Hotel Ramada Resort Lara

Stayed here over Christmas. It has good points and a couple of negative. Food fantastic and very helpful friendly staff. Rooms are very small, we thought the showers were very dangerous especially for the older folk like us, as no grip in the shower base and we had to use the bath mat inside the shower. Going outside to get to the indoor pool then back inside to change was a problem also

We went in August and it was one of the best family holidays we have been on. On arrival we got upgraded toa family suite which made our stay even more comfortable with the spacious room. Our kids 5 and 2 had the best time and want to go back again. The facilities and cleanliness were perfect. We had slight cleaning issue for first two days as I felt the shower was not properly cleaned however, Ramada sent a review form on my phone, and I mentioned it and from then on it was spotless. Not only they actioned our problem but to compensate they offered a late check out which really helped us with our late flight. The food was spectacular especially as vegetarians sometimes it can be bit challenging, however Ramada catered very well for vegetarians. Even when there was a sushi night, we thought there would not be any options for vegetarians, however there was plenty of vegetarian sushi along with the rest of the buffet. We were never short of delicious food as vegetarians. Plus, there was unlimited fresh food, snacks and Gozlemes throughout the day. The fresh pizza by the beach was a great hit. The only problem was the ice cream was not available until 12pm and for dessert after dinners which disappointed the kids. We did not visit any of the restaurants as they did not seem to have many options for vegetarians, however with such great buffet there was no need to go elsewhere. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids. The walk to the beach is only 6 minutes but the shuttle bus was always available and never had to wait too long. The aqua pool on the beach part was fantastic the kids could not get enough of it, and the pool also was amazing they had great games and entertainment. The best part was in the afternoon when the hotel was serving watermelon on the beach which was perfect to cool down in the afternoon heat. The staff were all friendly and always available to help. Would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again as it was worth every bit.

Two weeks before our holiday I had an operation for a broken pelvis.The hotel staff were marvellous and gave me a large disabled room (instead of the room booked) and put my son in the room next to me and our friend close by.They made sure I was well cared for. All the staff were attentive and very helpful. The hotel is very clean. There was a good selection of food. Maybe a bit repetitive if staying more than 7nights. Shame the weather was bad. We did have a couple of sunny lunch times when we enjoyed the outdoor snack bar. We enjoyed our free evening in the Italian restaurant.The hairdresser is very good.My son and friend enjoyed their massages. Because I was in a wheelchair we got transport from the Hotel to Kaleici (Old Town). and back.The driver was very good and helped us. Guest relations were amazing we had an issue. It was dealt with straight away. Our recommendations were asked for,and have been taken on board.

Had a Xmas 2025 stay. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. It rained all week which spoilt the holiday but that was out of everyone’s hands. We caught the bus to Marc Antalya and had a nice day doing some Retail therapy. The highlight of the stay was the spa in the hotel. A special shout out to Baksen and the team who helped to cater treatments around the entire family, even managing to convince my husband to try a massage. The spa team were friendly and the massages were amazing. I really enjoyed the tea and the other little touches at the spa. The hamam and treatments made our stay pleasant and took our minds off the awful weather. If you stay at this hotel, I would strongly recommend the spa. Ask to speak to Baksen for a tailored programme.
