Everything was great, especially the staff and the beach

Nice setting, great location, everyone very attentive

​While the hotel boasts a beautiful beachfront location, excellent food, and some wonderfully welcoming staff, the overall experience fell far short of Marriott standards due to poor maintenance and untrained staff. ​The Lows: Poor Maintenance & Service Gaps ​Room Issues: The property feels dated and poorly maintained. During our stay, we dealt with a leaking AC, no hot water, bathroom issue, and a very weak Wi-Fi connection. While staff attempted to fix these issues, they clearly lacked the proper training. ​Dining Disorganization: The main restaurant frequently ran out of basic items like cups, spoons, and tea bags(green and breakfast tea), which felt like a cost-cutting measure that compromised the guest experience. And we were even served twice the wrong lunch order. ​Misleading Restaurant Information: The "Fisherman’s Restaurant" was undergoing renovations, which was never disclosed. When we tried to order from its menu, we were told it was the "same restaurant, just a different menu"—completely ignoring the fact that dining is also about ambience. On our last day, we want to go for Fisherman's food again and we were abruptly told we couldn't sit outside due to a "management decision," ​The Highs: Great Food and Frontline Staff ​On a positive note, the housekeeping, front office, and Beach Bar teams were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Furthermore, the food was excellent—both the buffet and the a la carte dishes we tried were outstanding. ​Final Thoughts: As a fellow hotelier who has stayed at many Marriott properties worldwide, I have never experienced this level of poor management. The only reason we managed to enjoy our stay was due to the beautiful views and the hard work of a few excellent frontline staff members. I strongly urge Marriott Corporate to thoroughly review and audit this property.

Beautiful Rooms, Pool and overall a great experience. The Staff was extremely nice and i really liked, that the cats were allowed in the hotel area.
