TUI BLUE Playa Feliz

This was my 5th visit to Playa Feliz. As always, the hotel itself is great. The location is awesome. The staff is mostly super friendly. For me it's important to have a clean environment and the hotel is clean. They clean your room daily and if you are in need of anything they will come and help you out.The food is near perfect. What I like about the food is that it's not as salty as other places. The staff in the restaurant is also great. The people working in the kids club are phenomenal. This hotel is worth the 5hour flight. Why only 3 stars then?! After being here again for the 5th time, I do have the same issue with the hotel and that is the level of entertainment. (Full disclosure: I am working IN entertainment and with hotels) It's objectively bad; which it always was and over the years it has gotten only worse. At this point it's so bad, that when talking to some of the staff, even THEY expressed their discontent with the current state of entertainment. One staff member even said that they (I want to keep it ambiguous on who it could be out of privacy) miss their own culture at the hotel which is absolutely correct. Why travel 5hours to listen to Western music and see Western shows for example?! From the old and outdated music that is playing during the days to the shows during the night; it's just just not at the level that it could and should be. The DJ at the garden party... I'm not even going to comment. At this point in time when so many people have talked about it, staff has complained about it and the hotels unwillingness to change/update it makes it a deliberate choice to keep that aspect on the level that it is right now and that is sad. Especially when things can be changed fairly easily. I really hope this will change. On multiple occasions I have reached out to the hotel about this since I work in this field but it is still to no avail. Also; often when paying in the hotel I wasn't given the choice in what currency I want to pay. The clerk is obligated by law to give you that choice when you pay with a foreign card and this was often not the case. I didn't make a big deal out of it, but it's something that has to be correct. I can go into more detail but these are the biggest issues I have with this hotel. All in all; this hotel DESERVES a 5-Star rating but it has to do some changes before I can give it... And trust me: I do want to give it a 5-Star rating.

Great location. Helpful and friendly staff, particularly Joaquin and the entertainment team. Rooms really clean and very well situated around the resort.

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks at the Playa Feliz. The location, was great for us. The restaurants, shops just a stroll away. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very friendly. There’s a bus service a short stroll away. We had a good time and would recommend Keri

Travelled family 4 3 adults 2 disabled 2 child stayed in blu apartments 2 bedroom Positives On arrival quick 20 minute transfer Quick check in Apartment 2 storey bedroom accessed by awkward stairs nice clean well equipped self catering downstairs bedroom toilet uncomfortable beds asked matress topper better cleaned daily clean towels Blu complex 2 pools small bar area we were all inclusive could only eat breakfast small restaurant shame much better than the canteen like one in orquida I feel small restaurant should ne open at lunch All inclusive worth it n8ce food good variety all day in orquida beverages good quality Pool area and sunbeds plenty my grandson l9ved it 😀 shame about beach area we went to amodores 6 euro taxi nice 👍 Entertainment varied mostly kids although small outdoor area bar shame no music only 2x week Overall really enjoyed it ☺️ Negatives Lunch buffet although varied food outdoor area full birds bird poo needs netting off and cleaning 😋 Self catering limited shops we were told expensive and eating out limited well worth half board all inclusive Outdoor areas all though kept clean needed jet wash Could be given another star if there was more attention detail the main entertainment bit grubby and not inviting Recomend well worth visit Thankyou to tui rep who helped when husband wondered off but was found thanks again we really enjoyed our stay 😊

Location was Playa Feliz We had 10 Glorious days vacation at Playa Feliz. Carlos and Beni And Jose was wish us warmly welcome to the hotel. We have been there many times. We feel like home on vacation. We have room to the pool. The value for money can’t be valued because of feel welcome. I don’t think it’s expensive
