Friendly staff..Excellant food … relaxing…chilled …

I decided to take my 88 Yr old Mum for a weeks break .. The hotel is lovely in a fabulous location, I had been before but my Mum hadn't we loved everything other than the extremely noisy " generator/ extractor fan " which kept us awake every night. The staff are, without exception amazing, nothing is too much trouble. The food is very good with something for everyone, my Mum has an allergy and they made her a meal to suit her on the one day she struggled to find something.. other than us being extremely tired everything else was excellent

This is our 5th time at this hotel. We don’t normally go back to the same hotel but the amazing staff at this hotel keep making us want to return. As soon as we walked into the restaurant Yunus Karatarla greeted us like long lost friends. He is the most fantastic waiter. Our only disappointment was we thought we were the only special people but we saw he was the same with everyone, nothing is ever too much trouble for Yunus. Then there is Dogukan Kezkic who just makes us laugh all the time such a lovely guy. Without these two I’m not sure we would return again as there are so many other hotels in Turkey but coming back to Jiva makes us feel like we are visiting friends. We love the upgrade to the Lagoon bar and it’s the best place to get well made cocktails. We love the smaller pool area and Typhan is such a hard working waiter and so happy all the time. He never stops working. We did have a problem this time as our room was right over the nightclub. We did ask to move before we even went into the room. The bell boy rang reception and was told there was no other room available so try again tomorrow. The first two nights were quiet so we settled in and unpacked. OMG the 3rd night the music was so loud we just could not sleep. We had a couple of really bad nights but once you are unpacked you don’t want to move again. We wish we had moved the next day before unpacking. So if you are offered room 601 don’t take it unless you will be in the nightclub. We also found that it’s normally very quiet round the smaller pools but this time the music coming from the main pool was very loud. Also too many cats this time and people bringing food out of the restaurant to feed them is very annoying especially for someone who has a phobia of cats. The food here never disappoints so much choice at every meal.

Great location, great atmosphere, room clean and good size. Great value. Excellent all round. Only criticism would be privacy screen would be better in standard room balcony.

A great hotel, everything is great, I won't describe everything) there is one problem in our room the door to the toilet does not close due to the fact that the door has swollen from moisture for a long time
