Serenis Hotel

This hotel is definitely not a 5-star hotel — it’s more like 3 stars at best. When we arrived, the receptionist was busy messaging on his phone for about five minutes while we were standing there tired from our trip. The staff were generally rude and unprofessional. Our room was very dirty and low quality. The bed was extremely uncomfortable — the metal springs could be felt through the mattress, and it made my back pain even worse. The gym was in terrible condition; all the equipment was rusty, and the treadmills didn’t work at all. The food quality was very poor. My wife and I both had stomach pain after eating there a few times, and it seemed like they were serving leftover food from previous days. When we tried to use the Turkish bath, the staff were rude again and only wanted to let in guests who were paying extra for massages or other treatments. The website said Wi-Fi was available in public areas, but it only worked in the lobby. It feels like they’re just trying to charge guests extra for everything. There weren’t enough staff, so we often had to pick up our own cups and plates by the pool. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not worth the money or the time — we left very disappointed and upset with our experience

Only had a short stay at this hotel for a few nights but after reading all the bad reviews was a little concerned. However couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the hotel, room was clean and spacious. Now to the reception staff - extremely rude, not welcoming and only one room key given out! I requested another key card as my sister wanted to go back to the room and I was going out and key card works the lights and air conditioning in the room so need 2 cards if one person is in the room and one person is out. Reception requested a 500TL deposit for an extra card and when I gave him 600TL he said he didn’t have any change and I would need to go to the shop to get change myself or just give him 600TL instead. When I said this was unacceptable he started speaking to me in German and saying he didnt understand me! Reception staff Burak extremely rude and very poor attitude, should not be working in a customer facing role! Special mention for lifeguard Yusuf who was very friendly, welcoming, great with children and spoke very good English!

I stayed at this hotel from September 15th to 22nd, with my family, we are from Romania. In 2024, it was my first time here and the stay was wonderful – however, this year the management was not the same, and the experience was completely different. Animation team: Last year the animators were respectful and did their job properly, but this year it was the complete opposite. Both my sister and I received numerous indecent proposals from members of the animation team. Even though we politely refused, they insisted in a very inappropriate and sleazy manner. The only ones who behaved professionally were Romeo and Yusuf. ⚠️ Girls, if you are young and traveling alone, or even with your family (apparently this doesn’t stop them), be very cautious! Avoid their parties as much as possible, especially Efe's parties where he will even take your phone to leave reviews on German platforms without your consent. And to one specific animator: Dear Derman, or “Spiderman” as you are also called, stop asking girls if they like it in that car. Cleanliness: We did not request housekeeping during our stay, yet the staff cleaned our room every day, and it was always spotless. The cleaning staff were very kind and professional. Management: On the first day at check-in, the manager tried to give us a different room than the two we had paid for, claiming it was a “favor.” After refusing several times, he got annoyed and spoke disrespectfully to my sister. My advice: never accept another room than the one you actually paid for, no matter if it seems bigger or has a better view. Final thoughts: The animators become vulgar and even borderline aggressive if you don’t fall for their pickup attempts. They are neither supervised nor restricted, so be prepared for shocking and inappropriate questions. Last year’s management and animation team would have never allowed such behavior.
