Paloma Grida

Location is good, short transfer from airport. Decor and rooms are excellent, newly renovated and been done really well, beautiful. Pools are large and plenty of space to swim but unlikely to get a sun lounger unless you wake up at 7am. Food was fantastic. Only complaint, and it’s a huge one, was the noise. Banging music until 1am every single night, do not expect to sleep. Our room was in 70 block so well away from stage and bars with night time entertainment, but so so so loud even with air con on (white noise) and all doors and windows shut, we may as well have been on top of a nightclub. Wouldn’t recommend for families.

We visited Paloma Grida as our first family of 4 holiday (two adults, a 5 year old and our 20 month old) and without hesitation we would book this hotel again! The hotel is immaculate and the choice of food everyday was brilliant. The pools are great and the splash park and slides for the kids ages were fantastic. A special shout out to the team at the kids club! This is the best kids club I’ve ever seen at any hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff are amazing with the kids. My 5 year old isn’t a “kids club kid” but she would ask to go as soon as she was finished in the pool in the morning. The room (bungalow style) was the perfect size for the four of us albeit the balcony was on the smaller side but the air con in the room made up for that. Our room attendant (Goknur) ensured the room was clean and always left a personal touch in the way she made the beds. She was very thorough and although a slight language barrier we managed to communicate through our phones. The bar and waiting staff were also always very attentive. Ügar, Sülleyman, Ahmet and Esra all deserve 10/10 ratings. They were amazing with the kids and always knew what drinks we wanted after attending the bars and restaurants by two days. Overall Paloma Grida as a hotel is exactly what you see from photographs, a little piece of heaven on earth and we already can’t wait to visit again!

We are a family of 9 travelling needing 3 rooms , one family of 4, one of 3 and us celebrating our joint 60th birthday celebration. First of all would like to say we made a mistake with our room booking a year in advance where we ended up with our grandson in our room instead of with his parents so tried to rectify with hotel around 10 months before our holiday. Communication wasn’t great so tried to get general managers email address but eventually got a response but even up to just before we travelled still wasn’t resolved. Then about 2 weeks before travel advised a family room was sorted. Arrived at reception to find out the family room we were told they reserved wasn’t and took around 30 minutes to try and resolve and had to show email before they understood what we were requesting. We knew had to pay the difference but 4 cards were declined and they said their machine was fine so paid euros yet we didn’t have any issues with cards anywhere else. We weren’t even offered a welcome drink like other hotels. Eventually got to our rooms. Both rooms with children had no bedding and had to ask a couple of times before resolved. Pools Pools were brilliant and we found one which suited us perfectly but the poor pool guy was constantly wiping up splashes when kids playing and splashing so waste of poor guys time. Could have used his time better by removing empty glasses etc which lay there all day unless we returned them to the bar saving them running out of glasses. Was given wine is Prosecco glasses instead. Pool bar was great but didn’t show that you could get bottle beers these were hidden in the back you had to ask for them and then told we wouldn’t get bottles by end of the week, no idea why but we were going home. Restaurant / snacks Organised chaos, no welcome going into restaurant. Food okay always found something to eat but kids ate plain pasta all week no kids menu which was disappointing. Ordering drinks took time. Other hotels we’ve been to gave you bottles of wine. No snack bars which is poor Entertainment 5* hotels should have entertainment every night especially at the amphitheater for kids. Only seen 2 people in entertainment team, no morning welcome waves at the poolside. No come on join in the activities, nothing to show what activities where on or when unless you checked the app. Lacked atmosphere around the pool by the team/ hotel. No pool entertainment except water aerobics.. no pool party like other hotels, no dj party, The grounds are beautiful and the Zomm Bar great but relied on football World Cup for entertainment. As this was a special family holiday wish we returned to hotels in Lara beach which are so much better

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Paloma Grida as a family of four. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, and the service was excellent throughout our holiday, especially Ismail.

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful 10-day stay at Paloma Grida, and all we can say is wow – what an incredible holiday! Firstly, the hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The grounds, gardens, communal areas, rooms, restaurants, pools, water park, spa, and every other area we visited were immaculate. It was clear that the hotel has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with fantastic features that made it perfect for a 10-day stay. Although the hotel became noticeably busier towards the end of our stay, it never felt overcrowded. We always managed to get a great sunbed, there were very few queues anywhere around the resort, and the buffet restaurant remained exceptionally well organised with a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality food. We ate at all the A-La-Carte restaurants and we thought they were fantastic value, the food was really high quality and that was consistent throughout every restaurant - we especially loved Wabi Sabi and Avare! The staff were truly exceptional. Every single member of the team was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. We'd especially like to recognise a few people who genuinely made our holiday unforgettable: Samir – Part of the entertainment team, Samir brought endless energy and enthusiasm to every day. From leading aqua gym and water polo to encouraging everyone to get involved in activities around the pool, he created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere and would always stop by for a chat. By the end of our holiday, he felt more like a friend than a member of staff! He is an absolute credit to the hotel and works incredibly hard. Sude – Sude and the entire Guest Relations team were fantastic. They were always friendly, approachable, and happy to help with restaurant bookings, recommendations, and any questions we had throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always greeted us with a smile. We'd also like to recognise some of the wonderful restaurant and bar staff. Fatma at the main Paloma Restaurant was always so warm, attentive, and welcoming. Ezra at the Bistro Bar made the most delicious iced coffees every day. Serhat at the Quentine Bar remembered our favourite food and drink orders by the end of the holiday and always provided outstanding service. Oktay at the Sea Salt Bar was consistently friendly, cheerful and made fabulous cocktails. We also want to give a special mention to the gentleman who made omelettes at the breakfast station each morning. Unfortunately, we didn't catch his name, but he was always so friendly and smiley, and it was such a lovely way to start each day. Finally, we'd also like to thank the Reception team, who were incredibly helpful throughout our stay and always happy to answer any questions. Overall, we had the most amazing holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paloma Grida to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality getaway. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it was the staff who truly made our stay so special. Of course, everyone has their own experiences and opinions, but we genuinely couldn't fault a thing. For us, it was a 10/10 holiday, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone at Paloma Grida for making our stay so memorable!
