Trendy Lara

Been here 3 years running now first 2 years i done a week but this year i done 2 weeks really good hotel and i would still probably come again but i have noticed this year the pool shows have gone on a night and moved to corner bar which is not the same as not as much drink options at the bar and is further away from kids park. The bistro food is not good the chips are freezing cold and sat for hours compare to mardan palace i stayed in 2023 where you are able to order fresh. Most Waiters around the pool very slow or sometimes there is barely any at all compared to last two years ive visited. Very good hotel still but somethings this year has took the 5 star experience away for me. Two members of staff id like to mention are abdullah who was great from our first day till the day we left very quick service from him and couldn’t fault him. And the other member if staff id like to mention is yusuf in guest relations he couldn’t be more helpful everything i asked he would help or try his best to even when i enquired about the new hotel next door he arranged a tour for me. He is a real asset to this hotel 10/10 for me.

First of all, we loved the hotel. Absolutely beautiful and the facilities were first class. You genuinely wouldn’t have needed to leave the hotel. We were here for two weeks and did only a handful of times. There is roadworks outside the hotel so it did take prolonged periods for buses/transfers to come and get back. The hotel was clean and the food was great. We dined in two of the A La Carte Restaurants. We chose the Mexican and the steak house. Both were fantastic. The staff were varied in friendliness. The lounge bar in particular, we were quite often ignored when we went to the bar. The people who chose not the queue with the rest were always served first, despite skipping lines. It was not as if they could not see who was standing in a line- I’m not sure if they do it to “keep the peace” but we ended up falling into the whole idea of table service and staff requested to serve us for tips, as it was leading to a great deal of frustrations and guests were starting to fall out. One staff member, who wore all in red at the lounge bar, would stand in front of the mirror and admire her outfit rather than serve. She also was witnessed pulling her nose hair out and spraying perfume multiple times when customers were standing waiting. The kids entertainment was okay- the same few songs and no organisation really. The shows were brilliant though. My baby loved the re-enactments of Kung Fu Panda and Aladdin. I am not sure we would return due to location and teething problems such as staffing issues. There were a few stand out friendly staff who tried to look after us definitely but also some that would ignore you, which is really not nice. Thank you Trendy Lara

My honest review of Trendy Lara. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by two cheerful bell boys who helped us check in and kindly took our luggage to the room. The reception staff were incredibly accommodating I had requested a room away from the new development area and they arranged this for us without any issue. The room itself was modern, spotless and very comfortable. The housekeeping team were excellent throughout our stay, always friendly and thoughtful, often decorating our bed with rose petals which was a lovely touch. The food at the hotel was very good and I would definitely recommend the steak à la carte restaurant. One thing I would advise is to check which dishes are included within the €30 allowance, as some options do come with an additional supplement of around €40. Every area of the hotel was immaculately clean, stylish and very well maintained. Unfortunately, we did experience some inappropriate homophobic comments from entertainer Charlie during our stay. However, I must say this was handled professionally and promptly by Guest Services and the Entertainment Manager, which we appreciated. I also later attempted to shake Charlie’s hand and make it clear there was no bad feeling, although this did not seem to be reciprocated. Aside from this isolated incident, the staff at Trendy Lara were absolutely fantastic. I would especially like to mention bar staff Ibrahim and Recep, who truly could not do enough for us and always made sure our drinks were topped up. Recep in particular was hilarious and had us laughing every time he came over. Entertainer Ali and Entertainment Manager Imbrhan were also incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout the holiday. Most importantly, I would like to give a very special thank you to Ozzy. From the very first day until the moment we left, he went above and beyond to make our holiday unforgettable. Every single day he would come over to chat, check how we were doing and make everyone feel included and valued. His energy, humour and genuine care for guests were absolutely outstanding. Ozzy is, without exaggeration, one of the best entertainers I have ever come across in any hotel. He has a natural ability to make people smile and creates such a warm, positive atmosphere around the resort. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in making sure guests have the best possible experience. He is an absolute credit to Trendy Lara and, in my opinion, deserves recognition and promotion in the future. He genuinely made our holiday what it was. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

Absolutely wonderful holiday. Highly recommended and definitely coming back. Superior customer service and care. Staff we encountered were all fabulous. Absolutely lovely hotel that couldnt do enough for us, we paid for a family photoshoot as we didn't have one with all the kids together and huseyin was lovely and very professional and the patience of a saint with my 7 year old who couldn't keep still for the photos haha! Memories to cherish forever.
