Ramada Resort by Wyndham Side

We’ve just had a 10 day holiday at the Ramada. We travelled with 3 adults and 2 children. Starting with the location it was okay, it is about a 20 minute drive from Side Old Town. Everything is a taxi journey away. Staff were approachable and didn’t find them rude at all. Special shout out to the younger guy at reception for taking a gigantic grass hopper that managed to hitch a ride in our room. Also we had a family photo shoot on the beach with the photographers they were absolutely brilliant, and I would say reasonably priced (£5 for a print 6x4). Rooms were perfect for what you need, comfortable enough as were not in them long. The pool area was clean and tidy, constant cleaner coming around the pool emptying the bins and cleaning up. There was a few poops that happened in the children’s pool but that was cleaned up and dealt with promptly. Slides were excellent!! Special mention to the lifeguard he was great with our kids. Food… the food was all you can imagine an all inclusive buffet to be. We always had full tummies, even the kids. The restaurant however did allow cats inside, which to me I didn’t mind so much. But I can see why people wouldn’t like this. I had 2 major issues with the restaurant itself- no 1 the FLYS. They are everywhere!!! Constantly flapping the flys off everyone’s food they need to get some electric fly spazzers asap!!! My no 2- is the seating!! If you want a seat you must get there late or bang on 7pm otherwise you will be walking around with your plates of food. Saying that if you’re late for food you won’t get a seat at entertainment. Entertainment was good, there is always something on apart from Sundays. But Fizz Beach Bar do something this day (free drop off and pick up). Day time entertainment there was very little!!! We found the beach was okay?? Kind of a make shift beach, very stoney will defo need sea shoes. There is a free shuttle bus to the beach. We did go to the spa and this was excellent!! So relaxing even when we took the 2 kids with us, we had a Turkish bath, sea salt scrub, foam bath and an hour massage it was very good. The kids had a foam bath and a face mask! This hotel is a good hotel and good value for money. You get what pay for and you leave with a fantastic tan. Thank you for a great 10 days!

Positives Food has a good range and standard for an all inclusive. Something for everyone. Ice cream is lovely and creamy. Rooms and suites lovely and big great for a family of 5. Good atmosphere around the pool during the day and entertainment was ok. Negatives One tank of hot water for showers when it's gone you have to wait for it to reheat. Last 2 people had cold showers. Cleaners just about made the beds which consisted of a light blanket draped half way down bed. Sons bed upstairs never got made. They never gathered glasses or cleaned anything else. He spilt nuts and the dust was left there all week. Floors left your sockes dirty. No soap left in my bathroom even though they saw I was taking the shower gel bottle from shower. Used my kids shower on the last day and realised they had no shower gel all week. They said the bottle was empty since we got there. This is very basic putting shower gel in a room. Soap on a sink and taking out glasses and rubbish and hot water. For a 5 star very poor effort. Paper cups and plastic cups at pool most hotels have moved to recyclable containers. Love a wine in a paper cup!!!! Had a shower in spa area the day we were leaving. Two containers both empty when I asked for some I was told I should have brought my own. No one knew where to get them so they told me sorry we have none. 5 star!!!!! Cats are around, didn't really bother me but I did see them put two paws on people's tables for food. Area up at playground very poorly kept. 2 rocks on the grass and cut around them for no reason. Smell of cats, as cat house is up there. Volleyball area looks poor. Just the area needs attention felt run down. I will not be returning for these reasons. Think they are basic needs shower gel reusable cups and cleaning in your room.

Nightmare with food, strange and bad taste, repetitive food, often leftovers from previous days mixed into new dishes. Son got sick for 3 days in the end and got home ill. We ate very little, and only very few things, because it was very very hard to find something what would taste at least somehow neutral.

If you can, cancel your ticket! This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. If you have slightest standard or expectation, you will be very dissapointed. The food was absolutely disgusting. Every single day it was the same menu, despite your repeated claims that the chefs provide variety. That is simply false. Your responses only demonstrate your ignorance. The food was bland, tasteless, and barely edible. If you’re expecting a proper selection of meat, forget it you will be eating old cheese and frenc fries over and over again. To make matters even worse, cats constantly jump onto the dining tables and wander around guests feet while people are eating. It is completely unhygienic and absolutely revolting. The fact that the hotel allows this says everything about its hygiene standards. No matter your claims of inspection- its a good word but the cats own your place. The shuttle bus to the beach only runs once per hour, and when it arrives it is overcrowded and packed with people. The beach itself is covered in large stones, making it uncomfortable and unpleasant to enter the water. The so called sun umbrellas are made of thin wooden sticks that let the sunlight straight through, making them practically useless. The beach restaurant is just as disappointing. Cold hamburgers, dry and tasteless döner, and food that is simply not fit to be served. I could write a book or documentary. The only enjoyable part of my stay was getting on the bus to leave this hotel. I would never return, and I certainly would not recommend it to anyone.

Budget hotel. At the beginning food was cold and not too tasty .With time meals got better. It is a lot of fast food. In the coffee machine is the worst coffe that I drunk inTurky ,but in the lobby bar they serve good tuskish coffee. In restaurant , water was driping from air condision on the floor next to the food but staff fix this on 3 day. Red and white wine ok. Drinks with lots of alkohol if sombody like's it. Pool good size. Hot inside the hotel,air condision it's not working like it should. Small but clean rooms. Hotel defenitely for guests expecting low quallity.
