Good: Nice rooms, which are larger than some other hotels in the area. Plenty of bars to choose from. Little shops including a small snack shop and an arcade. Kept clean both in the rooms and the wider hotel, with regular beach cleaning. Majority of the staff are lovely, especially one of the room cleaners who came back to top up our soft drinks rather than waiting until they were empty to do so, the very young boy who cleans in the restaurant, who never spoke to anyone but was always smiling and quick to fix any issues, and the young lady in the restaurant who had our drinks memorised after one visit. Cats are clearly well fed, and a security guard would always check to see where the cats where when he saw me walking towards the exit towards the beach, where the cat house is situated. Bad: The rooms are poorly soundproofed. Entertainment could be heard clearly despite being reasonably far away, which is not ideal if you have an early flight. Even if you don't - who wants to hear Baby Shark being played at 9pm every single night. Could hear room neighbours talking quite clearly and doorbells for other rooms echo through the walls. Aircon is locked at 22 degrees. Hairdresser staff are very pushy, had to tell them every single day, multiple times that I was not interested. The quiet pool does not have any closing times stated, and when I asked a staff member I was told it was still fine to go in around 7pm. Only to get shouted at by another member of staff. Again no closing times stated, no sign to say it was closed, and there was plenty of daylight and I was not unsupervised. Also saw multiple people get told off for using lilos in the pools, always by one specific lifeguard (who spent more time on his phone than watching the pools). This was in all pools, which makes no sense given one of the shops sells and inflates lilos for use in the pool. None of the other staff or other pool guests had issues with the lilos. Would like to note it was only the English guests I saw getting reprimanded. Cleaners walked in despite the Do Not Disturb sign on two occasions. First time was when I had just come out of the shower and was half dressed. Cleaner then shouted at me in German for 5 minutes straight. Once was when I was unwell and intending to stay in the room, but I ended up leaving to sit in the communal area. The worst incident was in the patisserie. A male staff member came over to the coffee machine and asked me if I was pregnant, with no apology when I said no and was visibly upset about being asked. I have a tumour which I did not disclose, because I shouldn’t have to, but unless a child is actively being born, staff should not be asking this as there is a thousand reasons why this is a horrible and inappropriate question to ask. I ended up leaving the patisserie completely, and did not return for the rest of my stay. Advice: Rethink the layout of the restaurant - gets quite crowded as there is one main walkway. More sound barriers such as noise blocking landscaping. If you have signs up stating not to feed the cats as you look after them, take them to the vets.

As a British guest, I wanted to share a balanced review of our stay. Overall, the hotel was excellent. The staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful, and we never experienced any difference in treatment despite reviews suggesting otherwise. Having both travelled extensively around Europe, we can honestly say we have never experienced such consistent kindness from every member of staff we encountered. They are a real credit to the hotel. The hotel was spotless, well maintained, and clearly cared for. The food was a highlight, particularly at lunch and dinner, with plenty of variety and quality options. We also enjoyed the Italian à la carte restaurant, which was one of the standout experiences of our stay. The multi-course meal was delicious, the atmosphere was romantic, and it felt like a special evening away from the busy buffet. Breakfast was the only area that felt a little limited, although it is likely designed to suit the hotel’s predominantly older European clientele. The evening entertainment was fantastic, with different themed shows each night. The performers were talented and clearly worked hard. However, after the live shows, the DJ music was aimed more at older guests. As visitors in our early 30s, we would have appreciated a better mix of modern music. We also tried several cocktails, including a Piña Colada, Mojito, and Sex on the Beach, but found them lacking in flavour compared with versions we have had elsewhere, so we mainly stuck to beer and spirits with mixers. The gym was functional but dated, and one machine malfunctioned after a single use. A special mention must go to Darya from Guest Relations, the staff at the Patisserie, and the housekeeping team, who consistently provided service with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. If I were rating the hotel and staff alone, I would happily give top marks and recommend it. However, as a British guest from an ethnic minority background, I often felt uncomfortable due to the number of stares from some other guests. At times, it felt as though I was being watched, which detracted from an otherwise excellent holiday. I want to emphasise that this was not the fault of the hotel or its staff. The hotel appears to be primarily tailored towards Eastern European guests, with the majority of visitors seeming to be German and Russian and predominantly aged 50+. Travellers seeking a more internationally diverse atmosphere may wish to bear this in mind when booking. Sadly, despite the outstanding staff and overall quality of the hotel, this discomfort means we are unlikely to return. Nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable holiday and would like to thank all of the staff for their hard work, kindness, and hospitality.

Excellent hotel except for the gluten free option The guest relations manager Berrin Sonmaz was very helpful. Other hotels that we have visited in Turkey such as the grand azur in Marmaris have a separate cabinet for the gluten free bread. At this hotel I had to ask and then wait for gluten free bread rolls to be brought from the kitchen and then a further wait to have them defrosted. No choice of different gluten free breads . This area needs to be vastly improved upon.
