Trendy Perge Resort & Suites

We had a fantastic stay at Trendy Perge in Lara Beach, Turkey, and honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. The facilities were excellent, the hotel was beautiful and well maintained, and there was plenty to enjoy throughout the day. The atmosphere was great, the food was lovely, and the whole experience was made even better by the amazing staff. A special mention has to go to Abdullah, our waiter, who was absolutely fantastic. He was so friendly, attentive and always made sure we were looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his service really made a difference to our holiday. We also have to mention Eren and Devren from the entertainment team. They were brilliant! Both were so friendly, energetic and entertaining, and they worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone had a great time. Always made you feel included and a true bonus for the hotel for having them both.They really helped create such a fun atmosphere around the hotel. Overall, Trendy Perge is a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities, great staff and a brilliant entertainment team. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is brand new and very well maintained, although I found it quite compact. There are plenty of pools and lots of proper sun loungers, and the pool areas themselves were lovely. The pool and evening entertainment for most of the nights was good aswell although the seating and the large space between the stage and first row of seats could have been been made smaller to allow more seats. The entertainment teams are great however I did wonder if they fully considered health and safety, I saw one entertainer throwing what looks like liquid nitrogen around towards the kids. During our visit, it was disappointing that the kids splash area were closed for most of the day on three separate occasions because a child had an accident in each of them. On the one hand, it is reassuring to see the pools being properly cleaned and dealt with when this happens, but having the area unavailable for such a significant part of the day on multiple occasions was frustrating, particularly for families with young children. The presence of life guards or staff on the water slides was inconsistent. Older children just doing what they want despite it being dangerous e.g groups of kids going down the larger slides together. Our room was nice, modern and clean, and overall the hotel was well presented. Unfortunately, I wasn’t particularly impressed with the food or service in the main buffet restaurant. At busy times it felt like a bit of a free-for-all, and although some members of staff were very good, I felt that many could have been more attentive. I had to track them down to order a second drink. However there were a few staff who were lovely. The food was all just a bit meh and nothing special really and I didn’t really enjoy most of my meals. I often just had chips with a cut of meat. Perhaps the food is geared more towards other countries. I also saw a few things that I wouldn’t expect from a five-star resort. On occasions, I saw staff using their phones while working and staff eating while serving or preparing food. On one occasion, I saw a member of staff put a tray of freshly cooked halloumi into a fridge because the serving container was full, however before she did this i saw her take a piece from the tray and eat it. On a positive, some of the chefs accommodated my child’s desire to eat chicken nuggets or a certain shape of pasta and cooked us up a batch specially. There was a second out of hours buffer which was nice however I think there should be more food options as after a few days it’s all a bit samey same. They should also move the hand sanitiser somewhere more visible to encourage guests to sanitise before touching utensils in the buffer Overall, the hotel is modern, clean and has some genuinely lovely facilities, particularly the pool areas. However, I wasn’t wowed by the food or service, and based on my experience.

We are staying here now and it’s a lovely hotel, brand new, lovely sun beds and room for outs amazing. The food really lets it down. The lack of restaurants makes you not feel like you are in a 5 star hotel and when you choose to pay the supplement you find out they are full. This alone makes it not live up to the similar hotels in the area. They should have al a carte included or at least offer premium. 3 days here and been to the same buffet or fast food cafe every meal. The kids club also doesn’t offer that many activities I would have expected a few more interesting ones like cooking. These two things make it feel more 4 star and so I would not return.

Came here on a family trip to come relax and enjoy the beautiful Turkish sun. Pools and activities were the best part for sure as there was so much to do. Sami always hyped activities and always tried his best to include everyone. There’s so many activities for adults and kids! Zefer and Emre always were attentive and gave us everything we needed, drinks, food, water and etc. Definitely recommend coming here if you want to have fun and relax!

Abdullah (Ap0) this bloke is amazing. Always make the children laugh. Nothing is too much for him. Service is amazing. Glass empty.... not for long with Abdullah on shift.
