Lara Barut Collection

We had a private transfer from the airport to the hotel (and return) which was great. Really easy and a lot better than the standard coach with multiple drop offs. The hotel has a corporate feel, which isn’t a bad thing but I was surprised at the decor. It didn’t have the ‘wow’ factor but everywhere was spotless and smelt good! There was a lot of maintenance taking place (might have been because it was beginning of the season). 1 out of 3 lifts were out of order for the entire 10 day stay and on one day (when the weather wasn’t great) the drilling was very loud and a few guests commented on this. Maintenance has to be done but it did seem to take a very long time and not sure why this wasn’t done out of season. The staff were fantastic - cleaning, bar staff, reception team and the entertainment team. I went with my two late teen boys and the entertainment wasn’t for them - either the shows or the live music but the shows were enjoyed by family’s with younger children and the live music was well received by the older guests (think smooth FM). The entertainment in the day was ok - we enjoyed the volleyball and the shooting which both took place late afternoon. The beach bar was lovely, very comfortable, lots of space and good music. The beach is lovely. The pools were very nice and clean. Towel stations (no tickets required) positioned at the pool, the water slides and the beach. These worked very well and meant we didn’t have to take / dry our own towels throughout the holiday. You scan a bar code at the pools, beach and in the hotel and your order will be delivered (by someone on skates around the pool, which was cool). The WiFi was excellent in the hotel and throughout the resort (including the beach). The room was fine, our agent asked for an upgrade which they did free of charge (think the difference was a pool view). 3 adults sharing (one being mum) was a squeeze but I didn’t want to pay for separate rooms so that’s on me! Mini bar (food and drink) topped up daily. Hair dryer and straighteners, towels and robes and slippers all provided. Cleaner was brilliant and made such a difference. Games area was good - liked the 2 free billiards tables which we played on a lot. The tokens for the other games area were 50 euros for 24 tokens (other options available but gives you an idea of the cost). Basketball and punching machine for older children and families and lots of games for little children. Plus two table tennis tables for free. Slides were fun, we went on them every day and they were thrilling! We did plenty of water sports (jet skis, parasailing etc) which was extra of course but lots of fun. We had a massage each in the spa area of the hotel and they were lovely and I’d recommend to all (just make sure you don’t take their first price)! The nightclub in the hotel is massive and well presented and they play good music. Being at the beginning of the season it was quiet a few times but we enjoyed it all the same. On the nights it was packed it was a lot of fun. We went on two excursions - quad bikes (wouldn’t recommend - too slow and not really much fun) and the 5in1 activity day both organised via the jet2 rep who was very helpful. The activity day was fun but it was too long (8am to 6pm). They could have done the activities in a shorter time and I wouldn’t do that again but the activities themselves were great (jet boat, zip line, buggy’s and water rafting). The water rafting was by far the best. Good value for money - we spent a lot more because we wanted to do other things. Lovely hotel and staff. Would recommend and return! We had a fantastic stay at Lara Barut Collection overall and would definitely recommend it. The hotel itself is spotless, cleanliness throughout the resort was exceptional, and all of the amenities were excellent. The staff across the hotel were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist. The Ultra All-Inclusive offering is a real highlight, especially being able to visit the à la carte restaurants multiple times during the stay. We did experience a few issues initially in the Italian restaurant, where the wrong drinks were served and some of the food arrived cold. However, to the hotel’s credit, we returned the following evening and the experience was much better. We also had a couple of service issues in the fine dining restaurant, Akdeniz. One of our drinks was forgotten and we ended up waiting around 30 minutes before it arrived. Once we mentioned it, the staff quickly resolved the issue, and it was clear they had simply overlooked it. Despite that, the food itself was very good, and we noticed the service improved throughout our stay. The food in Kuyu was nice but it felt very rushed. One standout for us was the à la carte restaurant that doesn’t require a booking. The atmosphere and service there were consistently excellent. A special mention has to go to Vendar, who was absolutely brilliant throughout our visit — professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He is a real asset to the hotel and made a lasting impression on our holiday experience. Overall, a wonderful hotel we feel the alacarte restaurants just need a bit more finesse . The app is awful and very slow, if you need to book restaurants do it via the guest experience / concierge.

