Side Alegria Hotel & Spa

This hotel is dated, pools are too small, our roon was tiny with the smallest bathroom ever, no room fir toiletries,noisy and dirty. The cleaners managed to come in once (out of five nights) on the 2nd to last morning despite complaining to the management, the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. The food is cheap and nasty and seems to be the same every day. So many Russians whose greed in the restaurant is something to see, they always seem to be permanently drunk, on one occasion a totally drunk Russian was urinating in the corridor, I have nothing good to say about this place. DO NOT STAY here

A very good place to stay for value for money in Autumn/Winter . Excellent Location for swimming with a large area of Rock Free beach. If you don't expect English style food there is a good selection especially salads. We stayed in the main Hotel rather than the Annex and found the room clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The guests were predominately Russian and German so not a place for those Brits not liking to be in a majority...no problem for us. Very cheap bus to Side Town and Manavgat about 1.5 Euros per trip. Note the hotel is adult only.

Just had 8 days at the Allegria Hotel and Spa and had a brilliant time. Room was lovey and big.. we had a sea view room 755 on top floor. Staff were amazing as was management. Lovely cleaning ladies x went to Spa and had a 2 hour session for 50 euros! It was amazing! Beach 2 minutes walk shops right outside. Please read these reviews and do not go! Staff were so rude. The hotel quality was poor throughout, with food not meeting even 3-star standards. The heated cabinets didn't work in the mornings, so breakfast items like fried eggs were stone cold, leading me to skip breakfast due to feeling unwell. This raises serious concerns about health, safety and hygiene. The restaurant was dirty. There were stains on a tiled wall by a dining table that were present from the start to the end of our holiday that could have easily been wiped off without any effort. There was a cabinet behind the serving station which had wires exposed and trailing from but was open and there were either food remnants at the bottom of the cabinet or mouse droppings. The extremely poor food quality and long queues made the experience feel like a staff canteen, so we dined out most evenings despite booking an all-inclusive holiday, which added extreme extra costs not budgeted for. This hotel does not accommodate English guests and we were the only English guests in a very large hotel. No-one can speak English apart from at check-in when magically we were told in English that the room we had booked, through Thomas Cook was not good and there was no wifi despite it being advertised. We were asked to pay 140 euros for a sea view room which had wifi. The entertainment was appalling; the advertised games room could not be used by anyone due to the vile odour emanating as soon as the door was opened and the advertised A La Carte restaurants were closed despite being offered on the TC website. The still water was presented in childlike Calypso style cartons rather than bottles which were like a lottery ticket on whether you could get them open or not. Had this been our first experience of Turkey, we can honestly say we would never return.

The stuff was rude and unfrendly . Room were dirty and never cleaned . The kitchen was unhygienic. ic, with leftover food from lunch being served again for dinner.
