Verde Hotel

Just back from a fabulous three week holiday at this lovely hotel, the location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the gorgeous beach and surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. The pool area is great, plenty of sun loungers both in the sun or the shade. We have stayed here before and this time the food had greatly improved with a new chef who cares about what he is cooking and feeding people, always a reasonable choice and plenty of fresh salads and lovey fresh bread. The rooms have also been modernised and are much sleeker and more minimalist than previous visits. The lovely Ana is always on hand to ensure you have everything you need and are having a great time, she is a brilliant asset to this hotel, nothing is too much trouble for her. This is a budget friendly hotel where you can combine eating and drinking out if required. Thank you to Ana and all the team at the Verde for an amazing holiday, can’t wait to return in September. Have to say I was abit wary after reading the reviews. Nice hotel for the money was kept clean and staff were nice and helpful. Been in the centre was fine as everything shuts off at 12.30 so you werent kept awake. Rooms were nice and clean my only complaint is the bed was abit hard but I got on with it. (it told on my hips lol) food was ok im not a big meat eater but always found something only thing I would say was for the snacks they only had burgers and chips or burgers and chicken nuggets, would have been better if there was some kind of vegetarian option like pizza. Experienced a Turkish bath and massage which was fantastic would highly recommend the bloke (cant remember his name) that came around the pool asking you was really nice and friendly. Pool area was nice and clean. Anna was lovely always happy to help and would go out of her way to speak to you and make sure you were having a nice time. Would I return.... yes I would I think for the price its a canny hotel xxx

One of the best holiday in Turkey! We stayed first time in Verde and it was just amazing! Location is perfect, lovely and very friendly staff, food absolutely ok (not much choice but you never hungry and it’s tasty). Room not big but enough for us, cleaning day. Fast wi-fi. Pool is lovely, with bubble jacuzzi! Thanks to everyone, you made our holiday! See you soon!

Firstly I must say that this was my 3rd time to verde and I was really looking forward to it. Arrival was lovely and after 3 days there was no water delivery to my room, after talking to Anna twice we received our water. On the Friday of our first week we had some money missing from our room. We then got told that the staff had spoken to our cleaner and he denied taking it. We was then asked if we wanted the police to be called and after further investigation we discovered that if we phoned the police they wouldn't take a statement without an interpreter which would be at our cost. That was then all forgotten about the hotel didn't do anything else. By this time I wanted to move hotels but this wasn't possible. On the second week we came back to our room and found broken glass on the floor after the cleaner had been and once again we got told they would speak to the cleaner and once again we never got an answer. If one of us has trod on the glass our feet would have been cut open but still nothing was said. At this point I couldn't wait to get home and I'm totally disappointed with my stay this time and unfortunately wouldn't stay at this hotel again which is a shame as I have recommended this hotel to loads of people. Rooms are nice refurbished and the food was medium lunch was the best meal and we ate out most of the time.sorry to put this review but I thought as new owners of the verde they would look after their guests. I am so disappointed and upset.

We stayed at the Verde twice last year & thoroughly enjoyed it, so booked to return on 29th May 26 for 14 days & we were really looking forward to another enjoyable stay. Sadly we did not enjoy our stay this year. We noticed on day 6 of our holiday that 5 pounds worth of pound coins that I had left in a stack on the dressing table the night we arrived had been stolen. We were the second couple in less than a week to have items stolen from our room. A few days later we returned to our room one day just as the cleaner was leaving & found numerous pieces of a broken glass ashtray laying around on the floor in our room. Which the cleaner must have dropped while he was cleaning & just left on the floor, fortunately we had spotted them before treading on them bare footed. I did speak to the hotels customer relations manager about both incidents, but unfortunately it was a complete waste of time, as she completely refused to accept that the cleaner would have been guilty of either incident. As a result of this we will never return to the Verde again.
