I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience for other families—particularly those in their 30s who are used to 5-star standards and are planning a relaxing, family-focused holiday. We stayed at Limak Atlantis with my husband and our 7-month-old baby for our first family holiday. Our plan was to stay within the hotel and enjoy a relaxed break together. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not choose this hotel again. Overall, the hotel felt quite outdated for a 5-star property. The rooms were average and lacked any real “wow” factor. Cleanliness was inconsistent—on some days bins were not emptied and we only noticed the floors being mopped once during our stay. That said, the cleaning staff were always very friendly and polite, but the overall standard of housekeeping did not meet our expectations for a hotel of this rating. A major issue for us was the room temperature. Despite the air conditioning being on and even the balcony door open at times, the room remained uncomfortably warm, which was particularly difficult with a baby. When I raised this, I was informed that due to previous guest feedback, the system is set to blow hot air at night and cold air during the day. In practice, even during the day the room often still felt warm, which made it uncomfortable for rest. We did attempt to change rooms; however, the alternative room we were shown had a strong smell of cigarettes, so we chose to remain in our original room. The beach area was lovely—clean and well maintained. The snack bars were also a real highlight and saved us at lunchtime, as the main restaurant food was very disappointing. There was limited variety and much of the food lacked flavour. On several occasions, popular dishes were not replenished once finished, even after being refilled a few times, which meant we often had to go to dinner early to ensure we had something to eat. This was particularly challenging as we were weaning our baby, and we were very glad we had brought food pouches with us as there were very limited suitable options. Breakfast was also quite repetitive, with croissants in various forms being the main consistent option, along with cereals and pasta dishes. There were no typical English breakfast items such as bacon, sausages, or hash browns. Overall, the breakfast selection felt limited for an all-inclusive 5-star hotel. It was terrible if I’m Honest. Food was, unfortunately, the weakest part of our stay overall. If you do choose to stay here, I would recommend relying on the snack bars for lunch where possible. It was my birthday during our stay, and my husband arranged a birthday dinner with decorations and a cake for around. We booked the Dynasty restaurant as the Indian restaurant was closed. Unfortunately, the meal was also disappointing and did not meet expectations for a special occasion. The cake was not enjoyable, and due to the overall dining experience in the hotel, it went uneaten. On a positive note, we were able to have a complimentary late check-out until 12pm instead of 11am, and still use the facilities and enjoy lunch at the snack bar, which helped ease the pressure on departure day. Overall, we would rate this hotel 3/10 based on our experience. Personally, we would not return, and it has unfortunately made us reconsider future holidays in Turkey based on this stay.
We’ve been at this hotel for two days now and honestly can’t fault it at all. The staff are incredibly friendly and can’t do enough for you, making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Today we spent the day in one of the beach cabanas, which was the perfect mix of sunshine and shade when we needed a break from the heat. The waiter service was excellent, always on hand to keep us fed and refreshed with drinks and water throughout the day. We’ve already booked another cabana on the jetty for Wednesday and are really looking forward to another day of relaxing luxury. Highly recommended!
A wonderful place for families with children and not only 😊 Very good and varied food with a wide selection, including seafood served daily. Plenty of attractions for both adults and children, a beautiful beach, very friendly staff, and great animators. There were daily yoga and zumba classes with a lovely instructor, and every evening featured different shows and attractions, so there was practically no need to leave the hotel. We were also lucky with the weather in May, which made it even harder to leave… It’s definitely a place you want to come back to ❤️
Lovely clean tidy hotel. I am a vegetarian and I had loads of choices to eat. The fresh omelettes are amazing. Staff are very helpful and there is lots of activities to do.
Where do i start.... what an amazing hotel and experience we had. The arrival straight through to a lovely apartment which we shared with our best friends. The food in the restaurants was very nice, but a bit of a let down on breakfast, i had a omellete most mornings. We went to the italian restaurant and the steak was delicious. We paid for a day out to see the waterfalls and Hamam, which was a turkish spa, which was amazing. We went to a jewellery shop which was a bit too much as they were on you to buy something, but my hubby did buy me a ring. The entertainment was bang on, everyone works very hard. The foam party was fun. The beach party was the best part the music was fantastic we all got our groove on. Just go and experience the lovely hotel. We will back in October for OKTOBERFEST.
