Hey . Well this is 100 % honest....I always read reviews and go on many holidays . Yes, I knew it was budget, and I believe you get what you pay for . I've just returned after one week with my partner. Arrived late . The hotel looked lovely and was impressed. Then got taken out of the back door of the hotel over a road down a scruffy path to one of the "AMEX" bungalows NOT ON THE ADVERTISED PICTURES TINY ROOM .SCRUFFY .SHOWER DIDN'T WORK . NOISY AIR CON. STRAIGHT BACK TO RECEPTION AT 2AM . TOLD TO COME BACK IN THE MORNING . WOKE UP AND THERE WAS SEWAGE DIGGUNG OUTSIDE THE ROOM . AWFUL MAINTANNCE WORK IN THE LANDING HOTEL MANGER RUDE ABOUT IT returned to speak to the manager AGAIN Paid 120 pounds for a room upgrade . SHOULD HAVE BEEN NO CHARGE ARGUED THE TOSS BUT HAD TO PAY SHOWED THE MANAGER THE SEWAGE PICS AND SHOWER NIT WORKING ECT WASNT THERE PROBLEM. The room was amazing in the main hotel Well worth the upgrade . But what a waste of a day ... New room amazing...but no hangers it was what they call the penthouse. WELL WORTH 120 POUNDS BUT DONT THINK WE SHOULD HAVE PAID Food ok ... no English speaking guests .doesn't bother me that, though. Bus to the beach and back. Beach bar ok . Same food daily. Beach ok had better . Bus to side 10 mins pretty place on the harbour .

Just returned from 10 day holiday at Side Alegria Hotel & Spa. We had 2 rooms, I was in one, and my daughter and her boyfriend in another. Rooms are good, spacious, clean, air condition works well, good showers and balcony. Food is fine, queues can get quite long as the food area is not very big. Choice is decent, very good Turkish cakes to go with decent Truish tea. Coffee in restaurant was awful, juices usual hotel fare, drinkable but nothing special. The young ones were used the pools and beach a lot, no problem in late July getting sun beds. The area around the hotel is full of the usual Turkish shops selling fake clothes etc - but is lively. Having bee to other areas near Antalya, I found this area quite expensive in general. The evening entertainment was hit and miss - it is the usual dance and music groups that do the rounds of all the local hotels. A couple were good, a couple quite bad. Main issue I found is the pool bar closed strictly 23:00 every night, and often people were getting in a good mood and dancing etc, and they just kill it off by shutting down. I found the animation team to be not particularly inspiring - only really experienced them in the evening time as I was not doing the pool stuff, but they just strutted out the same stuff every night, and the one attempt at Bingo was pretty dreadful. But this is generally what you get going to these hotels Went into Side a couple of times (1m mins on the bus from outside the hotel), it is a nice small town and the archeological stuff is very impressive, worth going there to experience that alone. The other town in the area, Manavgat is disappointing - big and ugly, the "bazaar" mostly the same tat you get in the local shops near the hotel. I had never awful group in the room next door, some screaming and fighting in the room at 3 o'clock clock in the morning, but that can happen anywhere I guess. Overall it was fine, and if you don't set your expectations too high a decent spot to relax for a week or so.

We had a lovely holiday this week! The entertainment team have been amazing. Shoutout to Bely and mehmet for all our activities and for making our week so fun!

Location is very good. It has no atmosphere and the staff were glum and unfriendly except for Melissa from the animation team and the housekeepers. The room was lovely with a sea view and was clean and fresh every day. The lobby smells of stale smoke. You only get one key so if one wants to go to the room early the other has to wake you up to get in. The food is average and the drinks were okay but not nice so we went to the near bar for decent cocktails. The pool areas are clean and the poolside cafe had the usual salad and chicken and pizza. This is not a five star hotel and customer services needs to drastically improve.

A very good place to stay for value for money in Autumn/Winter . Excellent Location for swimming with a large area of Rock Free beach. If you don't expect English style food there is a good selection especially salads. We stayed in the main Hotel rather than the Annex and found the room clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The guests were predominately Russian and German so not a place for those Brits not liking to be in a majority...no problem for us. Very cheap bus to Side Town and Manavgat about 1.5 Euros per trip. Note the hotel is adult only.
