Paloma Grida

​We spent a week at Paloma Grida during the October half-term break and came away with mixed feelings. While the hotel boasts fantastic facilities, there were a few issues. ​👍 The High Points ​Accommodation: Our superior room was excellent—clean, modern, and very comfortable. ​Pools: The hotel offers a lovely selection of pools with ample sun loungers. Be warned, however: the water was absolutely freezing! ​Entertainment: The entertainment was mostly very good. We particularly enjoyed the high-quality evening shows and loved the Zimbabwean band, who had many guests up and dancing. ​Kids' Facilities: The kids' club is fantastic, offering a wealth of activities and excellent facilities for all age groups. ​Memorable Moments: Our favorite part of the day was enjoying sundowner drinks on the jetty. ​👎 Areas for Improvement ​Staff Service: This was the most disappointing aspect. Service from the restaurant and bar staff was consistently poor. They were often slow to serve and generally came across as unfriendly. It may be because it was the end of a long season but it really showed. ​Allergies: My husband, who is gluten and dairy intolerant, struggled for the first few days as there was a complete lack of allergy information on both the buffet and à la carte menus. At times it was painful to seek out what limited options there were. ​Dining: ​The general quality and variety of food in the main buffet was very good, as were two of the à la carte restaurants we visited. ​However, our experience at Quentine restaurant near the beach was terrible. The food was served cold, and the service was painfully slow. ​Overall Summary ​We ultimately had a lovely family holiday, however it is not a hotel we would return to.

Hotel is really renowated with taste! Full of natural colours, art, modern furniture and smells beautyifully! Hotel is well organized, rooms and bungallows are in upper location and pool, Restaurant and activity buildings are located closer to the sea. We have not received bands on hands, what I liked. Our room - standard one in main building was small, but enough. What we were missing were bath tools, slippers and sewing kit, which are normally in standard equipment in hotels with 5*. In bathroom there were no hanger for towels. Food was really good, fresh and delicious. Inclusive desperata, which were tasty! There were many free sunbeds on the beach. Shows were doneony twice a week, but there were live music evenings, nice to dance of seat and listen to the artists. We were in three tematic restaurants. All are for free.

Excellent hotel, big hotel area, nice pools, extraordinary food and a big variety of it. A la carte Restaurants are extremely delicous. We especially want to mention these workers: Roland, the Entertainment worker. He was amazing, it was very fun playing games and just talking with him. He does a very good Job. Angel, the roommaid, she always cleaned our room so properly, truly no optimizing there. She was very sweet!

Amazing holiday at a wonderfully relaxed hotel. Great for familys with kids. Great food, service and entertainment. Highly recommended.
