Incredible lake suite Good food and cocktails

We booked this holiday under difficult circumstances, and our local holiday agent (premier Fakenham) contacted the Hotel prior to our visit. We are so grateful for everyone involved, but special thanks to the staff, management and behind the scene arrangements. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful swim up room, with fresh flowers and wine waiting for us. Cannot fault this Hotel, the staff are a credit to the Hotel, and everyone was professional and helpful in every way. The weather wasnt great, but the staff worked constantly to try and sweep away the rain from public areas, and the cleanliness was outstanding. Thankyou Hotel Paloma Grida, and if my husbands health permits, we will return X

We have just returned from a 1 week stay at Paloma Grida. The hotel is nice but not as good as previous hotels we have stayed at in Turkey. There is very little to do, kids facilities are limited. We liked the hotel app and found it easy to use and booking the alcarte restaurants was simple enough. The main buffet had a good selection of food.and we enjoyed lunches at Quentine snack restaurant. There was only 1 drinks menu which was served in every bar and restaurant, which for a 5 star hotel was disappointing. There was a distinct lack of atmosphere throughout the hotel - the staff were excellent so friendly and accommodating. However on our 2nd last day, I went back to our room to find the maid had left our door unlocked and used one of our chargers, leaving her phone charging on one of the beds. Not really acceptable to be leaving our room open and touching our belongings. Again we have never experienced this before in Turkey. Hotel management agreed with us. We booked 2 Alcarte restaurants Wasi Sabi & Avare. Wasi Sabi, service was excellent but food was really awful & tasteless, especially the main courses. I ordered Sizzling Beef which was meant to come sizzling on a hot plate. The dish came on a cold plate and tasted like beef mixed with tomato puree no spice or flavour very disappointing. Because of this experience we cancelled our Avare reservation As a family of 4 we had booked a standard bungalow room however on check in we were given a complimentary upgrade to a superior room. Which we were grateful to receive as this was just big enough for us, balcony was tiny could only fit 1 person on it. All in all we were bored which we've never encountered before in Turkey. Not a patch on the likes of Liberty Fabay, Rixos Belek, Rixo Tekirova. Paloma Grida is more of a 4 star hotel. Would we stay again?, No, would we recommend? Not as as a 5 star. Not a luxury 5 star stay which was disappointing.

Great hotel, great hospitality, 5star!

Really nice hotel, good food, great crew. Enjoyed vacation with my family.
