Paloma Grida

We recently returned from our stay at the Paloma Grida Hotel in Antalya, and on the whole, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Our room was comfortable, clean, and came fully equipped with everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. The Highlights * The Kids Club: This was an absolute standout for us. Işik was amazing with our daughter, and the entire kids' club team deserves praise. The facilities are superb, and they kept the little ones constantly entertained and having fun. * Standout Staff: While service across the resort was a mixed bag, two members of the team made our holiday truly special. Serhat at the Quentin restaurant was fantastic—he went above and beyond for us at both lunch and dinner. Over at the Aqua bar, Mutlu was always warm, friendly, and full of fun. * Entertainment & Access: The evening entertainment was excellent, with a great variety of high-quality shows. We also loved how easy it was to access both the pools and the sea. Areas for Improvement While we had a lovely time, there were a few areas that did not live up to the hotel's 5-star rating: * Restaurant Service: Generally speaking, the service in the main restaurants was quite poor. We were rarely greeted upon arrival. One morning, we waited over 10 minutes just to have our drink order taken, only for the waiter to forget what we ordered and react with extreme rudeness when we asked about it. * Pool Cleanliness: Although the pools themselves are great, the maintenance around them could be improved. The floors around the pool area often felt sticky, and there was regularly a noticeable amount of dirt and sand left at the bottom of the pools. The Verdict We had a wonderful family vacation thanks to the fantastic kids' club, great entertainment, and brilliant staff like Serhat and Mutlu. If the hotel can address its general service standards and step up the poolside housekeeping, it would easily be a flawless 5-star experience.

We stay now-6 person.relations staff— it is minus of this hotel -unwilling to help, using generic phrases and don’t help us . All the a la carte restaurants are IMPOSSIBLE to book during week . In fact ,you can go only main restaurant… My friend has Birthday - and hotel didn’t make compliments…Nothing . Out manager told us,that the hotel is very customer-oriented and caring, but this is not true.

This is our 2nd time here. The first 2023 and unfortunately the hotel hasn’t changed for the better. The hotel itself is lovely and very clean. Food is ok but disappointed no real snack bar as such with burgers, nuggets etc for the kids like before. Main restaurant repetitive but always found something to eat Drinks again ok, some bars and staff better at making than others. Now here’s where the hotel falls. The entertainment is terrible now. Evenings pretty poor. Big new amphitheater and there’s rarely anything on. No party nights on the grass area with dj etc. they only put flood lights on once a week for organised football but all the kids go in evening to play as it’s too hot daytime and the hotel would rather they play in dark and possibly injure themselves. day time activities poor apart from darts or aqua gym, There used to be loads for kids and now very basic. Seemingly the new owner doesn’t want it lively. It’s now boring! I do want to give a huge shout out to Samir. He was lovely and we enjoyed aqua gym and water polo with him, also darts, so sorry can’t remember girls name But apart from that it’s been really poor entertainment. The little street never had anything on either now We were really excited to return this year however unfortunately it will be our last 😩

We absolutely loved Paloma Grida. The all-inclusive concept was fantastic. There is food available throughout the day, and the main buffet was excellent—really varied, with different dishes every day and something for everyone. If any reviews report feeling ‘bored’ of the food - they are probably the types of people who only eat chips or don’t like local cuisine… They also have complimentary à la carte restaurants - the Chinese/japanese was our favourite - which were genuinely delicious and a lovely option to book during your stay. (Make sure you book ahead as they book out quickly!) The kids’ facilities were phenomenal. The kids’ club was clean, well organised and staffed by such lovely people. There’s also a great soft play area and plenty of outdoor play spaces. The indoor play spaces are organised by age group - there is a Lego room, craft/cooking activities and face painting, a large chilled out kids cinema, evening kids disco. The night entertainment is amazing, we enjoyed watching the World Cup matches and a fantastic circus performance. The amphitheatre is also beautifuy designed. There are lots of different pools and swimming areas, so it never felt overcrowded and there was always somewhere new to explore. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The air conditioning was excellent (a bigger plus than you’d think in the Turkish summer!). One of my favourite things about the resort was the design. The décor is absolutely beautiful—modern Scandinavian-inspired, calm and understated. Everything feels so thoughtfully planned, from the seamless step-free paths that make getting around with a pram effortless, to the landscaping and layout. Nothing feels out of place or overdone. The furniture, the wall art, the flora and fauna, the way it has all been laid out has clearly been thought out carefully. It has such a peaceful atmosphere that you genuinely don’t feel the need to leave the resort. Housekeeping to a high standard. If you need access, request a ground floor room as some rooms require stairs access but they were very accommodating. We had such a relaxing family holiday and would happily return.

We visited Paloma Grida on 22 June with our son, and the hotel certainly did not disappoint. It is beautiful, with a really lovely renovation throughout. Our room was in the main building and was modern, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for a family of three. The weather was extremely hot—around 45°C by 12:30pm on most days—so we spent a lot of time seeking shade. That said, the hotel’s facilities were second to none. Our favourite area was the Bistro: it was such a relaxing place to sit at any time of day with a coffee or cocktail. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional. The toilets, shared areas, grounds, and our room were all immaculate. A big thank you to the cleaners, pool attendants, and behind-the-scenes staff, who all do a fantastic job. One small point: cocktails varied slightly depending on which bar you visited, so a little more consistency would be welcome. The water park was very impressive. However, our six-year-old was disappointed that he could not go on some of the larger slides, even when accompanied by an adult. It would be great if the hotel could review these rules in future, as some water parks in Spain allow children to ride with adults. We did find the daily approaches from spa staff offering massages, and photographers offering family photos, a little repetitive. They were always polite, but it sometimes felt as though they did not remember speaking to us the day before. The hotel attracts guests from many different countries, including Russia, Poland, Germany, and the UK. This did not affect our stay overall, although the restaurant could occasionally feel a little hectic at busy times. We would especially like to mention Samir from the entertainment team. He made the holiday extra special for both us and our son, who looked forward to seeing him every day. Samir is engaging, genuine, and incredibly friendly, and hard working in the June heat with aqua gym/ darts/ waterpolo and football! We are now looking forward to exploring Morocco one day—hopefully we will see you there! Apart from the intense June heat, we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel was brilliant and we would absolutely recommend it. If you can afford a swim-up room, go for it—they looked amazing. There was also no stressful rush for sunbeds; we always managed to find some, no matter what time of day. We may well return in a cooler month so that we can explore Antalya properly.
