I stayed at Titanic Deluxe Lara for 9 nights with my wife and two children, 8 and 5. We stayed over the start of July. Overall the hotel is nice, the outside parts are excellent, lots of choices for pools, great waterpark for all ages and you can't argue with poolside drink service. The alcohol was good quality, and plenty of nice little snack bars where you could get fruit, ice cream, cakes and fresh waffles. The beach was good, lovely setting (FYI, sand is super hot this time of year). We hired a cabana on the pier that sat over the sea, it was fabulous, well worth the extra money, full day 10am-6pm, butler service with a fully stocked mini bar too and hot tub (cold water which was lovely in that heat). Inside, the general hotel was nice, nice decor and plenty of nice little bars, snack bars and chilled out areas. Main restaurant food was good, plenty of options but I would say standard, don't expect great things. I was not impressed with the service either, took an age to get a drink, when you did it would be the wrong order or would forget and you would need to ask again. They also lacked hygiene on the tables, often they would just wipe it down with a damp cloth before use and you would end up on a semi dirty table, we used alot of baby wipes to clear them. We only tried the Italian restaurant separately, it was really nice, food was lovely and good service there, but we did not try the others. They let us down when my daughter was bed bound with a bug, we couldn't take food upto the room from the buffet restaurant, we had to go down, find a chef, order it via them (trying to tell them what you want in a large buffet was difficult) I couldn't even plate it myself, had to order it, so in the end we just didn't eat, was a hassle. Very strict on rules. The room is what let it down for us, small, outdated and not well kept, really needs an upgrade. So for a family of 4 we had one small room, little space, with two double beds, so ended up sharing a bed with a 5 year old for 9 nights. Day one, my 8 year old got stuck in the bathroom, door lock was broken, so I had to break it down to get her out and it took them all day to come and fix it and replace the door lock. Alot of the skirtings, door frames were all hanging off and lots if patched up work. Under the bed was dirty, never seems to get cleaned. While the cleaners were nice, they did not do a good job, floors were always dirty, peice of the door lock was on the bathroom floor for 5 days (left it to see how good a clean it gets). Overall the rooms really let it down! Entertainment was good for all ages too, shows were good, music, and kids club, bowling and arcade. Overall, for all the outside, entertainment and general facilities, I would recommend this hotel as a 4 star, but they need to upgrade the rooms to step it up again! P.s its bad for getting loungers at the pool, my wife had to go down at 6.30am each day and sleep on the lounger till breakfast or you don't get them, found this out the hard way and unfortunately you need to play the game to get one.

We are currently 5 days into our 10 day stay at the titanic and we are mostly disappointed with our stay. ❌When we arrived we were greeted by a receptionist who was very abrupt and seemed like she couldnt wait to get rid of us, she gave us very little information about the hotel which meant i was asking people at the hotel for places to eat and drink. She didnt clearly explain to use the QR code to access information about the hotel ✅The location is good from the airport only around 25 minutes and there are some local shops within a 5 minute walk. ❌The room is small for a family and there is very limited storgae for clothes and other items such as our pram. ❌ rude staff in restaurants. They are very short and always seem to be in a rush but dont seem to be doing very much. We have a 2 year old boy and you have to find the highchairs and take them to your table yourself which isnt something i expect from a so called 5 star resort. We have been waiting over 15 minutes to even order drinks some days. Unless you ask for drinks they wont come over and offer. ❌The hotel is said to be kid focused however no staff interacted with our little boy who is super smily and chatty, they have no kids cutlery or kids plates which means the plates dont fit on the high chair and theyre not clean enough to put food straight onto the tray. ✅The kids club is good and has lots of rooms for them to play in including soft play and a playstation room however the 0-3 years room needs a freshen up and some new toys as it looks a bit dated. ❌The pools are nice however the sunbed situation is a joke. Theres signs everywhere saying dont reserve however no one enforces this rule at all! The first day i came down at 8am to find nearly no sunbeds. I have started coming down at 6.30 just to get a sunbed next to the kids pool and it is still a struggle at that time. When you arrive a text is sent saying not to do this but nobody listens to. Some people are coming down at 5.30 and some beds are already gone. ✅The food can get a little bit repetative but i do think the food is nice and they is plenty of selection overall. ❌ Drinks arent all premium spirits only upstairs in the main bar, downstairs by the pool it isnt premium. They have branded bottles on display but they use local crap to make the drinks. Also the hotel says it has coke and fanta and its not. Its pepsi and own brand orange. Drinks are made too strong and cocktails arent nice. ❌We were told on the first day they dont have an iron and if i wanted my clothes ironed it would be 8-12 euros per item. After i complained twice, we were able to fill out a form and get an iron sent to the room but after 20 minutes they were ringing asking if we were finished. ✅The coffee shop which is open 8-12 is the best thing about this hotel. ✅ evening shows are amazing! ❌They have 5 small lifts which can be a real pain as they do not fit alot of people in at a time so can cause alot of quese. Summary: this hotel is good but not as good as the hype. I would say its service level and quality of drinks makes it a 4* but dont expect 5* service here. Overall, I wouldnt recommend coming to this hotel.
