On behalf of our party of six we had an outstanding two weeks stay, for the second year in s row. Each year supersedes the fun and brilliance of the previous year! The facility is extremely well kept and exceedingly catering to any and all needs. A wide variety of entertainment was outstanding!! There were many standouts we would like to acknowledge led by the captain Suat - can't put in words how stellar Suat is to the whole resort! Other standouts are in the Spa & Wellness area run by Omer, Serkan and Natallia. Eka and Indri took amazing care of us. Gabriel was the "boss" around the pool, spoiling us every day! Enes and Huseyin were so kind in the restaurant. Please forgive me if I missed several names. There are too many to count, the whole staff everywhere made sure we were comfortable at all times. Do we recommend this resort, ABSOLUTELY YES!

We stayed at Akra Sorgun as a family with my wife and our teenage daughter, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. We first stayed here back in 2019 when it was the Barut Sorgun, so we were excited to see what it would be like after the recent refurbishment under the Akra brand. What a transformation! The hotel has been completely modernised and it looks absolutely stunning. The rooms are beautiful, modern and finished to a very high standard, while the restaurants and public areas have all been tastefully updated. The whole resort has a luxury feel without losing its relaxed atmosphere. The grounds are simply immaculate. You constantly see the gardening team working throughout the day, and it really shows. Every part of the hotel is beautifully maintained and it’s clear that everyone takes great pride in keeping the resort looking its best. The food is excellent, with a huge amount of choice in the main buffet restaurant, all fresh and beautifully presented. The à la carte restaurants are also fantastic and definitely worth booking, giving you even more variety throughout your stay. Another lovely touch was the coffee shop. It quickly became one of our favourite places to stop during the day, offering a fantastic selection of freshly made coffees, delicious cakes, pastries, desserts and ice cream. It’s these little extras that really make Akra Sorgun stand out from many other five-star resorts. We were also celebrating our daughter’s 16th birthday, so we treated ourselves to one of the beach cabanas for the day. It was worth every penny and made her birthday even more special. Having your own private space right on the beach, a fridge stocked with drinks and fresh fruit, and attentive waiter service throughout the day—bringing food, cocktails and anything else you needed—felt like a real luxury. It was one of the highlights of our holiday. The evening entertainment deserves a special mention too. Every night there were excellent live bands and professional shows that created a brilliant atmosphere without ever feeling over the top. The biggest compliment I can give, though, goes to every member of staff. From the reception team and restaurant staff to the bar staff, housekeeping, gardeners and everyone working behind the scenes, every single person was friendly, welcoming and genuinely couldn’t do enough for you. The customer service was exceptional and exactly what you’d expect from a true five-star resort. For anyone thinking of booking, I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Akra Sorgun. If you’re looking for a genuine five-star holiday with beautiful surroundings, fantastic food, outstanding entertainment and staff who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable, this is the place. We absolutely loved every minute of our holiday and will definitely be returning. A huge thank you to the entire Akra Sorgun team. You should all be incredibly proud of what you’ve created. We came here last August for the first time and had an amazing 2 week holiday. The staff here truly make this my favourite place in Turkey and I've been over 30 times. We have spent the last month looking for a different hotel for this year even considered the Akra Fethiye and we have given up and just booked to come back here in August. Nothing seemed to compare! My 9 year old loved the kids club which she has never used before on a holiday but here she went most days in the afternoon. My 18 year old who I thought may want to book a hotel with slides was not interested in going elsewhere. He's a foodie and the food here is another level . I just read the review on here that gave the food a lower rating and I'm struggling to understand this at all, the chefs here are the best and I love the daily show food. We loved the buffet so much we didn't try The Ocean or Olive in the evening so this year we will definitely try them. The Turkish restaurant was lovely and service amazing. We are looking forward to seeing Muslum again who looked after us so well, he's such a great guy but all the staff here are wonderful. Just over 5 weeks to wait to be back at this wonderful place. If I had one little complaint our room was low down so we had a view of the swimming pool roof rather than seaview. But we didn't ask to be moved and I am sure if we had they would have tried.

Great comfortable rooms all facing the sea and good quality a/c. Great food options and anyone who cannot find something to eat needs to look at themselves we loved all the themed nights ie Turkish night, sea food, East Asian, Italian nights and more. There’s always options food wise. We found the entertainment very good and especially enjoyed the Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston nights, there was a pink tribute who was an excellent singer but I didn’t really know pinks songs. On top of the main stage acts there’s a live band on in the outside bar who were also very good for me the ildivo act was brilliant and hopefully on when we return, The staff are mostly brilliant with just a few that struggle smiling or acknowledging people, Durgal in the breakfast and lunch bar stood out as did many many others but I can’t remember their names, good to see Metin and Ennes again. The staff at reception are very helpful and polite with a smile and always there for us day and night to get cabs or advise on some issues outside of the hotel. We stayed up at the pool this year as the drinks guy is another excellent staff member water and cold coffee stuff at 10 and drinks through the day in all that heat. Finally the entertainment manager and the big boss are both approachable and friendly and a true professional leaders to their staff. We can’t wait to get back

You arrive stressed from work and school and cannot help but leave relaxed after being looked after so well in beautiful surroundings. The hotel is spotless, the food delicious with plenty to chose from. My mum is celiac and has eaten like royalty this week. We have been before and love coming back as the staff are so kind and welcoming. My daughter (now 10) adors the place. This year both my mum and I visited the spa, which is exceptional. I had personalized massages (lumphatic drainage, reflexology and hot stones) with the male massuse - just superb. And mum and I both had facials, felt wonderful after and all worth every single penny. Cannot recommend enough. We also had a family visit to the hairdressers, for cuts, blow dries, manacures and my mum had mircoblading. All again fantastic and highly recommended. Even got my husband along for some beard grooming and a hair cut. All so friendly and a great experience all round. I defy anyone not to have a wonderful holiday here. If you are in doubt, book it and make some time for the spa!
