10 night stay in June and would 100% consider returning. Some of the reviews on here are far too harsh from people who clearly expect far too much for their money and half of it is untrue. - Rooms are a little dated yes, but they're spacious and immaculately clean. You get amazing views from the 4th floor balcony's. Shower is sooo good and the beds very comfy. Clean towels daily left by the maids and bed linen would also be changed daily if you so wish. My only gripe with the rooms is there's barely any plug sockets so take an extension lead. - Food is exactly what you'd expect from a 4* AI. It wasn't at all to my taste at dinner and tea but that's just my preference. Everything you could possibly want at breakfast. You do need to take a slip to dinner and tea but its only so the staff know who is AI, not to limit your eating! The review saying there's no live egg cooking section is a lie. Snacks available during the day are repetitive but always kept covered to keep flies away and the area is kept spotless. - The all inclusive drinks menu is available to every guest via a QR code. It's stated clearly on there what is and isn't included so certain cocktails not being included should come as no surprise if people bother to check. Drinks as expected and wide range available. Says 2 per person but I often got drinks for our full group. In an evening you can either use the bar in reception yourself or receive table service at the lower level by the lovely staff who can't do enough for you. - Evening entertainment is dependent on your tastes. I personally don't enjoy acrobatics or magic so it was a bit meh for me but the nights they had a singer on were fab. Al Cafone was hilarious. Mini disco at night is louder than it needs to be but the kids there absolutely loved it which is what matters. Never saw any sunbed wars. Pool is absolutely massive and again, the pool and pool area were spotless. You can get clean towels to use on the loungers everyday. There are on site shops available but they're expensive. There's 2 hyper Dino shops within a 2 min walk selling the same things for far less. Location is ideal, 5 mins walk from del duque and fanabe beaches and over the rd from the market and the Duke shops. Overall the experience was nothing but positive and we had an amazing time.
We stayed here in February half term as a family of 4 (children aged 2 and 4). The hotel was very good overall, plenty of space around the complex and in the rooms. What really made our holiday was the welcoming atmosphere for us as a family, plenty on offer for the children to do, 3 pools and a play area, suitable entertainment and the mini disco at a good time (i.e. after dinner). The entertainment team were fantastic for the children. A very special mention to Mario, who truly went above and beyond. Holly and Max loved you so much and Max still talks about "his best friend Mario in Tenerife" now! Thank you xx
This is out third visit to GF Isabel and we had another fantastic time, this time I brought my eldest daughter and her child, my grandaughter with us, and they're now big fans. We stayed in Room 662, just 5 metres from main pool. The whole hotel was kept immaculately clean by the excellent staff. We stayed Half Board and the food was really good, we ALWAYS found something we liked, some people complained about food but they are expecting restaurant quality, they cater for hundreds and do a fine job. Looking forward to coming back with more family
Just back from a girls holiday here. Rooms 105-102. Lovely to have a separate bedroom to living area. Hotel a little tired decor wise, but clean and comfortable. No problem with cockroaches. Food varied and we could always find something, some of it could be a little warmer, but did enjoy it. Service in the entertainment area very slow for drinks, on more than one occasion we had to go inside and ask to be served. Evening entertainment consists of kids club, then 2 different acts. First act always better than the second, but entertaining (not always for the right reasons 😂) Like the fact the pool area doesn’t open until 10 am so no towels left early and not used till lunchtime. Didn’t go out much but I understand it’s quite a steep walk back from the beach. Would I stay there again? Yes,
"Unfortunately, the standard of this hotel is well below 4 stars. The food is very weak. Breakfast is okay, but the rest of the meals just consist of pizza and french fries. You can completely forget about fresh fruits or vegetables. Also, not providing free drinking water is very disappointing. The staff is mostly unfriendly and sometimes even rude. The only star goes to the cleaning lady who was nice. After 10 PM, the hotel is dead, and you can only see cockroaches running around. Very poor experience overall."
