Ideal Pearl Hotel

Me and my friend came to Ideal Pearl Hotel in Marmaris in October 25 . The hotel is situated in a lovely place and is not far from shops and amenities. The staff from waiters to cleaning staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food and drinks are fantastic , we went All Inclusive. The rooms are OK but small in my opinion ,not much wardrobe space or drawer space but very clean and enough space for 2. The entertainment staff was adorable, Bobby and Diego, they were so funny and made our holiday. The games around the pool was great . We met some lovely people, and would like to thank all the staff there. It was the first time in Turkey 🇹🇷 and definitely not our last . Love the hotel. Love the staff. Love Turkey

The hotel was lovely. Good location and food was really nice and we are picky eaters. Turkish bath was great value for money, much better than other Turkish baths in the area. Everywhere was clean. The chefs did a great job, cleaners and barmen. Especially Hammet. The let down for us was the entertainment. It rained for three days and they did nothing. Just sat smoking. At night there was bingo that they took 90% of the money, a small show from outside but then they just put on a playlist and smoked at the bar. I read so many positive things but we didn’t see this. We were also disappointed with the attitude of the men in reception selling trips. After travelling all night they were ringing us at 10am telling us we must attend the meeting. When we said no they said don’t ask for help with your transfers then. These two things stopped a 5 star review.

Had such a fab time. The staff really made our holiday. Shout out to Ozzy, Gebrielle, Cem, Mehmet, Hassan and Osmar. You guys are amazing and work so hard, as does Mike who was always coming to check we were ok. The staff were particularly kind to my elder aunt Julie who was with our group and sang happy birthday to her multiple times :) The cleaners were also fab and did lovely touches to our beds occasionally which made us smile. Nothing was too much trouble at this lovely well run hotel. I’m a real fuss pot when it comes to buffet food but that was gorgeous and I was never left hungry. Can’t wait to return one day! Oh and Oscar’s Jnr is the place to go, spoilt us every time we went in. Lovely cocktails at reasonable prices, dancing and karaoke and always with fabulous smiles on their faces! Well, this was our 6th visit to this hotel although we haven't been for the last 3 years, we love this place anyway, but it has got even better than ever before. Some subtle little changes here and there have made it even better. Kettle and tea/coffee in the rooms is brilliant, complimentary slippers were great additions. The upstairs cocktail lounge is a great idea as is the addition of iced coffee in the coffee bar. The food here has always been pretty good but this year it was outstanding, always plenty of choice inside and even more outside. Drinks at the bar are pretty much the same as they've always been but I always laugh at the people complaining that their drinks were a bit weak, for goodness sake just ask them to put more in, they really don't mind. On to the staff, again, the staff here have always been brilliant, friendly, helpful and great fun but this year they were even better, I put this down to the current batch of managers around the bar and food areas, to me, in the past, the managers have always seemed to be a little bit feared by the general staff (I don't mean that in a bad way) but this year they (Managers) seemed more like part of the family, interacting with both the staff and customers in equal parts, it was really nice to see. Big shout outs to Mohamed , Ozzie (Elvis) , Penny and Orhan behind and around the bar, absolutely superb staff. The entertainment, now the evening shows seemed a little bit better , well the ones we saw, it's not really our thing, but the day time entertainment was dreadful. Don't get me wrong, Bobby and Diego really, really are two brilliant lads, helpful and polite, funny, honest and not pushy BUT my goodness they really do get paid for nothing, same music playlist everyday, same games over and over everyday, bingo every night with little effort to actually make it entertaining. As I said two really nice people but a bit rubbish at their jobs to be honest just the same as last time they were there at the same time as us. The location of this hotel is perfect, within easy reach of many shops, bars and the beach and we really cannot wait to come back again soon.

Very nice and clean hotel, the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The two entertainment lads Diego and Bobby are brilliant at their jobs. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
