Hotel Meryan

We stayed at the Meryan the 1st week in August 2026 and had a lovely break. Oh thoughts Airport Arrival - we booked a transfer because the journey was over an hour to the hotel. Arriving at the hotel We arrived early hours of the morning, tired and hungry. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they have food available 24hrs and we were able to have something quick before going to the room The room Our room was small but functional. It had everything we needed. The beds are quite hard, only one blanket to use on double bed which just fit so I spare would have been useful. However, we never asked for another but I'm sure the hotel would have given us one if we had. A few drinks in the mini fridge are replenished daily. We had a limited sea view room - but we were really happy with the amount of sea we could see and the pool area. Our biggest disappointment was the TV - we like to have it on when in the room- the only English channel was the news. Most were Turkish (obvs fine) or German dubbed over English. A few more English channels wouldn't go a miss. Food We felt there was a great selection every day. As a fussy eater, I never had any issues finding something - and actually there were lots of options. The deserts were ace although they could have been cut in two as they were huge. Always fresh breads and typical all inclusive ranges of fruits, salads and cold meats. There were many themed nights - Turkish was by far our favourite. Pools There are 2 larger pools and 2 smaller ones. The largest had most of the entertainment. The next largest was next to the slides which is where we spent most of our time. The pools were clean and well maintained. They were refreshingly cold but soon adjusted. With 40° weather, the coolness of the water was a blessing. Beach We never spent time on the beach, just at the pool. The beach is quite pebbly so I would suggest water shoes. The pier was great and we loved jumping in sea from it. There is unfortunately a lot of drifting rubbish (very sad to see). Maybe some removal of this by staff would make it a better experience. But it was still lovely all the same. Cleanliness The hotel was immaculate. Every area was cleaned throughout the day. Staff The staff were amazing. I have a lot to be thankful for - on day 3 I left my phone on a local bus. After 24 hrs and with the help of the hotel Relations lady and the bazaar man, I was able to locate it. A huge shout out to these 2! Definitely recommend the Pirate boat trip - don't book through Tui though as they are expensive - use www.viator.com. we paid the same for 3 that Tui wanted for 1 person. Overall, this hotel was great and for the price, amazing! Don't listen to the haters - this was a great hotel to stay.

This was our second visit to the Meryan and it even surpassed our first. The place is spotless, the food is amazing and the deserts buffet is simply fabulous, the selection even includes baklava which is so delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, uniforms immaculate. The selection of cocktails and drinks is just 'wow' and at three o'clock in the cafe you can even have home made waffles! I think the superb quality of the hotel is mainly down to the General Manager Mr Torun who walks round the place all day, he chats to everyone, is one hell of a guy and runs the place with a magic touch, its a dream. Right down to the fabulous entertainment, beautiful beach, huge crystal clear pool and rooms that lack nothing. Glowing white bedding and towels, bath robes and slippers, lovely toiletries and for the ladies a really good hairdryer. It's a beautiful hotel and im looking forward to visit no.3

This was our 2nd visit and it did not disappoint! We had the most amazing week and couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel is amazing, clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly, helpful and can’t do enough. The entertainment team are the absolute best, they work so hard, always fun, welcoming and made our holiday experience what it was. To mention a few, Alana, Josef, Alyssa,Nodo, DJ, Kate they went over and beyond to talk with us, get us involved and just making our stay the best! Thank you to all the animation team for all your hard work you made the holiday amazing! Food is great, so much choice! Cocktails are great and bar staff are friendly and working hard. Pool, beach everything is amazing! Loved every minute of this holiday and did not want to leave! Definitely going back soon!

Booked 24 hours before arrival as a last minute deal, boy, we landed on our feet! Hotel is spectacular! Ultra all inclusive means no wrist bands, branded alcohol, food 7am til very late. 24 hour bar, amazing bar staff...Hulya, Mesut, Mahmut looked after us both all week, they are a lovely team. Lots of cocktails to try, I tried most 🤭 Rooms are really nice, beds comfortable, walk in shower, big wardrobes, large TV but only 3 English news channels, no films. Good aircon and WiFi is great all around the resort even at the beach, so no need to bring Mifi box or e-sim. Food was a bit hit and miss, I enjoyed the KFC strips one lunch time. The Turkey Pide was enjoyable from the Panorama restaurant and the Gozleme made right in front of you was also delicious and the lady making them was adorable. Service in restaurant for drinks was pretty bad, only on our last lunch did we get asked if we would like drinks by a guy called Bekir. But they seemed to be serving drinks so not sure why we were not approached? Cafe has cakes, biscuits, waffles doughnut balls in syrup but everything we tried tasted the same, no flavour to all those pretty cakes, please add some sugar to your cakes! Iced coffee wasnt good either. Pool bar was only interested in making glamorous cocktails for you if you were in your 20s wearing a bikini, mine were so strong, chucked together in basic glasses, whereas others were in cocktail glasses with adornments. Stuck to beer! Beach was okay, sand gets super hot tho, shoreline is pebbles and difficult in bare feet, painfulll, so bring scuba shoes. Cleaners do not speak English and it was hard to speak with them. Bag shop in the reception area, prices are marked, but overpriced, I know they want you to haggle, but I hate that. Chanel bags were €55. Late checkout cost us €50 until 5pm Transfer was almost 2 hours. If you want shopping, turn right out of reception and walk about 15/20 minutes past all the hotels and you come to a bit called thevOutlet, plenty of bags, trainers, tshirts ect

Need more kid options like it’s all cold burnt and the only good option in here is chips
