The location of the hotel is not the best. It's about an 8 minute walk to the beach (or take the free bus) and 15 minutes walk to Side. We booked a seaview room and there was a bit of a Fawlty Towers moment when I had to ask where the sea was, but it was probably worth paying the extra to get a higher room, as noise does travel up from the reception area. I was a bit worried when I read the reviews after I had booked as so many of them said they treated the English badly. To the contrary we found that we were treated with nothing but kindness. The cleaners, bar staff, waiters, even the man in the opticians were all friendly, helpful and English speaking to some extent. The food was standard buffet fare, but seemed freshly prepared and the whole hotel is spotless. The management team were apparent, ensuring that the operation ran smoothly. The waiters get to know the guests and we often had drinks on the table as soon as we sat down (thank you Dogus). All in all we have had a very pleasant stay.

**Verdict:** Great staff and superb spa, but the resort falls short of a true five‑star experience, the beach, entertainment, and CAT hygiene issues are unacceptable and spoilt the pristine cleanliness of the hotel. --- **Staff and service** The staff are the hotel’s strongest asset. **Dogukan** deserves immediate promotion and a pay rise he was unfailingly proactive, professional, and genuinely committed to guests’ comfort. Several other team members were outstanding; front of house and dining staff consistently impressed with warmth and efficiency. Housekeeping was exemplary our room was spotless even after returning muddy from excursions, and the cleaner was both thorough and polite. --- **Spa and treatments** The spa is exceptional. The **Hamam wash** and the two treatments I had and the one my wife had, were world class; the therapists delivered a luxurious, restorative experience that felt regal. The only minor annoyance was when collecting towels for the pool or beach, the Spa salesperson would pounce on you to sell, but the quality of the treatments more than compensated. --- **Entertainment and information failures** The entertainment staff were outsanding, however the offering was weak and poorly communicated. The website and pre arrival materials promised a full programme that simply did not exist. The disco ran only every other night, and most shows were squeezed into the dining room where they were forced to stop early so dinner service could resume. Much of the entertainment could and should have been staged in the disco room instead. The resort’s guest information is outdated and misleading, crucial details about facilities and local services were missing or incorrect. --- **Beach and resort infrastructure** The beach was the biggest disappointment and a clear failure for a property marketed as five star. Access signage is inadequate, the path becomes impassable in wet weather, and parts of the beachfront remain a construction site. Promised beach bars and food outlets were shabby portacabins, with little or no signage to say which was what, closed well before advertised hours and food and drink options were not advertised, this would be helpful due to language barriers. The result: a muddy, unfinished, and poorly managed beachfront that undermines the entire resort experience. --- **Hygiene concern** Allowing hotel cats into the dining room is unacceptable. I witnessed a cat jump onto a guest’s plate and run off. This is a serious hygiene breach and must be addressed immediately. there should also be a warning when booking that the hotel have many cats, fed and cared for by the lady on the excursions desk, as some guest maybe allergic, like my sister would not be able to have stayed in this hotel. --- **Local information and guest support** The hotel provided little useful guidance about nearby attractions or dining options. We only discovered the old town two days before we left, and an excellent restaurant through other guests. The hotel should supply accurate, up to date local recommendations and note which restaurants offer pickup for reservations. the two onsite Al-a-carte restaurants, only opened one night a week, although we didnt try these, one couple we met tried and was cancelled due to lack of bookings and another walked out, when the food was delivered as they said it was so bad. --- **Overall impression and recommendation** We enjoyed our break because of the **people** and the **spa**, but the resort did not deliver the five star standard we paid for. If you visit in high summer when facilities are fully operational, it may be a very different experience. I would return for the staff and the spa, but not at Easter the shortcomings in beach access, entertainment, and hygiene make it unsuitable outside peak season. Fantastic hotel very freindly staff and fellow holiday makers ,of all nationalitys .Good location walk or get free bus to private beach .Food was amazing .Hairdresser inside hotel fantastic along with bag shop and other small shop on lower floor.This hotel should pride itself on all the staff cleaners ,bar staff and reception staff, porter etc were great.I would definatley recomend to couples or freinds .Fantastic week already booking for next year.
