Papillon Belvil Holiday Village and Hotel

Visited this hotel several times, plan to come again. Would be happy to see changes: a) Kids corner in the main restoraunt. First, great that its exist. Last year it was perfectly managed by Elisa, but this year the place does need management attention: employees often change and find for themselves strange priorities other than help people; broken glasses or water can sit on a floor unnoticed and uncleaned; plates were sometimes not completely washed. Place is understaffed during peak times even vs. the rest of the restaurant. Again the kids corner is great, but it was kind of forgotten by management this year. b) Smoking management. Although I appreciate no-stress/no-pressure approach by the management, but I belive there should be done more to protect non-smokers. For example, in the main pool restaurant you cannot make order without going thru tables with smokers. Would be great to see non-smoking areas on the beach, by pools, and in outdoor restaurants, especially near children's locations. c) Adult animations/sports Would be great to see more team sport activities by the animation team in addition to volleyball. With Belvil's focus on football and with a tennis/basketball/etc. court it would be natural to have more sports offered. (I bet it will be a cost-saving as people will drink less alcohol :-). Would also be great to have more than 1 table tennis available near the pools. d) gasoline spills and smels Unfortunately this year there were issues with motorboats that circle near Belvil: from the kids trampoline side there was a strong smell by gasoline (from the boat station outside of Belvil), and on the water by the beach there were thin oil spills seen :-(. I assume those were from the boats that offer paraplanning and other activities. I totally understand that this is not under Belvil's control, but it would be great to address this issue to preserve Belvil's value. :-)

It was absolutely fantastic! Best hotel I’ve stayed in in Turkey by a mile. There’s two pools that are suitable for children not to need armbands, one with slides and one without and they’re both heated. The main pool is heated, the adult only pool isn’t heated but really quiet. There’s another large pool for all ages, not heated. There’s another indoor pool and baby pool. Bars within two mins walking from wherever you are. The outside kiosks are great for pasta, jacket spuds, ice cream and fruit. There’s a pizza oven and the restaurants are wonderful! We didn’t try the A La carte ones as we found we didn’t need to. The Asian food is excellent and lots of choices for children. The salad bar was delightful!! So much choice in general no matter your preference. The beach is practically attached to the hotel and there’s an adult only section here too with a beach bar on a pier. It’s a brilliant hotel!

The hotel is beautiful, so is the atmosphere with everything you could want from pool , entertainment and great food. The entertainment team were fantastic with plenty of fun activities and a special shout out to Aki, who our little girl loved. Thanks for an amazing holiday!! Hotel Papillon Bevel 100% recommend!!

We love it here and have returned for the second year running. Staff are fantastic and work so hard for long hours. The food is amazing and one of our highlights. we have upgraded our room both times as know the standard room in Turkey is generally very small and there are four of us so it has made sense to upgrade. We’ve had a room in the main building both times and the room has been great and well cleaned. The evening shows are a fantastic standard and the carnival for the children is amazing. I can’t really fault the hotel - my only negatives lie with the other guests, not sure where on earth some of these people are dragged up, no manners, so rude and think they have the right to push in queues which us British cannot stand. I feel for the workers at the hotel that have to put up with these disgusting people. Don’t let this put you off, just be prepared for it and to stand up for yourself and double up your manners to the hard working staff who receive no please or thank yous from the majority of visitors from a certain place.

Wow wow wow this hotel is the best I’ve ever stayed in. Great food, spotless hotel lovely friendly staff great location and the addition of a pier with a bar which was a surprise as it was only built last year and not mentioned when I booked was the icing on the cake. Lovely Alcarte restaurant’ at only 4 euros each which is amazing for the amount of food you get. Anyway enough of me just book you won’t be disappointed 👍
