A bit late posting this (Jan 26) as we were awaiting the outcome of the potential sale which may have impacted our return - now it's business as usual and we've booked again for May 2026. Great service at check in - we arrived in the early hours so no other guests around, but staff were ready prepared and waiting at the front doors. Our 2nd visit here, this time for my 70th birthday, and there was a marked difference in that the food quality had dropped slightly which we believe was due to the rumours of the hotel being sold off away from Rixos - now things are confirmed we are returning and hope to see the many smiling faces of staff that that welcomed us before. There are too many names to mention but the biggest 'shout out' is to Mr Maher from Guest Relations - he is the coolest guy on site, completely unfazed by anything. He assisted in arranging my 70th celebrations at L'Olivo, was the complete live wire at the Oktoberfest day, and his attention to detail in remembering a clients requests are phenomenal *Note to the General Manager - please make sure he doesn't leave!! We were allocated, as requested, an accessible room for our needs and this was perfect for us to get around the complex using my mobility scooter (the access to Turquoise buffet restaurant is still a challenge due to the ramps being either side of the entrance doors and needs addressing). As many others have written, the weekend entertainment (often with quite loud Turkish 'rock cover' bands) can be a shock for many but we now know what to expect. Heavy rain affected our stay for a couple of days and staff coped fairly well - temperatures were lower than seasonal normal especially at night and more effort with outside heating should have been made as the inside areas became overcrowded after dinner. Although the Lumin app is, from the Rixos perspective, a step forward many of us preferred the old fashioned WhatsApp contact which felt more personal that having AI deciding how to address our queries. Pre booking dinner reservations seemed a bit hit & miss via that app as we felt as it wasn't easy to track bookings once made, but accept it's the way forward. *Housekeeping note - we hope you've started replacing the towels which felt a bit like using sandpaper (not really what to expect at a 5* Rixos). The shuttle boat to the 'secret beach' for lunch is recommended & great to see some of the larger boats from the water - Gocek village is a pleasant 15 minute walk with a mixture of shops, cafes - we ate at one of the harbourside restaurants for a change just to enjoy the evening atmosphere then back to the Rixos for some drinks at the well stocked bar. *Operations/F&B note - some additional lower tables and chairs around Nox bar would be good for those who aren't able to sit on the high stools (vs the limited number currently available just behind Daidala). See you in May, Marie & Paul.

Rixos Premium Gocek is not only one of the best hotels on the Turkish Riviera but one of the best in general. The location is spectacular, featuring a stunning marina view that makes for perfect sunsets, and the landscaping is incredibly beautiful—it feels like staying in a lush, green sanctuary. The service was world-class. A huge shout-out to Operational Manager Ibrahim, who made our stay exceptional. His hospitality and professionalism truly made a difference. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxury escape!

We spent a week here end of October and thought it was spectacular. Our room was beautiful and were were upgraded on arrival. It was near the reception so there was a little road noise but nothing that bothered us and we preferred this location to being near the live bands in the evening. The grounds are beautiful as is the position at the marina. We had sun bends easily each day although there were people going out very early each day to grab their fave spots! The food at the buffet was just amazing - a huge range and variety of food. We are not usually buffet people but we really enjoyed eating here most nights. Lots of healthy options and lots of local food too. Its not open lunchtime so we would hop on the free boat to the private beach and eat over there. The little cafe area has wonderful food where you help yourself, and we also ate at Azur lots where you can be waited on - the food was great in both. The cocktails at the beach were amazing as was the staff service for drinks around the pool which was very proactive. A minor issue was that there was only 1 bar open between 6 and 7 when people want pre dinner drinks, so long lines would form and there were not enough servers. The bar at Peoples should be open at this time to ease the pressure and provide better customer service. Also, the bar at the reception area is always open but never manned - we often had to wait there and the staff at reception ignored us until we approached them and asked to be served. We didnt bother with the paid restaurants - the weeks holiday was not cheap so to have these at extra costs I think is a bit too much - and the fact they were extra is not highlighted on the Tui website so we were not aware when we booked. We didnt see them being used much all week and we thoroughly enjoyed the buffet food anyway. The hotels in a great location just a 15 minute walk from the town along the beautiful seafront. The little touches at this hotel make a difference - constant top up of the mini bar, free sweets and ice creams at the pattisserie, and the free boat trip make this a very special place. Although whilst on board the free boat trip the staff were rude and didnt make any announcements or engage with anyone for the entire 3 hours. We travel a lot and were very pleased with our choice - we would recommend if you want to chill, have good food and relax.
