We had a fantastic holiday here with friends and our teenage boys. We’ve visited many Turkey hotels on Side and Belek and this definitely was up there with the others! The entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant and included our boys in all activities. The walk to the beach and beach bar was something we all looked forward to mid afternoon for some sundowners. The food at the pool bar is exceptional and the best selection we’ve had staying in a Turkish resort. Can’t fault it. Also, the themed restaurants were amazing, we’ve visited everyone during our stay. Our family rooms had sufficient storage, was clean and a great size. This hotel was cheaper than others we’ve stayed in but it didn’t compromise on the quality we’ve been used to. Overall we can’t fault this hotel it was superb value for money. Highly recommend

We were delighted with this hotel back in September, which is why we returned for 10 days this April. Unfortunately, it was a massive mistake. The beach was supposed to be sandy and beautiful, but in reality, it was covered in stones. My husband cut his foot because we weren't prepared for such conditions. This is a clear sign of management's negligence, as the neighboring hotel managed to clear their beach in a single day. The food was another major letdown. Despite the "All Inclusive Plus" 24h promise, the Night Bistro was a joke—no meat, no fries, just cold leftovers. For a 5-star hotel, this is shameful. The main restaurant was monotonous, and the lack of fresh fruit (during peak season!) was a scandal. For 10 days, we were stuck with just oranges, apples, and pears. Positives and Detailed Observations: Staff: The waitstaff in the main restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. À la carte restaurants: The service here was outstanding—my family and I felt truly taken care of. While the food is good, it’s a pity the menu hasn’t changed in 6 months, and they swapped sake for rakija to cut costs. Cleanliness: For 6 days a week, an older lady cleaned our room very thoroughly, and we are grateful for her work. However, on Sundays, the room is cleaned by different staff, and the decline in quality is shocking. The room remained dirty (toilets, mirrors, floors); it was clear they were rushing and didn't care about their work. Desserts: Although the variety was limited, the cheesecakes were delicious. Unfortunately, Guest Relations ignored our request to replace a leaking kettle for our entire stay. We felt disappointed and cheated. We will not be returning to Side Star Resort and cannot recommend it. Our first task upon returning to England was going to the supermarket to buy the fresh fruit we missed so much.

Stayed with family in a family room & understand what has been said about air conditioning but it could be uncomfortable some nights . The beds are comfortable but I would suggest a larger duvet to fit the bigger bed as the one we had was much too small . Food was as you expect in an all inclusive, you will never go hungry as there is always something to eat . The hotel is spotless . My only issue is the cats , I know they are probably there for a reason but there were so many & inside the hotel as well , some people like them but I don’t think they should be allowed in the public areas & while requested not to feed them people were . We enjoyed our holiday very much & would go back even with the freezing pool

I’d rate this hotel between a 3 and 4 rather than 5-star. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean, and majority of the staff we encountered were lovely. However, there were a few issues that affected our stay. We arrived late evening as a family of three and were first shown to a room with only two beds, then another with the same issue. After waiting quite a while in reception (near midnight) we were taken back to the same room with an extra bed added, which wasn’t ideal after a long journey. I spoke to the manager about changing rooms and was told to return the next day. When I did, I was told he wasn’t working Sunday, and I didn’t want to wait until Monday as it would mean not unpacking and possibly not being able to move, so this wasn’t resolved. The pool slides only operate at certain times, leaving children waiting. The beach bar doesn’t serve cocktails, and dinner is 7–9pm, which feels late for a family hotel. Unsure if the reason one of our party felt a bit ill due to an uncooked sausage at breakfast. The hotel is a bit far from the main area of Side, though there is a bus stop outside (€2.50 each way). Late checkout isn’t guaranteed, we were asked to check at 9am on departure day, but it was not available. There are pros and cons to this hotel.
