🇹🇷 I stayed at this hotel in 2025 and decided to return in 2026. As someone with multiple food allergies, one of the main reasons I came back was actually the food. Last year I was impressed by the selection and especially the detailed allergen information. I also wanted to see the reconstructed beach, which was one of my biggest criticisms in 2025. 🏖️ And I have to start positively: the beach reconstruction surprised me. The old small facility is gone and two new, much better facilities have been added. The new toilets are modern, beautiful and air-conditioned. Compared with last year, this is a huge improvement. 🥝 Some smaller things improved too. I finally found kiwi, although only for one day 😄, liquid soap was available and the parties seemed to last longer. 🍽️ Unfortunately, the main reason I returned, food and allergen information, was worse this year. 📋 Last year I was impressed that I could usually check allergens myself without constantly asking someone. This year information was sometimes missing or mixed up. At the beach buffet, useful allergen information was basically nonexistent. I also encountered incorrectly presented food, for example chicken sausages mixed up with sausages in tomato sauce. I took the wrong food and had allergy problems afterwards. ⚠️ If you have serious allergies, I would definitely not rely entirely on the labels. 👨🍳 But I want to clearly separate this criticism from my experience with the kitchen staff. The kitchen team was wonderful and genuinely tried to help me. 🥞 I could have gluten-free pancakes prepared for breakfast and rice pudding for dinner. Aysun helped me every evening and was incredibly kind. Sami was also very helpful at breakfast. A huge thank you also goes to Sabrina at reception and the entire kitchen team. ❤️ Their personal approach is still one of the strongest reasons why I appreciate this hotel. The problem is that I don't want to visit Guest Relations every day and tell them exactly what I want to eat. In a restaurant with such a huge selection, I would prefer to check reliable allergen information and simply choose something suitable myself. This worked better in 2025. 🛥️ The boat connection to the beach remains something I really like. If there was nothing suitable for my allergies at the beach, I could return to the main restaurant where the kitchen could prepare something for me. 🎂 Unfortunately, this also ruined part of my birthday this year. I returned from the beach to eat at the main restaurant because there was nothing suitable for me at the beach. Afterwards I wanted to return, but nobody was allowed to take the boat back because of the wind. I understand safety restrictions, but it was especially frustrating because we had previously travelled in conditions that seemed even windier. 🧊 My biggest hygiene concern this year was the beach bar. I saw questionable handling of ice, including the ice scoop being used while preparing drinks. When I requested a drink without ice, I also saw a glass being placed into the ice. I spent one day with digestive problems after having ice at the beach. Of course, I cannot scientifically prove what caused it, but personally I strongly suspect the ice rather than the hotel food. I have visited Turkey around 12 times, including as a small child, and I know the difference between my allergic reactions and ordinary digestive problems. Last year I had no digestive problems at this hotel. ⛱️ The sunbeds also need better cleaning. Some were visibly dirty. I even heard a child urinate on one and the following day it still appeared to be in the same condition. Washing or simply hosing down the sunbeds regularly would make a big difference. 🐕 And a general tip for guests: please teach children not to pet beach dogs and immediately eat with the same hands. The same applies at buffets. Hundreds of people touch the same serving utensils, so basic hand hygiene is extremely important. Not every case of digestive problems at an all-inclusive hotel automatically means that the food was bad. 🍴 The adult-only restaurant area has improved slightly. It is now available for breakfast and lunch, although unfortunately still not for dinner. I understand that dinner is the busiest period and capacity is limited. 🎶 Entertainment was different from my previous stay and continued to rotate, which is excellent for guests staying 10 nights or longer. Unfortunately, the seating situation during evening programmes remains badly organized. When many people arrive, there simply aren't enough good places and unnecessary conflicts can occur. 🏨 I was also curious about the new Trendy Perge next door and considered staying there in the future. Unfortunately, I wasn't even allowed to briefly enter and look around. 🚁 This made the security priorities feel a little strange to me. Guests from Trendy Lara are strictly prevented from entering Perge, while I saw a drone flying extremely low, approximately a metre above people's heads on the beach, without anyone apparently finding or stopping the operator. 🛏️ On the positive side, both pillows in my room were very comfortable and I slept well. 🙂 Overall, I still had a good stay and there are people at this hotel who genuinely deserve recognition. The reconstructed beach is a massive improvement compared with 2025, and the kitchen staff once again showed how helpful they can be when dealing directly with someone who has allergies. Unfortunately, the irony is that the beach, one of my biggest disappointments in 2025, became much better, while allergen information, one of the main reasons I returned, became worse. 🙏 Special thanks again to Aysun, Sami, Sabrina and the entire kitchen team. You made travelling with multiple food allergies much easier. 🍴 I returned because of the food. 🏖️ This time I actually liked the improved beach. 📋 But I trusted the allergen information more in 2025. After staying here in both 2025 and 2026, I am glad I gave the hotel another visit, but this was probably my last one.