We went to Lara Barut at the end of April 2026. The hotel located in about 25 minute from the airport. We travelled as a family of three and found it very useful because our daughter (2 years old) can’t spend long time sitting still. The hotel grounds are amazing - the variety of greenery and the whole layout. Massive plus it is pram friendly. Our daughter loved three playgrounds scattered around the territory and the heated pool which was busy even when the weather wasn’t warm. The hotel is paradise for the family with young children. On arrival we had all the things ready for our daughter plus if we needed anything extra I could request it via WhatsApp and get it delivered within 15 mins (for example potty or feeding chair). At the buffet there’s a whole room for children to sit with the fridge full of baby food (I’ve never seen anything like it). Special thanks to the staff, everyone is so attentive. Especially I’d like to compliment Ibrahim, who served us for buffet dinner. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and will be back again!

A wonderful and human-centric hotel. The Guest Service Center provides one-on-one service. The hotel truly prioritizes the guest experience, and the staff helps resolve any feedback or issues immediately. Thank you for giving me such a great stay.They are also especially attentive to infants, providing baby toiletries, a baby bathtub, and even a stroller. A special thanks to Orkun from the Guest Service Center—you handled many service details exceptionally well. He enthusiastically helped us change rooms, and when we lost our baby's pacifier, he even helped find it and kept it safe for us to claim. When we couldn't get a restaurant reservation, Orkun proactively helped us book it. It’s clear that Orkun genuinely wants to solve problems and puts guest service first. Thank you, and I wish you a very successful career in the hotel industry.We also cared a lot about the dining options. There is a different food theme every day, along with à la carte specialty restaurants. The standards are very high, and every dish is as beautiful as a delicate piece of art.

Arrival- we arrived at around 1am and was greeted by the concierge who took our cases for us. Check in was quick, friendly and important info provided. We were informed of the late night buffet which was music to our ears. Shown to our room with our suitcases brought up for us. We then headed back down to the buffet. Not a large choice but enough to fill us before bed. Room- we had a deluxe family room which is essentially two rooms. You walk in through one min door and then have two seperate doors to each room. Perfect for us. Our children stayed in one and we stayed in the other. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the mini bars were filled up daily. Food- Now this is where I struggle. We were not blown away by the food. After previously staying at Barut goia in Side and seeing people consistently say Lara and the food can’t be matched we had very high expectations which I have to say it did not meet. And Barut Goia 100% takes this one. There were a lot of stew type dishes every night probably using up meat that hadn’t been eaten previously. Not a wide range of fresh meat or fish. And was disappointed with the lack of/range of fresh fruit. Failed to be able to book any al cartes during our stay another disappointment despite being on the app like clock work. We did visit one by the lagoon pool on two occasions and the burgers were nice. However the steak was very fatty. Over all just want that impressed. Pools/beach/grounds- immaculate, beautiful, wow factor. One pool was heated which was amazing and defintley needed. Youngest enjoyed the water slides which are great. The beach is clean and beautiful and the beach bar a lovely area to chill out and enjoyed the DJ sets in the evening. Waiters/waitresses bring you drinks on roller skates which you order using a QR code on your sunbed brolly. The same system at the beach minus the roller skates obviously. Staff- wow wow wow! They can not do enough for you. So friendly and helpful. The young lady and man serving around the pool where stand outs for us. Remembering our orders, making recommendations, topping us up without us having to ask or order. Great conversations and so personable. The staff in the buffet very efficient never waited long for our drinks order to be taken. Every member of staff we encountered were great. Entertainment- we only watched a couple of shows the magic show and an acrobatic show both brilliant. We also listened to a live singer in the lounge bar one evening which was great. Pool entertainment lacking other than water aerobics didn’t see anything else. Again at Goia we experienced foam parties. Inflatables, cocktail party etc, maybe we were a little too early at Lara. Over all we had a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday. The grounds, the rooms, the staff and the water slides made his holiday for us. And is the reason we give it 5stars otherwise based on food and not much around the pool during the day it would have been a 4.
