Hotel Meryan

I stayed at the Meryan Hotel for the first time for 10 days at the end of May, and I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is clean and offers a wide variety of high-quality food. The resort itself is very well-sized and not excessively large, as is often the case with many five-star hotels. As a result, the distances between the beach, the pool, and the various restaurants are very convenient and comfortable. The pool is very clean, and the sea is definitely a great way to cool off when the weather gets warmer. All of the guests we met during our stay seemed very satisfied and friendly, which made participating in the activities especially enjoyable. The hotel offers a wide range of daily activities, all of which are well organized and led by the entertainment team. I participated in many of these activities on my own and had absolutely no trouble meeting and interacting with other guests. The entertainment team is always approachable and enhances the overall hotel experience with their friendly and positive attitude. They put a lot of effort into their work, which is especially noticeable during the evening shows and events. There is a well-organized entertainment program in the evenings and sometimes even during the day, similar to what you would expect from other quality resorts. If I had to mention any drawbacks, I would say that the lighting in the hotel room was a bit too dim for my liking. The pebble beach may also take some getting used to, but it is certainly not something I would strongly criticize. I can highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return in the future. Finally, I would like to thank the entertainment team once again for making my stay even more enjoyable and memorable.

Hotel Review Our stay at this hotel was truly outstanding in every way. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the staff highly professional. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms beautifully maintained. The hotel was incredibly generous with everything, making our experience both relaxing and memorable. Svenska Hotellet var helt suveränt på alla sätt. Maten var mycket god, servicen utmärkt och personalen professionell. Allt var rent och välskött, sängarna bekväma och rummen fina. Dessutom var hotellet otroligt generöst med allt, vilket gjorde vistelsen både avkopplande och minnesvärd.

Meryan hotel was absolutely outstanding in every way after having to postpon our holiday for 18 months due to health issues it was such a relief to finally get there and we enjoyed every minute the staff were all so helpful and the food and drink was all brilliant going back in October

We had a really great stay at Meryan Hotel. The food was excellent with a very wide and varied selection every day, so everyone could find something they liked. The pool was absolutely sufficient and always clean. The waiters were very professional, friendly, and hardworking. The drinks were good, and even the beer surprised me in a positive way — I honestly did not expect it to be that good. Everyone in the hotel was smiling and welcoming. What I especially want to highlight is the amazing work of the animation team, especially Alena, Nodo, and DJ Junior. They are incredibly kind, friendly, and funny people who truly made the atmosphere special. They were constantly making jokes, creating entertainment for everyone, and involving all guests in activities, no matter the age. Honestly, they deserve much more appreciation for their work. I also really liked that some animators spent the whole day taking care of children in the kids’ club, which is great for families and shows how much effort the hotel puts into guests having a good experience. Overall, I leave this hotel with very positive feelings and I would definitely come back again. Slivovica!

I really wanted to like this hotel but around every corner the was yet another reason why this hotel should not have 5 stars. First of all the staff is rude. I was sitting at the restaurant in the shade because I am disabled and needed to rest, at this point I had been sitting there for 30 minutes when someone comes and tells me I needed to leave because someone wanted this table. When I said “but i’m sitting here” they said another guest wants to sit at this table so they get it over me and I had to leave. It’s like this all over the restaurant and bars. Reserved tables everywhere for guests who will pay for it. Next to that there are ants everywhere getting in food and drinks, the drinks are very watered down and the food is kinda bland. The pool chairs and umbrellas are broken and have holes in them. The entertainment is good except that again all front two row tables are all reserved for the rich people. They don’t have enough tables for all guests so if you’re too late you can’t sit, this both at the bar for evening entertainment and during the day with pool chairs. They say saving chairs with towels is not allowed but they don’t do anything about it. A woman came to sit next to me at 10 am, left 4 towels on 4 chairs and they came back in the evening. All day long those chairs were not used and towels were not removed. Almost no one from the staff speaks English either. Just not a great experience. Servers will ignore you and prioritize guests who “look” like they have money, who tip them or who have the reserves table. We were literally ignored for so long. The mini bar is in the price and gets refilled everyday. They “forgot” to fill ours twice. Just too many small experiences that ruined the overall mood. Most of these things should not be happening at a 5 stars hotel.
