We stayed at Regnum The Crown in May 2026, and from start to finish it was a trip we’ll never forget. Before arriving, we contacted the hotel to let them know we’d be celebrating our 37th Wedding Anniversary, as well as our nephew’s 21st birthday. Guest Relations responded quickly and assured us they would prepare something special. What truly surprised us, though, was being upgraded to a villa — an incredible gesture that set the tone for the entire stay. The villa was nothing short of spectacular. It featured two huge ensuite bedrooms, one with a gorgeous freestanding bath, plus a separate shower near the entrance, meaning three people could get ready at once. Outside, we had access to a totally secluded heated pool, which felt wonderfully private and luxurious. Across the resort, the restaurants and snack bars served consistently good food. My personal favourite was the Peruvian restaurant, thanks not only to the nutritious breakfast options but also to the exceptional service from our waiter, Murat Burak — without doubt the best waiter in the entire hotel. His professionalism and warmth genuinely enhanced our stay. Our paths crossed in other restaurants to and he always made the experience exceptional. However, service in some of the other bars and restaurants didn’t quite meet the same standard. On many occasions, staff insisted on taking drink orders without writing anything down, which repeatedly led to receiving the wrong drinks. A small detail, but one that became noticeable over time. Perhaps if employees like Murat Burak were given the opportunity to train the wider team, it would bring the service level up to match the rest of the hotel’s quality. We made great use of the paddle and pickleball courts, and the adults-only pool was a peaceful hidden gem that we thoroughly enjoyed. One disappointing moment occurred at the Palm Beach Bar and Snacks, where my wife was ignored by a waiter despite the venue being completely empty at the time. After raising this with the manager, the service did improve — although even then, my drinks order was still incorrect. Overall, Regnum The Crown is an amazing place to visit, offering beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, and some standout staff. With a little more consistency in service across all dining areas, it could easily become truly exceptional. Despite the hiccups, we had a wonderful stay and created memories we will cherish

Unfortunately not the stay at Regnum The Crown I had expected …which I wanted to love! Don’t be fooled by the aesthetics there are a lot of downsides … The following issues which truly let the resort down Main issue we had my 2yr old had picked up a pill of some sort from the bedroom floor at the bottom of the bed left from previous guests I assume as we had no form of any tablets or pills with us on holiday what so ever this was also on our second night so I question how thorough our room had been cleaned on arrival it’s always the what if had I not been stood beside him as we would never assumed oh he has swallowed a tablet as it wouldnt have crossed our mind not having any with us that asides how guest relations have handled this complaint I wouldnt know as there has been no follow up after discussing the issue and also sending an email which has had no correspondence! - booking the speciality restaurants you either can’t get a booking unless you book in advance or if you do get a booking you don’t get much option of preferred times (I advise the day you arrive book for the duration of your holiday) ,after speaking to many families it’s a massive issue a lot of guests are having!,and even at that the speciality restraunts are poor !! - The struggle for a sun lounger if your not at the pool for around 9 is impossible ,this is because the sister hotel guests staying at Caraya (it’s all one complex so a very short walk but the cheaper hotel option ) Are swamping the pools…when I went to guest relations about it they suggested I used the Caraya pool with absolutely no disrespect to anyone staying at Caraya but when your paying a more premium price you expect to be able to use the facilities. - staff ,the worst guest relations team I have ever encountered /engaged with no real interest on how there guests feel ,no manners majority of them are rude, unexperienced, no people skills , don’t fully understand English. On arrival you are given a QR code for a WhatsApp concierge it’s like speaking to a brick wall total waste of time I will add images of the sheer lack of interest and knowledge. -The speciality restraunts we only managed to get booked into 3 out of the week we were there after complaining and getting a cancellation for one I really wanted to try (which was nikos) The other two were steak and Japanese no more than 2.5/5 the food was basically like buffet food but just served to you on a plate ! No atmosphere no music ,staff were horrendous forgot orders which took forever to get taken in the first instance food was really poor and every restaurant has the same kids menu. Nikos was nice felt like more restraunt vibes however our booking was for 9:30 we went at 9:15 by chance there was 8 empty tables she said we would need to come back our table wasn’t ready but of course we were then sat on one of the 8 empty tables which was there at 9:15 and others remained empty ! I asked guest relations how it’s so difficult to get booked into when it’s clearly not fully booked and the just advised maybe people don’t show up ! -the food at the buffet restaurant is what you’d expect from an average all inclusive buffet …pot luck if the chips are warm and the guy making pasta telling you to go to the kids section for spaghetti bolegnese becuase he has ran out not exactly 5star buffet The food huts around the resort again great concept aesthetically pleasing and look Pinterest worthy however if you go approaching closing 20 mins before expect the scraps, there also untidy as the guy working solo in them can’t keep up with the guest order and do cleaning at the same time so you will find collections of sauce packets ,salts , dead flies etc sitting on work tops that said one guy did spray his glass counter top which food was sitting under and also got sprayed not ideal. - kids club yes it’s big with multiple rooms however the rooms have times which they are open so not all rooms will be open when your in, already looks pretty worn out or the beauty parlour doll heads you couldn’t get a brush through the hair, lights hanging out of walls, and kids unsupervised it’s basically a free for all with security doors I wouldn’t leave my child there without being present unless around the age of 8 plus ! I could go on with a lot of minor issues that you still wouldnt expect from what you see of the hotel and the price you pay as it should be proper luxury but the only thing I would give 5star is the over all look of the place !! Ohhh and my husband had food poisoning to top it off!

Yesterday I attended the spa for a body massage and facial. Both procedures were undertaken by two different members of staff. Whilst I was laying down for the body massage, the lady asked whether I wanted a body mask. I said what is this? The lady explained a cream. So I agreed. After the massage I was then taken to another room with a lady who was to complete the facial. She immediately told me of 3 prices for different products, the cheapest being €230. I agreed to the cheapest but I honestly thought and expected that would be the total price. To my amazement upon leaving the spa I was presented with a bill of €760!!!! I honestly feel like I have been scammed! I have visited Turkey for years and always attended the spa and never have I been presented with such high prices and been charged for add ons for creams! It’s usually all part of the price. I feel people visiting this hotel really need to be aware of this and avoid! There should be more transparency from the staff from the outset! I’m very, very disappointed! On a lighter note as for the rest of the hotel, I cannot fault it, the staff and facilities have been excellent. The spa has been the biggest let down! It has cost me nearly 15% of what I paid for the holiday in the first place Avoid!
