Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Antalya

Rooms look nice and cosy, location is good. Near the centrum. Overall it was a great time here at ramada.

We arrived at the hotel at 5:00 a.m. after travelling through the night, so we were exhausted. After spending £2,500 on our holiday, we expected our half-board room to be fully prepared for three guests. Unfortunately, it was only set up for two. We had to ask for an extra cup, towels and toiletries, and it took four requests over two days before an extra chair was finally provided for the balcony. These are basic details that should have been taken care of before our arrival. The biggest disappointment was the customer relations service. I had to speak with Bahar on three separate occasions, with my final meeting involving the customer relations manager, yet none of my concerns were properly addressed. During our stay, I fell down some steps and was left bruised. Instead of showing concern or offering assistance, I was simply told the manager had gone home and that I would have to deal with it myself. No apology, follow-up or gesture of goodwill was offered, and no effort was made to improve the remainder of our holiday. I also found Bahar to be unapproachable and unprofessional. On one occasion, I overheard her speaking negatively about guests and making rude gestures, which I found surprising for someone working in customer relations. When I explained that I would be contacting my holiday provider about my experience, her response was simply, "Do it." I found this dismissive and not the level of customer care I would expect from someone in guest relations. Another disappointing experience was in the restaurant. After my fall, I was in pain and simply wanted to take a few slices of fruit back to my room. I explained that I had injured myself, but one of the restaurant staff members was rude and aggressive, insisting that no food could be taken out of the restaurant. There was no understanding or compassion, despite knowing I had fallen. A little kindness and empathy would have made a big difference. On a positive note, I would like to thank Faoime from housekeeping. She was always friendly, kept our room spotless and took pride in her work. She was one of the few members of staff who made us feel welcome. Overall, the hotel has many good qualities, but the lack of empathy and professionalism from several members of staff overshadowed our holiday. After spending £2,500, we expected a much higher standard of customer service. Unfortunately, because of our experience, we would not recommend this hotel and would not return. We are also disappointed that our holiday provider continues to offer this hotel, as our experience did not reflect the standard we expected for the amount we paid. We hope the hotel management takes guest feedback seriously and improves its customer service so future guests have a better experience.

Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, good food and great location and great staff!

It was a great experience from start to finish the staff was very friendly and was always there to help and I would recommend anyone to book the Ramada plaza.
