Trendy Perge Resort & Suites

We have just returned from a week's holiday at Trendy Perge, a brand-new hotel located next to Trendy Lara. The hotel claims to be a 5-star property; however, we found it to be more of a 3-star-plus experience. Firstly, the overall finish leaves a lot to be desired. Everything looks either rushed or cheaply made. There are many unfinished details, paint marks, and areas that appear dirty or worn. The shelf in the shower and the sealant around the shower doors were particularly poor. There was still building dust around light switches and power sockets. Pros: The pools are large and excellent. There are plenty of sun loungers available, so finding one was never a problem, even later in the day. This may change when the hotel becomes busier. The lobby bar is fantastic and offers excellent service. The Guest Relations team is very helpful and quick to resolve any issues or requests. Barman at Prime Pub was lovely and provided great service. The minibar is replenished daily. Rooms are cleaned every day, although the floors are often left dirty. Cons: Service (apart from the lobby bar) is an absolute joke. Most staff barely speak basic English, which made communication very frustrating. We often had to speak to two or three different staff members just to order what we wanted. At most bars, there is little to no table service. Most of the waiters seem to be there only to collect empty glasses rather than take orders. Drinks in the main restaurant take ages to arrive and often turn up after you've finished eating. Water is rarely topped up, and I'm still waiting for the beer I ordered after they ran out of draft beer in the main restaurant. You're lucky if you get spare napkins in the main restaurant, let alone wet wipes. There are no tissues provided in the rooms unless you specifically ask for them. Even after receiving some, they are never replenished unless requested again. Food The food is basic, fatty, and very repetitive. Most days it's the same dishes over and over again, with only one or two stations changing, and even then it's usually the same ingredients presented in a slightly different way. If you're vegetarian or trying to eat healthily, forget it. To make matters worse, staff stop cooking fresh food 30–40 minutes before the restaurant closes. If you arrive for dinner around 9:00 pm, you may struggle to find decent options. Everything is removed promptly at closing time. Food options at the night bistro and snack bar are also below expectations—repetitive and generally uninspiring. Entertainment The entertainment is basic, short, and just as repetitive as the food. Evening shows feel more like gap fillers than genuine entertainment. There is often live music at the central bar, which is pleasant enough, but it's so loud that you can't sit outside and have a conversation. There is no quiet outdoor area to escape to when it's on. Overall, this is a very basic hotel with terrible service and even worse food. We've had better experiences in 3-star hotels in the past. I'm not sure how this property has achieved a 5-star rating, as it falls well below the average standard. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel . Amazing staff . Only moan food could be a bit warmer. Spotlessly clean everywhere. We arrived the day after opening and upgraded to a suite as it was my husband’s birthday. Awaiting in the room was a lovely birthday cake and tray of fruit which was a beautiful touch . I’d definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it .

We stayed here the last week of May with kids aged 13, 8 and 4. To summarise our experience: Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Entertainment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rooms. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kids club ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beach/Pools ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed just 2 weeks after opening, and haven’t read any reviews or seen real life photos. The facilities and rooms are finished to a very nice standard and everything is brand new. Minibars are restocked daily. Check in process was a bit too complicated for us having arrived at 3am after a long flight delay. Rooms are cleaned daily. We stayed in 2 bed deluxe family room (it looked exactly as in our booking). Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Food selection was very good throughout the day across the site. We did not drink much alcohol, the choice of non alcoholic drinks wasn’t great. Mostly tap fizzy drinks, with bottled options available at the lobby bar only. Major let down was the kids club. They did not have much for my older kids 13 and 8, and the mini disco wasn’t great. Beach transfer is few minutes by boat and organised very efficiently and was always very pleasant ride. Beach itself is also good and the sea was amazing. Pools and waterpark are very good, sunbeds always available but might get busier later on. Entertainment is much weaker than in other hotels we’ve been in the area, shows are repetitive and not well rehearsed. Spa facilities and fitness club is very good. The only let down was the massage which was subpar for the price. Overall it’s a good hotel and you get what you pay for. It’s not a 5* luxury resort, but a compact and nice 4+* which will hopefully be improving the service through more staff training.

We arrived on 15th May ( opening day) for an 11 night stay. On first arrival the hotel is stunning. It was soon made even better when we realised that a lot of the great staff we had met over the years of visiting Trendy Lara next door 9 times had come over to work in Trendy Perge. We were upgraded to a Swim Up room which was absolutely lovely and kept spotlessly clean by the great housekeeping team. We tried both the Italian A La Carte and the Mexican twice. The Mexican was our favourite and the waitress was Lovely (sorry cant remember her name but she did also work next door) We would of liked to go more to the A La Cartes but not many people were booking them. The food in the main Buffet was lovely with a wide variety to choose from. The Food Court was also nice of a Lunchtime. Around the pool of a day we were never without a drink as Arif on the skates was constantly waiting on everyone. The drinks in the hotel are all Branded and cocktails are fab. Expertly made by the fabulous Burcu, Goskel, Zeyd, Gokhan and brought by Sheymas. We loved the Sports Bar and the Lobby Bar. Also a special mention for Katya on Guest Relations too who always went above and beyond.we will no doubt be back

Loved our week at this hotel, the staff across all areas were absolutely lovely, the resort being new is spotless, we had a fab swim up room which had everything we needed. We have a 7 year old who loved the team at the kids club and adults enjoyed getting involved with the activity schedule. Spa is free to use and really lovely. Food is great, and often there are fully plated starters and desserts to enjoy in the main restaurant. Desserts are not the usual death by cake that you get in most all inclusives. Daytime snack bar is great and there is an option for table service. Extensive cocktail menu which was all great. Shout out to the lovely Medeni who delivered us endless cocktails on his roller skates and Burcu and team who made our son so welcome at kids club and remembered his name from day 1. Minor things to improve: - water pressure in room shower could be better - swim up pool could be heated, was a little cold - alacarte restaurants chargeable would like to see some complementary inclusion within the stay - live music at disco bar, have seen better at other resorts in Turkey But considering that the resort had been open 4 days when we checked in was a fabulous experience nonetheless!