Loved our trip! Pros: - food was great! The buffet restaurant is awesome and has some great themed nights with genuinely great food (if a little bland - but that’s probably more a *me* thing. I’m a cook, and I love spice!) - entertainment - genuinely good evening shows not just for kids. The circus and stunt themed events were great! Loved the Colombian singers afterwards one evening too! - staff - genuinely SO attentive. Never felt like I had to tip (though I chose to!) and all seemed genuinely happy to work here and had energy. I’ve stayed in more high end hotels where the staff looked terrified to make mistakes - but not here! They look so happy! - sports bar! Awesome! - the coffee/french place (eclair), staff here are genuinely 10/10, the coffee options are 10/10 and the cakes are awesome. - room super functional and clean. Loads of storage and an awesome bathroom! - loved the boat trips to the beach! And the beach bar! - the boat trips the TUI reps showed us where great! - the TUI reps where awesome! - food corner was awesome! - the many many food and drink locations (24/7 options!) where great! - short airport transfer! - only one noisy evening out of 10! which was a major party held in a location close to our rooms (noise stopped at a reasonable hour!) couldn’t hear noise from other rooms or corridor etc! - Cost was super reasonable! - we appreciated an adults only area in the main restaurant! Maybe other 18+ areas could be created for couples? Cons: - my girlfriend is veggie - and the à la cartes did not advertise a single main course that was vegetarian. Real bummer and majorly disappointing for her as she loves different cuisine, and I was gutted that I couldn’t go and try the restaurants because she wouldn’t be able to eat more than a starter!! That said she was super happy with the buffet restaurant! - LIFTS! Yes they’re pretty - but they’re BOILING and they’re SO inefficient. So many times we were queuing up for one lift whilst two others sat idle. The lift queues were agonising! Just let me walk down some stairs!! This sounds petty - but it genuinely was what most of the other guests we talked to moaned about too!!! - dining times where a little weird… but there where so many other options if you wanted to skip a meal or eat early that it didn’t really cause us issues. - this is wild… but the hotel song… (they all have a song!) was famously covered by Gary Glitter… so maybe reconsider that one! My girlfriend and I will be returning 100% - may goto other countries first - but when we next visit Turkey. This one is one we would come back to!
Arrived very last at night, check in was fast. Wasn’t given any info whatsoever about anything & shown straight to our room. Late night food was available We had a duplex room over two floors. The room was huge. Upstairs had a double bed and downstairs it had two single beds, would’ve preferred the beds the other way round as my teenage daughter & her friend had the upstairs. The cleaner we had was amazing, room was always spotless The food was great and there was a large variety available but if you don’t go later on it was absolute packed and you would struggle to walk around and get a table so we always left it till late on to go. Pools are clean. If you don’t get your towels out early you will struggle to get beds together. People were putting towels down and not coming to them till gone dinner. Drinks were good with lots of choice but they could do with another pool bar as the queues can get long Plenty of food available in the day time with a sit down snack bar where you can order off the menu and another snack bar where you choose your own food further back. Only downside is there’s no snack bar near the main pool bar Location of the hotel is a-bit out to way. Feels a little like you are stuck on the side of a dual carriage way. They have a private beach to make up for the lack of sea front location Plenty of seating inside there’s a sports bar inside also. Massive should out to Merve, what an absolute diamond she is. She remembered our order from the start, never forgetting my slice of lemon :) and replacing our drinks just at the right time without us having to ask what an absolute credit she is to the hotel. We would come back again just to see her for sure, was sad to say goodbye to her Holiday ended with a nightmare. Left our bags in the baggage room while we waited for our private taxi to arrive. When he went back to the luggage room one of them was missing. Turned out someone had put the bag into the bus that had left before we did. Ended up getting it back at the airport but that ruined the end of the holiday with the stress of it all All in all the hotel is great with good food, shame the location isn’t better. Staff are amazing and can’t do more for you (especially Merve)
Perfect family holiday, we were in the villa room 4002, the food service was quick and food was delicious, everything was a couple steps away so it’s perfect if you want to relax, thank you loads to Gökhan from guest relations for making sure everything was running smoothly and made sure there were no problems! He helped us book an el carte restaurant (Italian) which was delicious! There are multiple of restaurants around that all have perfect service. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and the water slides were fun for the kids! The villa pool is right outside the room and we had our own bar and service to the room.
It’s first time in trendy Lara and it was definetely amazing. The staff is lovely and the food yummy. Another good thing is you’re using the catamaran boat to go to beach which is really good. The room cleaning super good as well. We tried the Mexican alacarte restaurant and it was superb. Thanks to chief Gorkem and Mevlut. A big shout out for Serkan the head waiter of Mexican restaurant. He was absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend and definitely come back!💯
