Sentido Trendy Verbena Beach

2nd time at this hotel we had a fantastic time everything was top class hotel food staff entertainment we are booking again for September this year can’t wait

We stayed in January 2026. We initially had a small issue with the hotel room, but it was handled by guest relations and reception in an excellent way by offering us a different and very comfortable room. We found all the staff very friendly and giving us a warm welcome, making our stay a truly pleasant experience. We enjoyed the hotel facilities, especially the restaurants, the pool bar and evening entertainment. The main restaurant offered high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a variety of choice for everyone. Dinnee at la carte Mexican was great and the patisserie irresistible attraction offering a huge range of delicious cakes and biscuits, coffees and teas. The hotel is kept very clean and its location is perfect for beach and walk lovers - next to a lovely, long promenade. We enjoyed our holiday a lot and found it very relaxing.

We stayed for a week at the end of October and loved every minute! The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food amazing, and the staff so friendly and welcoming. We also experienced the spa in the hotel and all said that the massage was the best we'd ever had! The resort of Side is lovely and we enjoyed wandering around the ruins and the shops. We walked from the hotel and stopped off at the 2 other Sentido hotels on the way to break up the journey. It's great that you can use the facilities in the other Sentidos as part of the all inclusive! Having never visited Turkey before we were unsure what to expect, however it certainly won't be the last visit and I would worry about staying in a different hotel in case it isn't as good as the Trendy Verbena! Thank you to the fabulous staff for making our stay so amazing!

We were very pleased with our room, plenty of storage for suitcases etc, also liked the bathroom setup. Beds comfortable, nice to have fridge. Hotel always being cleaned, staircases being swept to washing down the foot showers at the beach. The cleaners do a fantastic job. The man at the beach keeps everything tidy. Pools look spotless but we didn’t go in, as we loved the beach, not a stone in sight, sea was warm and clear. The beach restaurant was excellent, loved the bread being made. Could always find something to eat in the evenings, lots of choices. Breakfast was really good, mostly had the omelette or eggs. We were very impressed by the cocktails in the Blue Bar. Also loved the coffee shop and cakes. The couple of shows we watched were really entertaining. A big shout out to all the staff. The waiting staff were excellent. All the staff were very friendly, felt we were treated no different from other nationalities. Really went above and beyond for Halloween. Easy to come out of hotel and walk to numerous shops, also a little further quaint streets. Dolmas to Side 1.5 euro. Loved looking around the old town. Also the ruins are amazing. Walked back along the prom, stopped off for a drink in the Trendy Side then you walk along the beach and pass Trendy Palm. Lovely walking along the beautiful clean beach. We went to the Italian restaurant but far too many courses for us. Overall would definitely come back to Trendy Verbena.

The hotel and it's amenities were to a high standard. Clean and spacious rooms. Staff nice, but very few of them could speak English which lead to a lot of frustration. Being spoken to in German (despite advising on several occasions to the same staff members that we were English) most of the time got irritating after a few days. They need to employ more English speaking staff. Pools were freezing cold. They dealt with my friends food allergies very well but I struggled as a vegetarian. Not a lot of choice, it was just as well I like salad as most of it was amazing. The food labelling left a lot to be desired - labelling something 'stuffed onions' or 'stuffed peppers' but not saying what it's stuffed with was not helpful! The food was geared very much to the majority of the clients who were German. A lot of the food was cold. We took advantage of one of the a la carte restaurants and had a Mexican meal. The restaurant had as much atmosphere as a vacuum and the food was no more Mexican than I am. We felt rushed by the wait staff to eat our meal. Very disappointing. We asked for an Aperol Spritz and were served something that tasted medicinal and when I watched them make it there were more ingredients put in the glass than needs to be. Overall not impressed. Staff in the patisserie were particularly rude. On one visit we were unable to request an oat milk hot chocolate for my friend (which had been made the day before by the same person we were talking to ), we were then told to leave as they were no longer serving. The patisserie closes at 5pm and this conversation was held at 4.45pm. The pool bar drinks were rubbish, they weren't using good quality ingredients, which is what we were expecting in a 5 star hotel. We were so looking forward to this holiday and were left with a bad taste in our mouth.
