Grand Cettia

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Cettia to celebrate our anniversary. Our flight landed quiet late and our transfer was around 1.5 hrs so we arrived at the hotel pretty late. We recieved a warm reception and were told about the midnight soup for the late arrivals. We had mushroom soup which was lovely and then popped to the bar for turkish tea and cocktails. Our first drink was free but please note that after 11pm drinks are charged. The hotel has a great selection of food throughout the day with different special items in the outside kitchen each evenings. One night some ladies were making traditional cheese flat bread, anothet night was sangria, another nigh was a musician. We met the spa manager Tayfun who arranged a couples Turkish Hammam with mud body scrub and massage for my husband and I for a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and accomodating, Mehmet was particularly helpful in The food w,as excellent and the restaurant and outside dining area was very clean. Staff were always nearby to ensure everything was in order. The all inclusive cocktails/mocktails were lovely, The pool area was very full and lots of kids men enjoyed the pool games. The water wasnt warm enough for me, so were cheered and laughed from the sidelines. We took the number 3 bus to the harbour for 200 Turkish Lira, approx £3.40 and visited the Marmaris castle museum which was very interesting. The room was clean with everything in order. My husband and I would definatly come here again.

Honestly can't knock the place. Apart from being ill the last 2 days me and my family really enjoyed it here. The guys that do the entertainment are phenomenal. There's a guy that literally looks like the Turkish Jimmy Fallon! I literally called him Jimmy all week, nothing is too much for these guys. They'd jump in the pool fully clothed and even go down the slides with the kids. I would definetly recommend.

My partner and our three year old travelled to marmaris in the 2nd week of May. Weather was brilliant. Unfortunately the location is very Very English orientated. Marmaris has been swallowed up with English breakfasts, cheap beer and distasteful guests. If that’s what you look for in a holiday then this is the place for you! I cannot fault the staff at the hotel. All have been so friendly and observant. Sebo at the bar, so brilliant and so friendly, an absolutely gentleman. The entertainment (animation) team always very friendly and approachable. Deniz is such a pleasure. Very funny and so friendly! Lar was lovely with my little boy and he loved his Spider-Man and skeleton face paint! It’s a shame we didn’t get to speak to Barney so much, but he was very busy and always around with a big smile on his face! Hotel was okay. For the price we paid it will do. But I wouldn’t come back. Food was poor and very basic every day. Shows were okay aswell. Nothing to sing and dance about. Very accommodating to the children though. You have to pay for a lot of extras in this hotel. Pool towels don’t come as a complimentary, we did have to also pay for the face paint for my son. After 11 o’clock there is a pub like area to get a drink but you have to pay for them aswell. Shop in the hotel is so over priced so go out to get your inflatables, toys or snacks! WiFi isn’t great but they do offer a WiFi box that… shock horror you have to pay for. You also have to oau if you want more than one room key. Rooms very old and dated, but clean.

We stayed at Grand Cettia Hotel with a group of friends and honestly had such a fantastic time from beginning to end. The hotel has a very welcoming and lively atmosphere, which made it perfect for a fun holiday with friends. From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Check-in was smooth, and throughout our stay we felt very comfortable and well looked after. The rooms were clean, spacious, and cleaned regularly every day. We especially enjoyed spending time around the pool area, which was always energetic and full of activities. The entertainment team did a great job keeping everyone involved with games, music, and evening shows, creating a really enjoyable atmosphere both during the day and at night. The food was another highlight of our stay. There was a wide variety of meals every day, with plenty of options for everyone in our group. Everything was fresh and tasty, and we appreciated being able to try different dishes throughout the holiday. The drinks, snacks, and service around the hotel were also very good. The location of the hotel was convenient as well, with easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants, and the centre of Marmaris. It was easy for us to explore the area and enjoy both relaxing days and fun nights out together. Overall, we made amazing memories here and truly enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We would definitely return again in the future and highly recommend this hotel to couples, families, and especially groups of friends looking for a fun and relaxing stay in Marmaris.
