Hotel Cinco Plazas

Average at best... We stayed here with our 2 teenage sons. The 1 bed apartment was basic but clean. The bathroom room is small with no bath, just a walk in shower. The beds are fine but the pull out couch/ bed is not great. The pull out bed is about 1 inch off the ground. There was no activities for teenagers and no football pitch/ ball area. There was a smell of sewerage that came up from the drains every night and we had to sleep with the windows open. The pool bar is small with 4 tables. There is not enough sun umbrellas and there is a dash to secure one in the morning. No evening entertainment apart from kids disco. Location is good. There is a coffee machine in the apartment. There is a nice splash zone area. Housekeeping was done everyday .

Hotel Nice Staff Mostly Nice Beds Very Uncomfortable Bad Smell In Our Room,Ask Multiple Times To Fix But Not Done. Have Stayed A Number Of Times Before But Not In A Hurry Back.

Rooms were spacious ,well equipped and clean.Value for money and in a good location.Rooms possibly slightly tired but the positives by far outweigh the negatives.

Lovely complex . Friendly staff cleaners and entertainment staff fantastic. Atmosphere around pool area very good with plenty of sunbeds and whole place is spotless. Rooms are a good size and well equipped . Complex sits up a hill in middle of strip and is next to Spinnakers bar and supermarket.

We had a lovely stay at Grupotel Cinco Plazas overall. The location is excellent, close to the strip while still being in a convenient area. There’s also a good pub and a supermarket right next door, which was very handy. Our pool-view room was lovely, spacious, and cleaned daily to a high standard. The pools were great and well maintained. Unfortunately, the splash park was closed during part of our stay due to high winds, but that was beyond the hotel’s control. We used the snack bar a few times and found it reasonably priced with a good selection available. We can’t really comment on the entertainment as we spent most of our time out exploring the area, but the hotel’s location made this very easy. Unfortunately, our stay was let down by an incident involving a member of the reception team called Estaban. On one occasion, we found him rude when dealing with us. The following morning, we witnessed him shouting aggressively at a young man in reception before jumping over the reception counter and having to be restrained by other members of staff. This happened while we were trying to leave the hotel to start our day. We were unable to get past the reception area and found the situation intimidating and uncomfortable. Aside from this incident, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, with good facilities and spacious rooms. However, the reception experience unfortunately had a negative impact on what would otherwise have been a very enjoyable stay.
