Reception & Arrival Check-in was straightforward; however, the information provided on arrival could be more comprehensive. Guests are asked to scan a QR code containing hotel information rather than receiving a detailed explanation of the facilities and services available. We only discovered through other guests that hotel guests have access to an additional pool and water slides located at the beach area, as well as a pizza restaurant nearby. It would have been helpful for this information to be clearly explained during check-in. Guest Relations The Guest Relations team were excellent throughout our stay. They were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. This is where guests can make reservations for the à la carte restaurants, arrange birthday celebrations, and seek assistance with any concerns or requests. Their customer service was outstanding. Pools, Water Slides & Lifeguards The pool facilities were enjoyable, and guests are permitted to use inflatables in the pool. Pool towels can be exchanged daily, which was convenient. The pool water was a comfortable temperature and not excessively cold. The water slides operate at scheduled times throughout the day. Unfortunately, our experience with the lifeguards was disappointing. Several appeared unhelpful and at times came across as rude to both adults and children. Requests for assistance with umbrellas or sunbeds were declined, with one lifeguard stating that this was not part of their role. Sunbeds are in high demand, particularly during peak season. We reserved ours around 7:00am each day, and by 10:00am there were usually none available. Entertainment & Beach Facilities The entertainment team provided a good range of activities and were engaging and interactive with guests. There was no daytime entertainment on Sundays, but overall the entertainment programme was enjoyable. Activities are also available at the beach area. A complimentary shuttle bus operates between the hotel and beach from 8:00am until midnight. The beach area also features one of the hotel’s à la carte restaurants (Turkish cuisine), and beach towels can be collected there as well. There were always plenty of sunbeds available at the beach, making it a relaxing alternative to the main pool area. Food & Dining Chinese À La Carte Restaurant This was our favourite dining experience during our stay. As we do not eat beef, the restaurant kindly substituted chicken instead. They also surprised my son with a birthday cake, which was a lovely gesture. The food was excellent, although the portion sizes were relatively small. Mexican À La Carte Restaurant The Mexican restaurant was enjoyable and offered good food. However, dietary substitutions were not possible as many dishes were prepared in advance. This restaurant is located outdoors at the neighbouring hotel. Main Restaurant & Snack Bar The main buffet restaurant and snack bar offered a wide variety of food, including a dedicated children’s buffet and vegetarian options. Food items were labelled, although some were simply marked as “meat” without specifying the type, which could be improved. One area that could be enhanced is communication. Some chefs and bar staff had limited English, which occasionally made interactions difficult. Cleanliness The hotel is generally maintained to a very high standard. The housekeeping staff work extremely hard, and our room was cleaned thoroughly each day. The room attendants were always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant cleaning staff also deserve recognition for their hard work and efficiency. However, the pool cleaning team were less impressive. On one occasion, a cleaner accidentally knocked over my child with a cleaning trolley and did not apologise. We also noticed tables near sunbeds being moved abruptly to access bins, which could be handled more carefully. Rooms Our family room was spacious and comfortable for a family of four, featuring a double bed, single bed, and fold-out bed. The bathroom was also generously sized and included a shower and hairdryer. The minibar was restocked daily with drinks, which was appreciated. As a thoughtful touch, the hotel decorated our room for my son’s birthday, making the occasion feel special. We had a room overlooking the shopping area. Although we had requested a pool-view room, this request was unfortunately not accommodated. Location The hotel’s location is excellent. The beach is within walking distance, although the shuttle service is available for those who prefer not to walk. There are numerous shops on both sides of the hotel, offering plenty of choice without overly aggressive sales tactics. We felt completely safe walking around the area in the evenings with our family. Excursions The tour representative at the hotel was helpful and knowledgeable. We visited Land of Legends for approximately £40 for a family of four. I would highly recommend visiting in the evening, particularly if you are not planning to use the theme park or water park. The free evening show, which starts around 9:30pm, was spectacular and well worth seeing. We also took a trip to Antalya Old Town. The driver was excellent, and it was interesting to explore the historic area. While the old town itself is beautiful, we found the shopping options to be very similar to those available around the hotel. Overall Experience Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday at Ramada Lara Beach Resort in June 2026 and would happily return in the future. The weather was fantastic, the pool temperature was comfortable, and the location was ideal for evening walks. Despite a few areas that could be improved, particularly communication during check-in and the attitude of some lifeguards, the hotel offers excellent value, good facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere for families. Rating: 4/5 A great family-friendly resort with excellent guest relations, good food options, a fantastic location, and plenty of facilities for both adults and children.
I think everything was amazing. The hotel is nice and pretty. There's a lot of free food and entrainment. I didn't like that Internet was really bad.
We have just arrived home from a 10 night stay at the Wyndham and had an amazing holiday. We arrived about 8pm on our first night, checking into room and went for dinner. We decided to get an early night as everyone was tired however when we got back to the room it was quite loud as our room overlooked the main stage area. My wife went to reception to as if we could move and before she even got back we had a call to say if ready they would move us. We ended up going to the other side of the building which was much better. I appreciate this isn’t always possible due to room availability however it was great customer service. If you do want a quieter room perhaps just email the hotel before coming out here. There are 2 pools in each hotel but they are basically the same. The water is a bit cold (but fine once in), and the slides are really fun. There is another pool at the beach which is warmer, and there’s a lot more going on there. It also has a bigger children’s water area and more slides. Sunbed wise there are generally available even if you get to pool later than the crack of dawn however if you can’t find one just ask the staff and they will bring you some. Note there is much more room around the beach pool and as a family we preferred it down there. The animation team are lovely, and they deserve a lot of credit for making the holiday so great for the children. The staff in general are very friendly and hard working. There are various à la carte restaurants, we used the Italian and Mexican, both really good. I thought in terms of value for money it was great.
The hotel is situated close to lots of shops the beach is a 10 minute walk or the hotel provides a shuttle bus every 15 minutes and the choice of food is excellent and the staff can not do enough for you,me and my partner are coming back next your with her son partner and the 3 grandkids as they will love the water slides on the complex.
Thought hotel was ok food choices could have been better from an uk perspective no complaints about room and we asked for extension which we had at no extra cost
