Pick this hotel. You won’t be disappointed. Simply the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Management and staff clearly work hard to give you the best holiday. Food is great, staff couldn’t be more polite and helpful. Entertainment I probably would pay to watch. I may consider returning to a hotel for the first time ever! My only thing to change would be the mashed potatoes 🥔 Using real potatoes rather than powdered would make all the difference 👌🏻 Thank you Paloma for a beautiful, memorable holiday ❤️

If you want a family friendly hotel with a luxury feel and great food this will be the place for you. In previous years we have stayed at the Liberty hotels which we absolutely loved so was unsure on how it would compare. Well the photos and descriptions online do not do it justice. We loved it. This hotel is a smaller version, with the same standard of food and quality of rooms. The rooms were great size and the beds were comfy, we stayed in a junior suite which has views of the pool and sea. The grounds were beautiful and the activities planned were well suited to families. The staff were really lovely and always willing to help and make sure you’re having a great holiday. The pools and beach are lovely and the kids loved the water park! We did too! :-) We had a day trip to old town side which was also perfect- lots to see. If you have a late flight you can also hire a day room for €20 which was great- shower, hair dryer etc. Highly recommend this hotel would def be back again!

Our third visit to Paloma Orenda (and fifth Paloma chain holiday). Travelled as a family of 4 (18 and 15 y). Has a really great time, as ever. Hotel is perfectly located on a wonderful strip of beach, with a lovely chilled beach bar area with DJ late afternoons. Huge aqua park onsite, shared with other nearby Paloma hotels. Hotel is clean, main restaurant has a good selection of food (with pasta station, and always plenty of roast/grilled meats etc). Quentine a la carte restaurant for lunch is a firm favourite for us. All staff are very keen to please and ensure you have a great holiday. Entertainment team were really great and very friendly, encouraging involvement without being pushy. The midday pool games, aqua fit, and darts etc all great fun! Shout out especially to Ferit and Mert for being really friendly and welcoming. Evening shows/acts were entertaining, and live bands down at the beach bar were really great too. Only slight downside is the 7am venture to secure sun loungers, and consistency of drinks/cocktails seemed a bit variable this year, however not major issue, as you can just order another! Hotel is a short taxi ride from Side, really pretty town with lots of historical ruins, and recommend taking the 45min boat ride for just €5 per person. Would highly recommend this hotel (and will most likely end up here a fourth time!!)

We stayed at Paloma Orenda last year and absolutely loved it. The service, atmosphere and attention to detail were excellent, which is why we returned this year and recommended the hotel to two other families who joined us. Unfortunately, despite paying more than 35% more than last year, our experience this time was completely different. The biggest problem was not simply the new restrictions, but how inconsistently they were communicated and enforced. At Quentine Beach Bar, I went to have drinks in the sofa area facing the sea wearing shorts and a CLOSED swimsuit, yet I was told I also had to wear a T-shirt. Management later wrote to us that guests ordering drinks from the bar may do so in swimwear — completely contradicting what actually happened. We were also told we could not use the sofa area near Quentine Restaurant during dinner hours. However, when we had dinner there on 6 August at 7 p.m., we personally saw multiple families sitting in exactly that area in swimwear. How can a rule be enforced against some guests but not others? Another unnecessary issue concerned wearing a T-shirt in the swimming pool for sun protection. We had to discuss this with three members of staff and then a fourth manager before it was finally accepted. Something so simple should not require this much discussion during a holiday. The Kids Club was also disappointing. Several ride-on toys appeared broken or poorly maintained, and there is no baby-changing table inside the Kids Club itself. For a five-star family resort, we believe this should be basic infrastructure. Our most serious concern was pool hygiene. On 5 August, human feces were discovered in the hotel’s main swimming pool and guests had to leave while it was treated. Shockingly, on 7 August, there was another fecal contamination incident involving a baby in the SAME pool. After the second incident, I spoke with a female lifeguard. While talking to her, I pointed out another very young child in the children’s pool without a swim nappy and asked her to speak to the parents. She refused and told me this was purely the parents’ responsibility. Of course parents are responsible for their children, but surely a five-star family resort must also enforce its own hygiene rules — especially after two contamination incidents within several days. The bar experience has also declined. The cocktail selection seemed smaller, requests for cocktails outside the menu were refused even when the ingredients were available, and the same cocktail could taste completely different depending on the bar. Most disappointing was management’s response. We raised these concerns WHILE WE WERE STILL AT THE HOTEL because we genuinely wanted to give them an opportunity to improve our remaining days. Instead of acknowledging our experience, we mostly received explanations about policies and “operational standards.” We did not arrive looking for problems. We were loyal returning guests who loved Paloma Orenda enough to recommend it to our friends. Sadly, we are leaving with a completely different impression. The hotel is still beautiful, but beautiful facilities alone do not create a five-star experience. Consistent service, sensible and consistently enforced rules, hygiene and management that genuinely listens to guests matter just as much. We also spoke with other returning guests who told us they had noticed the decline in service and did not plan to return. Sadly, after this experience, neither do we.

Lovely hotel, great atmosphere, very clean. Animation team are very friendly and welcoming, especially Mert and Ferit who kept us great company. The pool games and aqua fit were very enjoyable.
