Vox Maris Resort Hotel

Vox Maris Resort is absolutely fantastic! I was a bit worried about some of the reviews but honestly was amazing. Do not believe the negative reviews!! I have no idea what people are talking about when they said British are treated bad because that was so not the case.. we are Scottish and the staff loved us! Nothing was too much trouble. The night we arrived we were greeted at the door and the bell boy took our bags, once we checked in he showed us to our room and was very welcoming. The bar staff were lovely and went above and beyond for us, we didn't even need to ask they saw us coming and remembered our order. Shout out to Ozzy the roller skater server, he was always having a laugh with us and made sure we always had drinks while we were by the pool. We felt quite hungover one day so he even went to the trouble of making us a hangover cure drink. The food stop area was brilliant, you don't have to get what's on the menu.. for example you can alter your pizza toppings and it was no trouble at all. And it was good quality food, everything was so fresh. The main restaurant buffet was also really good, first all inclusive we have been to where they take your drink order and bring it to you so it's not all self service. Personally the reviews about the hygiene of the cats is stupid, why come to Turkey if you don't like cats? Yes there's loads of cats but they didn't jump on your table etc, they would go around you or under your table just looking for affection.. we personally loved it as we are cat lovers. They are well looked after by the staff and none looked dirty like they had fleas or anything. The room was fantastic, the cleaners done a wonderful job at making sure our room was clean and tidy and also topped up our mini bar. We had a swim up room which was fantastic, it's not a huge pool but it's not small either.. Just what you need for 2 people. There are no silly cardboard signs you put on the door instead there are 2 switches for 'do not disturb' and 'please clean'.. this lights up outside the room so you can make the cleaning staff aware. The main pool area and slides were really good, depending on time of day we had no problem getting 2 sunloungers together and when we couldn't find any we weren't waiting long till they became available. Adults only is the way to go also as it was so relaxed and there wasn't any annoying noise or rowdiness. We would 100% come back this hotel, the staff were absolutely fantastic and tret us like royalty. Highly recommend!! Do not take notice of the negative reviews!

Having a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The food is excellent, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained. What really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every member of the team has been friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The entertainment is also excellent, with something for everyone and a great atmosphere in both days and the evenings. The location is another big plus. It’s only a short bus ride from the ancient ruins of Side, making it easy to explore one of the area’s most fascinating historical attractions while enjoying all the comforts of the hotel. A wonderful holiday experience from start to finish.

Currently still in turkey and it has not disappointed. Vox Maris is a great hotel, the rooms are lovely it was cleaned on a daily basis no issues at all with the cleanliness, also providing daily drinks in the fridge and snacks, bath robes slippers which was nice. The food is great had so much selection on the buffet, the daily grill, pool food bar so you will never go hungry and there is something for everyone. The staff are fantastic so friendly and always catering to people’s needs cannot fault them. There is entertainment daily and something different every single night. Overall have had a great holiday and will recommend this hotel and would return 😊

Im absolutely shocked how this hotel gets a 4 star review on trip advisor. We were concerned reading the reviews but we shouldn't have been. There's no issue whatever nationality you are! The hotel is spotless. You get robes, slippers and mini bar in your room. Everyone is so friendly and the staff are just fabulous. I honestly dont think it makes any difference if you tip them or not, they will give you their best but please understand 100 Turkish lira is only about £2 so just leave them a little if you are happy with their service? When you are on the sunloungers theres a QR code to scan for drinks and I think thats a lovely touch. The food is perfectly acceptable and enjoyable. The range of drinks is better than ive seen in any other all inclusive. The old town is 15min walk away. Ive read reviews that say 45 min which is just rubbish. We wont go back to many places but this one we would for sure. We stayed in a land view room that was so quiet as most people upgrade or book the pool view. We overslept breakfast many times 🤣 The hotel has a couple of resident cats, they are mostly in the lounge, they dont sit a at your table while youre eating? We love cats so its no issue but its not over run with cats or anything. Special thanks to Sinan and Yusef at the lounge bar that made our evenings perfect. They are so accommodating if you fancy a drink thats not on the menu, they will try their best to create a drink you like ! Dont hesitate to book this hotel!
