TUI MAGIC LIFE Masmavi

We had a fabulous holiday at masmavi. The hotel and grounds were really well kept. Staff we encountered were always polite and friendly. Room- basic rooms but clean and spacious with shampoo/hand wash provided. No smart tv but our children still watched German cartoons. Mini bar with water and soft drinks but only water topped up during our stay. 3 coffee pods provided and literature stating addition pods could be purchased and mini bar tailored at cost. This seemed a shame. At previous AL resorts we’ve also had snacks and alcohol that have been topped up each day. AC really good, after a few days it wasn’t too cool but reception swiftly got it fixed. A pillow menu and step in bathroom for children would also be a bonus. Pools: Our kids loved the various pools, slides and splash park. Family pool slightly warmer and a pool you can walk into 120-135cm was great and only plastic cups at the pools. Lots of loungers, more added to grass areas as half term started and the hotel got busier so that was good. Communal areas well maintained and cleaned. Great to see steps in communal bathrooms for young kids. Ice creams from 12pm, chips at bar near beach was handy. Kids activities: parks good but probably tailored to 6 and under. Cute mini golf but usually busy. Arcade and rides but payable. Our kids didn’t try kids club as they wanted to dip in and out. To do this you had to register daily at either 9.30am or 3.30pm. Also saw an indoor area with good AC, floor mats, feeding chairs and baby toys. It looked lovely if you wanted a quiet cool area for your little ones to play and relax. Entertainment: we only saw a magician for kids one night, wasn’t clear from app if other entertainment an we usually didn’t come out from dinner until 8.30pm. The dancing, acrobatics and sax player were really good from what we saw. Also some themed nights. Kids loved the bouncy castle, rides and characters one night. Beach: lovely soft sand, kids park and lots of loungers and shade. Foam party was a hit with the kids. Food: we did find some things same ish each night but also small themed areas each night and show cooking and sometimes musicians walking around singing and playing instruments. Food replenished quickly. Staff friendly and polite but sometimes it did feel more staff were needed to take drinks orders or clear away. We really enjoyed the buffet overall. The buffet at the beach and burgers was also good. We enjoyed the à la carte. an array of starters you then just pick your main and dessert at Indian and just main at Turkish restaurant. To truly lift from 4+ to 5 I’d recommend a restaurant where they have table service, more than chips at a snack bar, smart tvs, fully stocked mini bar, steps in rooms for little ones and pillow menu. These seem like mainly easy fixes. Some may suggest more cocktails or premium alcohol be added to AL but to keep costs lower I’d be happy with just the other extras. Overall we had a lovely holiday and I’d certainly recommend and would love to come back with my family again. Hope this full review is helpful!

