We are just finishing an 11 night stay at the Terrace Elite Resort, having stayed between 13th and 24th July. We are two adults and a 15 year old son. The hotel is generally quite clean, modern and bright in appearance. The layout is easy to follow and makes sense. Our room (1304) is supposedly a Superior Double (at a paid supplement). I have no idea what makes it different to the Standard Double our friends are in. It is supposed to have a private balcony, the only thing that makes it private is that it overlooks the back of the hotel with nothing to see.. even if it were a better view, it is far too hot to use for anything other than drying clothes.. don't waste your money on an upgrade! The actual room is nice enough. Very good aircon, separate drench shower room, comfortable beds with decent quality towels and sheets. The decor is clean, fresh and bright. Housekeeping has been good throughout. Soundproofing is poor.. expect to hear every slammed door as if it's you own. The pool area is nice with a big open-plan lagoon, and smaller slide area. The area is generally clean and well maintained. There are a good number of sunbeds and parasols but still not enough to go around. Accepting we travelled during the beginning of peak UK school holiday season, after 7am and you would be very lucky to get anything. Drinks are decent and available from a number of bars. The only significant queues were at the pool bar, but staff worked hard to get through the queue as quickly as they could. The hotel's beach is a two minute shuttle away and the shuttle runs every couple of minutes. The beach and Beach Bar are nice, but be aware of the very stoney entrance to the sea which could be off-putting - beach shoes of some sort are recommended. There are some shops within walking distance selling the normal holiday stuff, other than that and other hotels, there isn't much nearby. There are a mix of nationalities at the hotel - don't expect a British majority but all nationalities are catered for throughout. Smoking is allowed in all outside areas, including the restaurant. It is a long time since I have experienced quite such a smokey general atmosphere. The Animation Team provide a good daytime programme of activities. Evening entertainment is a mix of outside artists and Animation Team productions. Some of it is better than others, but to be fair, they are catering for a wide range of customers and it is much better than I have seen at some other comparable hotels in recent years. The evening entertainment is near to the pool area and finding seats can be a challenge, with some people watching the entertainment from sunbeds due to a lack of tables and chairs. Due to the nature of the pool area, it can still be wet and slippery even later in the evening. Reception are very efficient in our limited experience. We only needed some extra pillows and to report a broken hairdryer - both resolved in minutes. The gym is a basement room without working air-conditioning. It contains a few basic resistance machines and free weights, and a couple of cardio machines that don't have displays that work properly, if at all. All of the equipment is aged and clunky at best. Food is generally of a good quality in the main buffet restaurant at breakfast and evening dinner. There is a vast range of food choices, the only problem is a lack of rotation or variance from one day to the next and it did start to feel very samey quite quickly. Theme nights didn't really affect this as writing the name of the theme on the same dishes that are there every night doesn't make it taste different! I found lunch disappointing. If you like nuggets, burgers, pizza and chips, you will be fine in the Pool Corner. The other option is theTerrace Restaurant. It offers an extensive and impressive salad option, but in my opinion relatively little to go with it. Most days butterfly chicken (all bones no chicken) or whole on-the-bone fish dominated - just wasn't my taste I'm afraid. The food is fresh and hot until thoughtless guests leave the lids off the servery. One of our friends has recently discovered that she is gluten intolerant. On our arrival at the hotel it became apparent that there was no provision for any food intolerance, but I have to applaud the hotel's response once they were made aware. Within 24 hours they made arrangements for her to be made fresh gluten free pancakes for breakfast and pasta at her requests at lunch and dinner. Making such an effort to meet the needs of one individual guest was both impressive and appreciated. Evening meals are made or lost to an extent by which staff are looking after your table. We were lucky enough to encounter Jasurbek relatively early in our holiday - he is an absolute diamond. He made sure our tables were clean, drinks replenished and cutlery changed. He is a credit to the hotel. We experienced other staff that were less impressive to say the least. Overall I would say this a is a good rather than excellent hotel but does represent reasonable value for money.
This is a very clean and friendly hotel . The staff are all very helpful . The animation staff are excellent , and they all make you feel very welcome . The restaurant has a very good choice of food , including the pool bar . The activities during the day keep the children entertained. And the evening shows are very good and entertaining. I would very much recommend this excellent hotel .
We're just about to leave the resort after a weeks stay as a family and we've had a brilliant time. The food was brilliant, always something to choose from, the animation team were always at hand throughout the day/night at the hotel and the beach, the air con in the rooms was fantastic and also no noise at all even from the entertainment in the rooms. They were also cleaned daily and very comfortable. All in all a fantastic holiday and such good value for the price we paid. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We was in Terrace Elite resort second time. Nothing change since that time. It is the best hotel to spend time with family.
We had a lovely stay at Terrace Elite Resort, Turkey, and overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with great entertainment and friendly staff. The highlight of our holiday was without a doubt the animation team, especially Mike and Mimi. They were absolutely amazing from the first day until the last. They always made the effort to include everyone in the daytime activities without ever being pushy. They constantly checked that we were enjoying ourselves, were always smiling, and genuinely felt more like friends than hotel staff by the end of our holiday. The daytime activities were great fun, and the evening entertainment was excellent with plenty to watch and get involved in. A huge thank you to Mike and Mimi—they truly made our holiday a 10/10. The hotel itself has plenty of positives. The swimming pool was fantastic, with lots of space to relax. The hotel was kept very clean throughout our stay, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lobby bar staff and the outside bar staff were excellent, always providing quick and friendly service. In the restaurant the BEST waiter in the restaurant was Serkan. He was absolutely amazing! He is always happy and so hard working. He definitely needs a special mention! Thank you so much Serkan. Ozkan was also very good in the dinner restaurant. The food was generally good. Breakfast had plenty of choice every morning, and the lunchtime food was consistently enjoyable. The best dinner food was Turkish night 10/10.The shuttle bus to the beach was reliable and convenient, making it easy to get to and from the beach. The hotel is also in a great location, close to both the beach and local shops, so everything is within easy reach. A special mention also goes to the gentleman serving drinks on roller skates around the pool. He worked incredibly hard, was always polite, and his service was outstanding. He really deserves recognition for the effort he puts in. Also Fatih in the lobby bar is very funny and great with guests, always making people laugh. There were a few areas that could be improved. The evening dinner was quite inconsistent—some nights it was very good, while other nights it was disappointing. The desserts at dinner looked varied but all seemed to taste very similar. We were also disappointed that the speciality restaurants were not open during our stay, despite the hotel website stating that they would be available. We also found out that they charge €25 per person and had to book in advance. The food did not have many labels, for example the desserts and cold food didn’t have any labels which was difficult for my family as we had allergies. Most of the hot food did. Unfortunately, we also had a poor experience at the spa. During my massage, the therapist actually fell asleep while giving the treatment. The same thing happened to my sister later that same day, even after we had already informed the spa manager about my experience. This was very disappointing and is something that definitely needs to be addressed. Despite these issues, we had a fantastic holiday overall. The cleanliness of the hotel, friendly staff, great facilities, excellent entertainment, and especially the incredible animation team made our stay memorable. Mike and Mimi went above and beyond every single day and are a huge credit to the hotel. Overall, I would happily recommend Terrace Elite Resort and would consider returning in the future.
