TUI BLUE Tropical

This is my honest review after returning from my 6 consecutive trip to Tropical with my 10 year old child. This is not intended to put anyone off. If you have already booked here you will love it (we have been 6 times!!!) . I'm just giving my opinion and experience on this particular trip and comparing to the last 5 visits. The grounds remain immaculate. The food for an all inclusive is still amazing and the cleanliness is all round above and beyond. We enjoyed all the alacart restaurants too and it's great that they are all now included in AI. The proximity to the airport is such a bonus and check in/rooms are as expected. Great standard and cleaned brilliantly. We loved the addition of the sensory room and used it multiple times for my son. We also booked a beach Cabanna for the first time this year and enjoyed the space and shade. I thought the value for money was good. For us, the most disappointing thing this year was the daytime Entertainment. We knew this had changed so we were semi ready for it to be different. The entertainment team and activities on offer just didn't cut it at all for us compared to previous years. Daytime activities (outside of kids club) were poorly run. The staff were nice but not really interested. In our experience they were too busy talking to each other than getting the children / families involved. Very limited interaction or interest. But very sweet/kind. My son was too young to join in things like archery, darts, boccia, curling etc. So we were pretty limited during the day. The activities he could join in with (as a 10 year old) felt very repetitive - inflatable targets in the morning and footpool in the afternoon. It didn't feel as inclusive for the entire family as it has previously. And would have been nice to have additional activities for this particular age group. Evening entertainment: We missed hashtag live, around the world, quizstorm etc. The new quiz' were ok but felt a bit robotic. We also had issue every time with the ap, but that's not tuis fault. We really missed having a full Tui ents team. Photo ops, building a relationship with the reps etc. The ents team were nice but lacked something for us. Just our personal preference. Some of the outside evening entertainment companys were great though!!! Big love to Flashback (who were amazing) and the breakdancers from the Philippines (annoyingly can't remember the name of the group). We personally missed activities we could do together - silent disco, bingo, cubb, molkey, etc that they have had previous years. There were a couple but not many in the 10 days we were there. We missed the live music in the lobby. It was always a great alternative if the amphitheater was a bit too much stimulation. The queues everywhere felt much longer this year. For the bar, for ice cream, for dinner, for reception. Felt a little understaffed at times although the staff were always great and so busy. External trips and transfers with Basket travel were amazing as always. Highly recommend and great value for money. We also did the UFO on the beach at the hotel which was awesome! Staff were brilliant as my son was really worried about flipping. They took it easy and he loved it. Can't praise them enough. All round still a great hotel, but if this was my first visit I probably wouldn't return as quickly as we previously have. Like I said this is our 6 visit and the value for money is still great, just not as great as previous years for what we are after with our particular situation and age range.

TUI BLUE Tropical is a fantastic choice for a relaxing holiday, offering a great balance of comfort, quality, and entertainment. The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere, with clean and modern rooms, friendly staff, and plenty of facilities to enjoy. The food is varied and tasty, with something to suit different preferences throughout the day. The pool areas are particularly enjoyable, providing the perfect place to unwind in the sunshine. There are also plenty of activities and entertainment options for those who want to stay busy. Overall, TUI BLUE Tropical is a lovely resort and I would happily recommend it for a relaxing getaway. 10/10 holiday, Arif was a lovely man who made the whole experience unforgettable, please make sure to say hi to him
