TUI BLUE Sensatori Akra Sorgun

Not our first review and it won't be our last! 18th time and we are already booked in for our 19th. Funnily enough, we met quite a few people this time that were returning guests, so we are definitely not the only ones who come back to this hotel year after year. Could we choose a different hotel in Turkey? Yes, of course, but why would we when we are welcomed like we are members of one big happy family. The menus in the restaurants have been updated, and the improvements are fantastic. Particularly for us in Safran (Turkish), this restaurant we visited maybe once on each trip: this time we went three times. Not only because of the lovely staff, namely Harun and Serdar but also the food was so much better. Loved the adult part that they have introduced this year too. Mehmet and Emin in Olive welcomed us in on each occasion we dined there. Service with a smile, relaxing and informal. Our favourite glass of red and rose put on the table within minutes. The chef even gives us a wave now. There is so much choice on the menu, it really does suit every taste. Ocean was also lovely, albeit a bit chilly, but they have heaters and blankets on hand, so it wasn't a problem. Cihat offered excellent service. Another new introduction this year is Prime, the steak restaurant, offering various cuts of meat and delicious choice of sauces and accompaniments. Ogze was his usual attentive self, being on hand whenever he was needed, to give his outstanding level of service. Our lovely Rose is still there at breakfast every day greeting us with a smile and a pot of hot water. We are so predictable, she even has my glass of wine ready for me at lunchtime. One of our favourite people, Sercan, is now in the main restaurant supervising everyones every need. His hugs are really the best -such a lovely man. Cebraill around the adult pool is outstanding. We rarely didn't have a cocktail or beer in our hands. Now to the bar staff. Hakan, Mehir, Chavo and Billy. You could not meet any lads that are more hardworking. They make it their job to see when we need a drink before we even knew we wanted one. Every night, sat in our favourite spot at the bar was entertaining and fun with these guys. Metin and Ismail (bar captains) keep a watchful eye on them and always are on hand to help if it gets busy. Kamal, Mustafa and the Reception staff are amazing. Nothing really is too much trouble for them. Big shout out to Taner, who I text on many occasions, to check prices for our various stays. Cannot wait to book my 60th celebrations soon. It is the staff that sets this lovely resort apart from the others for us. They welcome us like friends and we miss them like friends when we depart.

This was our first time at this hotel. From the very first moments here, we already had the feeling that this was going to be a wonderful vacation. We accepted an upgrade to a corner suite on the fifth floor (2509), and what a fantastic room that is! Spacious, bright, and with a jacuzzi in the room, it is certainly worth the money making your vacation even more perfect this way. The room had a beautiful view of almost the entire grounds and the sea, as well as the sunbed race at the adult pool, which starts as early as six o'clock in the morning. We were not bothered by this, as we spent the whole week by the sea, but it would be good if the hotel did something about it. This upgrade also included a platter with fruit, nuts, chocolate, etc., and several bottles of spirits. In the evening, the bed was made up again and the towels were replaced. The minibar and the coffee, tea, snacks, cookies, etc., were refilled daily. The room was kept perfectly clean.  The beach is lovely and the sunbeds and umbrellas are spaciously arranged; there is plenty of room for everyone. Ömer got our spot ready every day. And the man with the hat (forgot his name) provided us with drinks every day. These two men are irreplaceable at the beach! We spent a day in a cabana—what a treat! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail; you can order food and drinks via your phone and the champagne was already chilled—a real VIP day 👌🏽 Breakfast was a feast every day, our favorite mealtime. So much choice, everything freshly prepared. And for lunch, always gözleme on the beach with a delicious ayran. We only ate à la carte on the first day, at The Ocean. That was delicious. We had planned to eat à la carte more often beforehand, but the buffet restaurant was of such high quality and offered so much variety every day that we dined there every day for that reason, with the gala night as the highlight.  We were well looked after all week by Ido, our regular waiter, who knows his trade perfectly and is very friendly. All the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. In the afternoons, we always took a delicious takeaway coffee with oat milk and homemade chocolates from Başka Ol back to our room; super! The evening entertainment is very fun and varied, with the Quizstorm as a daily fixture, which is presented in a fun way. The live music in the Clubhouse is very varied, something for everyone, covering diverse genres. We enjoyed the fact that it wasn't just "easy holiday music" but also included, for example, a rock band with some heavier music. They do that well at this hotel! Unfortunately, tomorrow is the time to go home. Thank you for a wonderful stay. It has been a delightful pampering holiday and we would love to come back! Diana & Joris

As this was our 7th time at this hotel we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed by the friendly reception staff with a glass of pink bubbly whilst we completed our check in. We did ask for a room in a certain area which we like an this was offered to us, so all good. Not many changes since our visit last November but everything looks sparkling and clean and the grounds exceptional, well done to all the grounds staff. It was great to meet up with old friends who we have met over the years and see staff memebers and management who always did their jobs with pride and a smile. Thank you once again for a superb 3 weeks and look forward to seeing you in November.

We stayed at the TUI BLUE Akra Sorgun for the first two weeks of May with our two children (aged 2 and 4), and it was genuinely the best all-inclusive holiday we’ve had as a family. Food - Easily the best buffet food we’ve experienced at any all-inclusive hotel - Exceptional quality, freshness and variety at every meal - Plenty of options for both adults and children - The standard of the food was consistently excellent throughout the stay Kids’ Club - There is both a baby club and kids’ club, running 6 days a week (closed Thursdays) - The baby club is for under 3s and costs approximately £10 for a 2-hour session - The kids’ club is free - Sessions run from 10am–12pm and 2pm–4pm - Our children absolutely loved going every day - Huge thank you to Ellie, Emma, Caitlin and Ryan and the entire kids’ club team, who were warm, caring, energetic and fantastic with the children throughout our stay - The clubs were a major part of what made the holiday so enjoyable for us as parents Entertainment Team - The entertainment team completely made the holiday for us - Dan, Sasha and Eden were absolutely outstanding and deserve huge credit for the atmosphere and experience at the hotel - They were brilliant with children, full of energy every day and evening, and made the resort feel genuinely welcoming and fun - Our children adored them and we’ll remember them as a huge part of why this holiday felt so special - Evening entertainment was also excellent every night and far beyond what we expected from an all-inclusive resort Weather - Early May weather was a little mixed - We had around 3–4 days of heavy rain and storms - However, the rest of the holiday was sunny, warm and beautiful, so overall we still had plenty of fantastic weather during the trip We would recommend the hotel without hesitation, especially for families with young children looking for a baby club

We had the most amazing experience at this hotel. As an all inclusive holiday it was fantastic - excellent variety of yummy food and top quality service and entertainment all round. We had the added bonus of getting married here and it was the most special day and experience we could have asked for. A massive shout out to the fantastic Anna and team for making us feel so loved and looked after. Highly recommend.
