Verde Hotel

Just left the Verde Hotel after a week away with my partner and friends. Prior to going, some of the reviews were saying not very nice things, but I can’t see why they’d put that as we have a lovely time at the hotel. The rooms are lovely (extremely small balcony, but that wasn’t a concern at all), everything was clean and tidy, the pool was so fresh and cool, the bar and waiting staff were are brilliant and attentive. A little tipping to them here and there helped us get lovely service. Little to us is a lot to them. The food was amazing! As someone who is a fussy eater, there were lots of choices. Yes, majority of it was the same, but that’s what you expect in most hotels. For me, breakfast wasn’t the most selective of choices. The drinks were so tasty and fresh. The reception desk was helpful when we needed extra things. The noise level has been noted to be loud, but that’s just how it is. There are a few bars around the location of the hotel, but at 12:30, the music has to be turned off by all establishments. From our experience, the atmosphere around the hotel was respectful, quiet and content. No party families, lad/girl holiday groups etc. We paid £755 each for the hotel and all inclusive and it was definitely worth it for what we got. No complaints here. Icmeler itself is a much better place than Marmaris. All 4 of us as said we’d definitely come again to the hotel.

We had a lovely experience at the Verde Hotel, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were always able to find a sun lounger around the pool. Food was hit and miss, lunches and desserts were the best meal. The drinks at the bar are OK, again cocktails are hit and miss depending on whether the barman knew how to make the cocktail. The pool was lovely, the rooms were compact but clean, air con worked well. If you're expecting 5 star luxury for 3 star prices you will be disappointed. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel in good location.close to beach and shops. Only go if you like karaoke, bar next door open until 12.30 so quite noisy. Rooms ok, small but functional, small balcony. updated bathroom, hot drink making facilities in room, bottle of water provided daily. A/ c unit in situ. Cleaners good and visit daily, towels changed every 2nd day. Pool and outdoor area ok. People tend to claim loungers early. Good covered area for shade and drinks available until 11 pm.Gym ( small) and spa on site. Restaurant ok but limited choices and poor rotation. Limited snacks during day. Must like turkey and meatballs. Restaurant staff not great at cleaning.

Lovely holiday Anna was so nice nothing was too much trouble also 1 of the best Mohitos by the barman food was ok always plenty of choice location really good for the beach and plenty of bars nearby

We arrived at the verde hotel in the early hours of 6th July first impressions were good. Although when we got to our room we found the toilet seat was loose and toilet kept flushing itself. The safe wouldn’t lock even though it said it was locked when looking we found a price of sticky rubber that was stopping it from locking, we removed it and was able to lock it although a bit temperamental most of the time. Breakfast was fine but on day 3 we went down to find there was nothing put out so we went out to eat,we was told later that breakfast was an hour late, the following day Anna was out checking the food was out on time and that it was replenished I’m pleased to say that there was no further problems getting food. Lunch -always a good selection which was enjoyed. Afternoon snacks were nice pose, chips, burgers, meatballs etc. Evening meal - On day 2 we went down for food at 8pm there was no food left & hadn’t been replenished so we ate out(we did complain). Pool & Pool area- most of sun loungers were under cover there was only a small area that wasn’t so towels were being put out in the early hours, pool was fairly small and quite shallow but was adequate to cool down in. But I do think the hotel should remove some of the cover so not as much outdoor space was shaded. Cleaning staff were lovely even tried to talk to us via her mobile phone always said hello with a smile. 1.5 litres of water left daily. Reception staff were also very nice, friendly and helpful. All in all we did enjoy our holiday it’s in a great location met some fantastic people. Would we come back? Yes if there was a few changes the the pool area as you don’t go on holiday to be sat in the shade.
