Sea Star Marmaris

What a wonderful week we had at this lovely hotel. From the minute we arrived when the reception staff welcomed us at 1am until we left with freshly made sandwiches for our journey home, the service could not have been better. The hotel is beautiful, everything is spotlessly clean and the location at the edge of town was perfect for us. Food was amazing, lots of choice at every meal and the snack bar choices were great too. We loved our stay and really didn’t want to come home. Icmeler is a very pretty resort, only a few miles from much larger Marmaris and we enjoyed a few walks along the very attractive, easy path between the resorts as well as a couple of walks up the hill at the back of the hotel to take in the views. Thank you for a great holiday, we hope to visit again some day.

We stayed here for 2 weeks last week April first week in May First week was very quiet with only a dozen or so couples the second week a bit busier. The hotel is well maintained, very clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice but not huge, bed had very firm matress, shower was always hot and nice and powerful. Nice big towels with proper hand head towels too. Mini bar in the room with tea a coffee making facilities. Only 1 small draw and little space to store luggage Nice choice of food which was kept hot very well eith the grill available at each mesl time, but it did become a bit repetitive after 2 weeks, there is a snack bar available 2-5 for hot and cold snacks and cakes in a fridge in reception all the time, all food very fresh and lovely ingredients, if you did want a change of scenery it is only a 10-15 minute walk to bars and restaurants, eating drinking out was similar to uk prices. There are 2 bars in the hotel lobby and pool, with a good choice of cocktails, 2 beers and white red rose wine, wich was drinkable but not truly to my taste as I prefer a Sav Blanc. WiFi seemed ok but we did purchase sims for just £7 for 14 day's. Want to say a big thank you to Yagmar in the lobby who sorted our pre dinner drinks To Dilem and Gokberk from the pool bar lovely chatting to you after dinner and learning about Turkey Metin,Cihad and Fatima in the restaurant, who are always smiling and so efficient. Nazli was our room maid she did a great job was greeted us each morning with a wave and a smile. The views from our room 402 and outside seating area were great Also had photos taken by Marco which were lovely. I would recommend the hotel, mainly, more mature clientele, no entertainment in hotel so very peaceful. Comfy sunbed with think mattresses and also on the beach each pair with its own umbrella, all supervised by Mahmet. The bus runs regularly just outside hotel into Marmaris

We had a fantastic stay here over the bank holiday. The food and cleanliness were absolutely 10/10, and the location is simply perfect. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. They are exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely go above and beyond. My partner is vegan and often struggles when travelling, even with basics like milk. Muammer took it upon himself to visit multiple supermarkets to source oat milk for her, which was incredibly thoughtful and very much appreciated. The spa experience was equally impressive. The facilities were spotless, and the massage was one of the best we’ve had—professional, knowledgeable, and delivered with real care. We did have a small issue (our misinterpretation and nothing to do with the hotel) on arrival, but it was handled immediately and professionally by management, which speaks volumes about how well the hotel is run. Having travelled to over 80 countries and stayed in a wide range of accommodation, I can honestly say this hotel stands out—particularly because of its staff. They set a standard that others should take note of. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning later this year. If you want a lovely holiday, beautiful surroundings and friendly staff, this is the one for you!

From check in to a reluctant departure, our short but wonderful holiday exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is stunning. Spotless everywhere. Food is varied, plentiful and delicious. and the restaurant areas are tasteful and well equipped. Drinks are good quality. Great cocktail list. Private beach is a few steps away from the beautiful pool area. Beach has its own pier and toilets which is so convenient. Would recommend the Spa, very professional. Our room, 301, was lovely. Views over to Içmeler and out to sea, were amazing. Housemaids did a fabulous job with beautiful towel art. Mini bar replenished daily. Hotel is ideally located with a short walk to Içmeler and a 10 minute taxi ride to Marmaris. Overall, a fantastic 5 days holiday at Sea Star. But the one thing that did it for us was the staff. Everyone had a smile and just could not do enough for you. So friendly and welcoming but still professional. Came home today and looking to book again already.

From the moment we arrived at the Sea Star Hotel in Icmeler, we knew we were in for a fantastic week! Check-in was quick and easy, so we could slip straight into holiday mode. Our room was lovely—nice and spacious—and the shower was brilliant, perfect after a day in the sun. The team at the hotel were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always smiling, which made such a difference to our stay. A special shoutout to Memet, the lifeguard, and his young apprentice “Mr TikTok”—what a duo! They looked after us every day, made sure we had our favourite spot on the pier, and kept us entertained too. The food was really good with plenty of variety each day, so there was always something to enjoy. The breakfast omelettes were a highlight—freshly made and delicious every time. A big shoutout as well to all the waiters and waitresses—they truly made our stay even more relaxing by going the extra mile at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A special mention to our daily waiter, Mummaher, who couldn’t do enough for us—his service was outstanding and really made our holiday extra special. Our room was cleaned daily by a lovely cleaner who went above and beyond, creating different towel designs on the bed each day. Such a fun and thoughtful touch—it always made us smile when we walked back in. We also treated ourselves to a Turkish bath at the spa, which was incredibly relaxing and well worth it. All in all, we had such a relaxing, fun, and memorable week at the Sea Star. A huge thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special—we’ll definitely be back!