**Location:** The hotel’s location is excellent — quite close to the airport, right on the beachfront, with a wide sandy beach. **Territory:** The hotel grounds are amazing, very green, and perfect for walking around. I would also like to highlight the shaded areas for children with canopies for protection from the sun. Overall, this is a wonderful place for families with kids. You can easily get around with a stroller, and there are several playgrounds (on the beach, near the main building, and by the pool). **Food:** The food was delicious and varied. There are options both for children and adults (16+). You can dine indoors or on beautiful terraces. On the downside, the tables were not cleaned very well, and air conditioners often dripped condensation onto people’s heads or walkways. **Rooms:** We had 3 Village category rooms. They were cozy and nicely furnished, **BUT** already quite outdated. The shower doors did not close properly, and there was mold in the bathroom. The lighting was terrible — too dark. The bathroom especially, could use brighter lighting. During our stay, only about half of the cleaning days actually felt like the room had been cleaned. **Service:** Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The animation team was absolutely outstanding. On the downside, one time when the children were on the water slides, the water was turned off because it was closing time. However, they could have waited until the children finished going down. Instead, the kids had to slide down dry slides, which caused scrapes on their hands — in my opinion, this is unacceptable! Also, the worst situation happened during check-in (02.06). We were kept waiting at reception from 5:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., with promises every hour that at least 1 of our 3 rooms would be ready “within an hour,” only for the wait to be extended again and again. I honestly don’t understand why this was handled that way. If they had simply told us from the start that there would be no rooms available, we would have gone to relax at another hotel, considering we had traveled almost 19 hours with two children aged 11 and 2. Our holiday was absolutely wonderful. This was our second time staying at this hotel, and we returned because of the amazing people who work here. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and caring reception team – Kadir, Seda, and Sibel. They were always ready to help with anything we needed. We would also like to thank Yasin and Murathan from Guest Services, who were always smiling, checking if everything was okay, and making sure guests felt comfortable and well looked after. The main reason we came back is the incredible staff. Everyone, from the service team and housekeeping to the kitchen staff and groundskeepers, is friendly, professional, and always smiling. They create such a positive atmosphere and make guests feel genuinely welcome and appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful. The grounds are exceptionally well maintained, with stunning flowers, shrubs, and trees everywhere you look. It is truly a breathtaking place. There are several pools, and the beach is right next to the hotel, making the location perfect. The food was excellent. There was always plenty of choice, and everyone could find something they liked. Although some dishes were repeated, we enjoyed everything and were very satisfied. A special thank you to Mehmet Ali from the restaurant service team for his kindness, constant smile, and willingness to help at all times. The entertainment was fantastic and of a very high standard. Special greetings to Bryant, Melissa and Cetin! The dancers, DJs, performances, and event decorations were all outstanding and professionally organised. We were impressed every evening. We stayed in a Village Room. The rooms could benefit from some refurbishment, but it did not affect our holiday at all, as we mainly returned to the room just to sleep. At the Pool Bar, we would like to thank Emin for his constant smile, positive attitude, and excellent service. We would also like to thank Irfan, Demet, and Erkan for their friendliness, helpfulness, and kind words throughout our stay. In the afternoons, we loved sitting on the terrace at Wunderbar. Our favourite bartenders, Hayrullah, Salih, and Busra, always came over to check on us, remembered our favourite drinks, and made us feel special. They are truly wonderful people. A special thank you to Serdar from Public Relations for his care and attention. He genuinely shows how much the hotel values and looks after its guests. Finally, we would like to mention our beloved Rifat, who worked tirelessly around the pool area. I have rarely seen someone so dedicated to their job. Even in the intense heat, he was always working hard, running around with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. Thanks to him, our tables by the pool were always clean and ready for us. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to return again! ❤️

3rd visit for us! Travelling with 2kids age 3&8 - Location is fab, everything you need is onsite. 30mins from airport if travelling by private transfer (TUI coach can take upto 1hr 40 depending where you are on the list) Atmosphere is wonderful, staff cant do enough. Get to know the managers as they want to help and make sure you have a good stay. Louisa took special care of us and remedied any issues straightaway (Beds were too hard for kids so she had mattress toppers added) She helped us get a cancellation for a Cabana/Beach hut and checked in with us regularly if we needed anything - even checked we got home okay. Rooms are great, website doesnt give good descriptions but each time i stayed there have been two “rooms” with a bathroom between to divide them - perfect for those with little ones; would also highly recommend a lagoon room, worth the upgrade for being able to potter between your room and the pool. (Note website says swim up and that is a loose term - the pool runs in front of the balcony therefore ground floor can walk straight out from theirs but 2 floors above isnt quite as good. The hotel will accommodate to move you if an issue - we were on ground floor but they helped people next door to us. It is great value for money, i searched high and low to match what this hotel offers and could not find it. Everyone at the hotel said the same, nothing compares for the money/location/quality/staff. Its a real gem!

TUI Magic Life Masmavi has an atmosphere that truly draws you in. Among the many holiday experiences I’ve had, this place stands out because every guest’s needs have clearly been considered and thoughtfully designed for. There is a different beauty in every corner of the hotel. It is very clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. The staff are extremely welcoming and sincere.
