Karbel

My wife and I landed at the Karbel 9pm ish 20th April, we've been here 6 times previously,but this trip is the earliest in the year. They were undergoing major refurbishment, the room allocated was not suitable for us, so we asked for a change,which came straight away the next day,and we settled for our 10 night stay. buffet breakfast as normal if required, pool and bar area good and clean, service for lunch and dinner was Al la carte for there was only a few guests staying, food was very good and plenty of it. The staff couldn't do enough for us,sunbed service, table service, room service. We check out today 30th,the season is beginning and more guests are arriving now,so the full buffet service should resume. There is still work going on around the buildings (Mainly detailing),but shouldn't interfere with the pool,bar,restaurant areas. We believe the owners pride in there business along with changing legislation has led to the upgrades and refurbishment being made,and the staff and workers they have around them are doing a grand job, we wish them all the best for the future. We've had another great time at The Karbel/ Olu Deniz,we'll definitely be back again.

The worst hotel I’ve ever seen will never go back didn’t feel welcome. The hotel decided to lock the pool down one day so they could have a private wedding and the music was on all night could not sleep at all It was like the speakers were in our room very hard to get drinking water they hold it like it’s gold the food was terrible. I will never visit this place ever again, even if someone paid for me or even paid me to go on the last day of a single woman with a disabled child had lost her bag and had no money whatsoever just before the bus picked us upto take us to the airport She tried to take a few biscuits maybe two or three for the journey as she had no money and the staff took them off her even after she explained what had happened so I ended up going over the road to shop and got them some drinks and snacks for the journey home

stay at the Karbel and we had a great stay, the staff there are really good Umit Tammer andAnother Mustafa to name a few and a big shout out for Baran and Yacob the 2 brothers in the bar they were exceptional. Memhet in the restaurant he's been there a long time he's a credit to the hotel. We have been going for a number of years met loads of friends who come back every year we all try to get the same time its lovely to catch up with them. The location of the hotel is just in the right place at the top of the strip the food is a bit hit and miss but always plenty its just me being picky eater. They do have cater for a lot of different nationalities the hotel is spotless the cleaners in all blocks are just great Omar the photographer is just great feels like a real friend always has time to stop and talk to everyone sure we will be back next year. if you have any problems at all Umit the manager is always on hand to help he is just great to talk to.

Was recommended by a colleague who told me "you have to go to believe how amazing this hotel is". I went and was not disappointed. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff who were very obliging. My curtain rail had come down and within seconds was repaired. Was not able to use the [pool as no handrail. The food out of this world. Place absolutely spotless including my room (thank you Ellen). Photographer brilliant! Had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. And don't forget to visit their Turkish Spa. I felt so relaxed and pampered (had the Magic one). It was my first holiday abroad on my own and they made me feel very at home.

Stay away from this hotel foods and drinks absolutely terrible we stay 7 person in October supposed to be all inclusive but almost every day we eat and drink outside staff none of them friendly I was scared to ask them questions no one asked drink at dinner time and all plastic cups at dinner they serving drinks newer see them before in my life. Was cheap hotel I wasn’t expecting first class but I wasn’t expecting that much worse newer again if you really like good holiday stay away from this hotel!!!!
