnected main building room. Upgraded to a room with jacuzzi but the interconnected had roll out single beds that squeaked so badly couldn’t lie on them, my daughter slept on sofa. Food was excellent - especially the grill behind the buffet. Housekeeping ok…. Entertainment crap for adults….wet & wild is just geared for kids. Cocktails crap that sugary syrup stuff. Starbucks inclusive long queue unless get there lunchtime. Pools lovely but it was so very busy, plenty of beds but towels down by 9am or won’t get a bed. Late checkout was non existent even though my kids autistic. Receptionist was grumpy and rude. Something others have said too. All in all, the hotel has everything but it’s really very busy, if you are a couple or have adult children then go elsewhere.

Everything is excellent to be honest , I been in Turkey before but I never had fun like that before all activities and night shows, after shows with dancers everything was amazing with this entertainment team , my child had fun as well in mini club there is so many activities for kids cookie days pizza days great activities . Everything is clean in hotel and everyone have smile on their face we will absolutely come back

We stayed her from 9th - 21st May as a party of 6 (2 adults children aged 12 and 9) and grandparents. This was our first time in Turkey, we have had friends stay at this hotel so booked on their recommendation. It did not disappoint, we absolutely LOVED Turkey and the hotel however I do have a few points. I had emailed ahead to check what facilities would be open as not everything was operational with it not quite being their peak season. Restaurant wise we were unable to attend the steakhouse which I was advised via the live chat before arrival would be open so that was a VERY SLIGHT disappointment, we attended the Asian and it was AMAZING so made up for it! The food in this hotel is exceptional so much choice and so fresh we were never without! the starbucks is a treat (just be prepared to queue :) ) We booked the beach cabana's twice (I would have booked every day if I could have!) We also took the boat trip around the coast to the waterfalls and to sea swim with Turtles - the highlight of our trip was absolutely something else. We are a family who like to run early in the morning, the area isn't the best for that but we managed to find a few areas to go. The staff are all extremely helpful and always smiling, Tarkan and the water slide staff made my kids holiday! The place is also very clean staff constantly picking up and recycling . The massage staff around the pool did become slightly annoying at times - I think we were asked 8 times in one hour by the same man - we were always polite but felt it was a bit much. My only downside was when we checked in(late at night).As a family of 4 we are used to having all types of room set ups but this was probably our most disappointing. The room was only made up for 3 of us. I did got to reception who were great thye advised us to get some food, and quickly set up a bed for my son, however it was not even a proper bed, it was crushed in beside me meaning I was unable to get out of my side and had to get out via the bottom. It wasn't until on day 5 this was changed by a maid - much better. I am not one to complain so we just put up with it. The standard rooms do not have as much storage as we are used to in hotels in other counties - we had to put 2 of our cases to my parents room. I had also emailed to ask for rooms close together on the off chance this was available but sadly there was nothing they could do (again we do understand it isn't always possible but we like to try). Despite this we loved the hotel so much and cannot wait to come back. We are planning on coming back just the 4 of us without grandparents in October this year. (Hopefully the room will be a bit better) Thank you once again for an amazing holiday!

Kids club has been great, my 3 year old has really enjoyed it even with her being really shy she’s got involved and felt comfortable at the mini disco and activities!
