Food excellent, the best experienced in all inclusive. À la cartes easy to book. Location beautiful about 5 minutes in a taxi to Side. Hotel kept clean and restaurants spotless. Here’s where it gets complicated…….. Hotel caters for children but split into two sections for families and adults. Complete segregation everywhere including restaurants. This means one pool caters for families and it’s nowhere near big enough, it’s massively over crowded. Be prepared to get up at 4am to get a bed. They say you can’t reserve beds but no one monitors this. No time to have a relaxing morning at this hotel. One day a child poo’d in the pool and it was closed for 4 hours. But children still weren’t allowed in the adult pool! Entertainment is extremely poor!!!! This hotel needs to seriously consider are they family orientated or not as they want the best of both worlds and it doesn’t work!

Absolutely incredible hotel, staff, surroundings. I cannot fault one thing. I became poorly whilst there which led to me being hospitalised, the hotel staff went out of their way to check on the welfare of my partner and children whilst I was in hospital, not to mention on my return they checked on me. The food is incredible. The rooms are beautiful and the whole hotel is spotless. The staff are genuinely nice and will make you feel special. We will be back.

We have just returned from our 2nd visit to this beautiful hotel and once again we had such a wonderful time. What we feel that makes this hotel is the fantastic staff that certainly go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and that's thanks to the incredible hard working gardeners. They are absolutely immaculate. Food here is also a massive highlight. The buffet restaurant is an absolute delight and the presentation exceptional. We enjoyed breakfast and most lunches there served by the very professional and hard working Semih. He is a credit to the hotel and certainly kept our red wine topped up! We also had the pleasure again this year to be served by the lovely and very friendly Mehmet and he certainly knew we enjoyed our red wine too. Staff like this really do enhance your dining experience along with the incredible views in the outside adult section. We had several lunches and a dinner at Olive and the food was excellent and the service by Emin just topped the occasion. This guy certainly went above and beyond and a credit to the hotel. We enjoyed the 2 other a la cartes and had fantastic food and excellent service but im sorry I have forgotten the names but totally enjoyed our visits. The bar staff work so hard and produce some great drinks . We enjoyed The Bar for pre dinner drinks and all staff amazing but have to mention the lovely Dogan who just makes the best cocktails and so much detail into them. The clubhouse was another favourite of ours late afternoons and then again for the evening entertainment. Ibrahim, Ahmet, Billaj and of course Hakan just were amazing keeping us all topped up and entertained. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment but did miss The Victor and Mdu from last year. We enjoyed participating in the aqua fit with Sophie and Abdo. The room was kept cleaned very well by our lovely housekeeper and mini bar always topped up. The beach was our spot daily and was great to see the amazing hard working Omar who remembered us from last year . Now this guy is just the best. He does not stop and is just super friendly. Also on the beach was great to see Sedriggen. Sorry not spelt correctly but he is absolutely amazing too. He is another one who doesn't stop and always smiling. Absolutely amazing staff on the beach along with the lovely ladies who we saw daily and always greeted us daily with a huge smile. Would also like to mention the adorable lady working at the Goxleme house. We remembered each other from last year. She always took the time to wave to us when we passed. We have never used this place to eat but my daughter who was there the week before us said how amazing the food was from this lovely lady. The adults pool bar staff and especially the guy that delivers the drinks deserve a mention too. So hardworking. Its great to see so many management always around and it was wonderful this year to be introduced to the GM who we had a good chat with and I could personally tell him what a wonderful hotel it is with the most amazing staff who just make your holiday. Im sorry if I have missed any names but just want to thank every single member of staff who just made our holiday that more special We hope to revisit next year and hope to see them all again. After travelling to the Caribbean and Mexico we decided to visit Turkiye again, having been to lots of different resorts and hotels. It is not very often we return to a hotel again. If that happens it must be truly exceptional. Akra Sorgun stands above its competitors for a number of reasons. It has absolutely fabulous staff, whose sole mission is to enhance your visit and make you want to return again and again. The Hotel is modern. All rooms have a sea view and its located 1 hour from Antalya airport. I would recommend a private transfer. We use Dursun Side. There is a local bus stop outside the hotel taking you into Side and Manavgat. The surroundings are beautiful, from the gardens to the beach. The food has to be the best we have had anywhere, with so much choice for everyone, and with so much attention to detail. The main restaurant has theme nights each evening. All a la carte restaurants are excellent with great menus. At the Olive Italian, we would like to thank Mehmet Ulker for looking after us during our visit. The Safran Turkish restaurant is newly refurbished, and we love it! It has a great new adult dining area and great new menu this year. Thankyou to Hurun for looking after us. He is attentive, friendly and treats us like friends during our stay. The beach is wide and immaculate. Don't forget to bring scuba shoes with you, as the sand gets very hot. There are stones as you get into the sea, but once you are in the sand is soft . Thankyou to the following staff members: Semih: Main restaurant, breakfast and lunchtime. He always gives such a warm welcome each day. He is professional and gives amazing customer service; such a credit to your team. Atilla: Works lunchtime at ocean, and main restaurant in the evenings. He is such a fantastic member of staff. He ensures you have the best dining experience. Thankyou for our special decorated table each evening Omar: Works on the beach. He greets everyone each day. He never stops working! Just tell him where you want to be located and he will raise up your parasol and ensure that you have enough towels. Thankyou for our lucky charms. Our 4th different Sensatori holiday and by far the best to date. Resort itself is spotless and well maintained. Plenty of lovely open green space. Spent most days at the family pool and well looked after, with attentive staff and life guards on duty throughout. The hotel seems to get all the little things right eg fresh towels available at convenient locations and without the need for towel cards and unnecessary rules. Plenty of loungers available too so no need for the usual early morning scramble. Adult area seemed lovely too but perhaps a swim up bar would have been even better. The staff were amazing from start to finish and couldn’t do enough for us. The food lovely throughout the various restaurants. You can have a sit down meal off a menu everyday and A’la cart available in the evenings. These restaurants were all fab. The buffet was lovely and easily the best we have experienced. Lots of choice and the quality was excellent. The entertainment was great with some excellent shows. You get kids well catered for with kids clubs and activities. Perhaps less to do for older teenagers but as we travelled with a 10 year old, we found the range excellent. The hotel located 10 minute taxi ride away from Side, which is well worth a visit. All in all, absolutely loved our stay. Usually after 10 days we are ready to come home but not this year. We would happily stay even longer.
